I can put turn and out dogfight almost any plane in the Yak1 but it comes at a cost, and that’s it leaves me so vulnerably slow and setting still basically so I only do it when I’m low, in an enclosed position (in between hills or mountains, down in a valley or entrenched position) And that’s because the Yak 1 is one of the rare planes that can turn on a dime (literally) when you go into a a run, and no matter how fast your going, as long as your crew is built to withstand the G force and stamina. You can pull back on the throttle and break, and it’ll cut your speed to the point you do almost a complete 180 and your on whoever tail in seconds. I’ve literally been the lead vehicle, had spits and hurricanes dive or bend into my path, starting to position themselves behind me or above me to my rear, the perfect place for a deflection or place to attempt a kill, And as soon as I turn into them, I pull back and spin, they over shoot and I’m right behind them as they try to turn and put me, doing the one thing they’re superior at, but in this case it’s the opposite of what you should do because my low speed and ability to keep on their 6.. I shred them in a short burst. The yak 1 is also forgiving as it don’t take much to push the throttle back up, and pick up speed to not be a setting duck for long and I’ve done this move back to back to back especially when it comes to German planes because as they want to dive and climb, letting them dive on me, and by pulling back, they almost always overshoot my position before having a chance to even squeeze the trigger, and by the time to try to pull away to climb it leaves them almost perfectly in the rear deflection climbing position I think is the best for this Yak because the Guns and Aiming is just 👌🏼 when your aiming alil high in a turn. Only thing is you have a small window before you begin to stall. But again, the Yak is so forgiving you still have time to send a few burst, and turn and dive to gain speed. Before you find yourself a easy target. Again. It’s not 100% but my success rate is unbelievable . I love doing it in arcade and matches that have a lot of ground targets in small enclosed spaces where heavy enemy fighters and attackers build up in a murder pit, it’s insane how many back to back, small adjustment kills I’ve had in a short span of time. Hi Defyne, what is the optimum altitude for switching supercharger gear 1-2 for Yak-1? EDIT: but it seems you do not use MEC with this plane, maybe, this plane do not need MEC
Good plane, Although in bf 109's the only yak I have issues with are the yak 3 all variants, the others I don't struggle at all. Spitfires and ki 43 however I just don't know how to fight them apart from extending and headons
The A-35 does have bomber spawn, and can do a whole lot more damage to enemy fighters than an actual bomber. The performance is pathetic, but it can do a couple of reversals and stall out a couple of newbies due to the bomber spawn. Decent support plane I think, but don't expect any carries in it.
Me: no matter how I mimic or try to use the same tactics as Defyn I still get instakilled...ifk what the fuck I did wrong I'm so confused about energy still...AND IM A LEVEL 49 FOR FUCK SAKE!!!
It kinda takes more than just knowing what maneuvers to do, a lot of it just comes with experience. There are a lot of variables that pop up in matches that you sometimes just can't account for.
Learning to get good at Air RB is extremely difficult and long, the more time you put in the more results you get out. Watching and learning is very important, but just like any skill applying it and learning things on your own is what really elevates your gameplay.
Can you fly the French Seafire Mk.III? I take it out on Ground RB for air superiority and I love that plane, but I really dont know how it would perform in Air RB.
It's slow, and outclassed by almost every plane at its BR. Doesn't climb well. You will often face 4.7-5.7 germany + USA and you will get your ass clapped harder than in a BDSM video. At least you have good Hispano cannons (but with limited ammo) but at this BR you also face M3s and other extremely potent american and german guns. Your 7.7mm machine guns are here for the decoration and they don't actually deal damage.
Personally, I'd fly out the Spitfire F Mk 9. Same firepower, but a better airframe AND a lower BR. The Seafire Mk.III isn't a good plane in Air-RB, you can make it work but expect an extremely rough time (especially against japanese aircraft). Also, as soon as two or more enemies have the altitude advantage over you, you will quickly lose energy and eventually die. Similar story with most planes, but this one REALLY dumps speed so you're basically guaranteed to die in the situation mentioned above.
@@rainsilent I have a hard time believing the Seafire Mk.III is better than the Spitfire F Mk 9 in any category. However, I agree that the Seafire does suffer at higher altitudes, the same is true for the Griffin Seafires also. And yes, the Seafire Mk.III should totally be a lower BR, 5.0 is criminal for what this plane is. Edit: Okay, the Seafire Mk.III is probably better in instantaneous turn-rate, but I'd bet the sustained turn-rate is worse than the F Mk 9 due to the added weight of Naval equipment.

hello funny man, honest question: what do you think its the main skill issue people have? like is it aim? manouvering? being braindead?
Greed and lack of patience because of it
@@DEFYN what the grind does to a playerbase
They nerfed the russian p-39 in the ground. It has no HE belt and higher br than the regular american p-39n
he should fly the He 100d1
DEFYN i have a problem with silver lions. How can I solve?

My most played yak since it has bombs lol
P36g might also be good
Me: no matter how I mimic or try to use the same tactics as Defyn I still get instakilled...ifk what the fuck I did wrong I'm so confused about energy still...AND IM A LEVEL 49 FOR FUCK SAKE!!!
Same dude. I'm level 61 and I get pooped on nearly every match air or ground. I suck.
I'm not sure how long you've been playing for, but it took me a year to get the grasp of flying Air-RB well
Which type of ammo did you use bro??
