But when you pull up too hard and pass the critical angle of attack - lift actually decreases when you increase angle of attack further. Additionally you have other various effects like movement of wing focus because of flow separation and depending on wing shape it will have different nose up or nose down behavior. But speaking simply about roll - in stall conditions wing that goes down will have lesser lift and plane will have moment that does not resist roll - but aggravate it. As result - any inaccurate stick input or turbulence - and your wing literally falls down like it has no support at all, you cannot correct that with ailerons at all and you either need rudder input or push down stick a bit. To add - you want to to push rudder only if you understand what are you doing and why: usually it's either stall behavior test or you need to pull maximum available critical angle of attack at low speed in order to get a fire solution. I have a flight stick and rudder pedals. And I can do somewhat well level flying. But I think I need a stick with a force feedback so I have a better feeling what my plane is doing. You know, like how some of the newer steering wheels has now
The moment I saw you trying to fly for the first time, I knew you'll be crashing. Here some tips for better flying, 1) set trim keybinds, 2) beware diving at 30° angle and aim at the bottom of the sight for improve bomb accuracy, 3) beware of allies made tanks in axis teams, most team killing happens because of misidentified of tanks.
Setting the controls is essencial in air Sim. Inverting the virtual joystick is waay more intuitive, and add at least a control to raise and lower pilot’s head
Day 3 of asking Malzi to play french tier 1 reserve vehicles, no premiums, no planes, arcade or sim, on controller, no bushes (I will never leave u alone)
When taking off in an aircraft in Sim, you need to adjust your rudder trim, there should be a control for it (you set the rudder trim to somewhere in between 0-100%(requires tweaking the %value until you are move straight), and it will stay in that fixed position), this will prevent you from having to use the entire rudder, which required you to keep pressing the rudder controls as it isn't able to be set to a fixed angle. this should help to keep your plane straight on the runway.
I think the reason people dont play sim is because they completely neglected it. It was all i played back in the day when it was full real battles. Realistic battle was good too. Zero markers, friendly fire, but you had a regular third person view instead of the over the shoulder view. Teams werent mixed (they were always axis vs allies or west vs east when post ww2). Then they switched on markers in RB, got rid of SB almost entirely (its in the events tab basically the War Thunder graveyard), and now the only playable mode is RB.
i think the reason they don't actually play sim is the same as the reason milsim games are not as popular as arcade games for example and coupled with the fact sim games arent that popular, war thunder's sim is way too specific of a community to be popular since there are much better alternatives like IL-2 Sturmovik or something like DCS for people who want sim ww2
Lmao as someone who literally only plays Sim. Its really cute to see you struggle with taking off :D Sim is a different world, but tbh since i've got the hang of it, i've never played the other game modes again lol Pls Part 2

When ground was first released I played only sim as it was a normal game mode back then. You had one tank and that's it. So when I came back to the game my techies looked like I drilled hole into them XD
That was great. You've obviously complete mastery of WT strategy and tactics, it was fascinating to see you grappling with the sim part. I have the opposite problem - I can cope with the sim part (I am gude at flit simz....) but have a very poor idea how the game works. Really enjoyed that, thanks.
For air sim, use either a flight stick or xbobx controller or something similar. Both work equally well. You can get good shockingly fast if you learn to recover from a stall, be mindful with the stick to avoid stalling, and lead slightly more than you think when shooting aircraft. Air sim runs enduring confrontation gamemode, which runs for a couple of hours and allows you to take as many or few sorties as youd like. The map is usually a bit larger but filled with various objeives. Bombers, attackers, or heavier fighters that would other be slapped in air RB can actually play their role effectively and tend to survive longer becuse they can slightly be harder to spot and shoot effectively than in realistic mode
I kinda hate fighting Germany at that BR (i only play US tanks) because every single match is like fighting a whole SS Panzer battalion worth of Tiger IIs. But then again I do get satisfaction from Tiger IIs struggling to pen my T26E5 or getting a good ambush done in the Super Hellcat
I disagree, tiger 2 already picks up formidable enemies. The true fun is with Tiger1, the vehicle simply dominates and penetrate all the vehicles, if you use the angular tactic, then you become invincible.

I have a flight stick and rudder pedals. And I can do somewhat well level flying. But I think I need a stick with a force feedback so I have a better feeling what my plane is doing. You know, like how some of the newer steering wheels has now
Oh...that explaines the shitty piloting by controller
em no you dont you just need proper preset of settings and some time to get used to it? i recommend to play som sim AB
@@justname9252 that answer was to?
The moment I saw you trying to fly for the first time, I knew you'll be crashing. Here some tips for better flying, 1) set trim keybinds, 2) beware diving at 30° angle and aim at the bottom of the sight for improve bomb accuracy, 3) beware of allies made tanks in axis teams, most team killing happens because of misidentified of tanks.
Setting the controls is essencial in air Sim.
Inverting the virtual joystick is waay more intuitive, and add at least a control to raise and lower pilot’s head
Day 3 of asking Malzi to play french tier 1 reserve vehicles, no premiums, no planes, arcade or sim, on controller, no bushes
(I will never leave u alone)
You're asking him to change his personality in War Thunder😂
Just pure pain (without chocolat)
Hey malzi can you do some videos on some british veichles they have some pretty weird and wacky tanks and planes
Bushes should block vision in GRB too. It would stop the bush madness at least a little.
You've outdone yourself this time, Malzi. I dont think there was a single edit I didn't laugh at. Good shit
Playing since 2016, best mode to relax and enjoy the game (avoid top tier)
Aw yes, the new player experience. Don't worry buddy, everyone's got to start somewhere. :D
Simulator Battles are what I used to play 90% of the Time back in the Day. Now I play Café Simulator 14h a Day.
That video was so funny, see nobody can play directly perfect round we all need experience.
Awesome Video
mans done it all, usuall rb, he played arcade, naval and now sim
Dude gave me flashbacks of the first times flighing in sim bru but once you got it its so much fun i promise
Simulator battles for a while made you a true alpha by removing those bushes 😎
Then they switched on markers in RB, got rid of SB almost entirely (its in the events tab basically the War Thunder graveyard), and now the only playable mode is RB.
i think the reason they don't actually play sim is the same as the reason milsim games are not as popular as arcade games for example
and coupled with the fact sim games arent that popular, war thunder's sim is way too specific of a community to be popular since there are much better alternatives like IL-2 Sturmovik or something like DCS for people who want sim ww2
Malzi taking off for the first time in Sim battles.
He's beginning to believe.
Lmao as someone who literally only plays Sim. Its really cute to see you struggle with taking off :D
Sim is a different world, but tbh since i've got the hang of it, i've never played the other game modes again lol
Pls Part 2
Dogfights in Air SB in Early Jets or Late Props is the besssttt
omg, I really love malzi exploring modes, that he has never played before
Bro I hate not watching for 3 days n come back but that means I can binge watch 😩
simulator flying looks like a whole type of pain in WT. think i'll stay away for my sanity
Ah yes, finally some good old suffering, keep it coming!
ive played a few hundred games in sb mostly in planes but i can relate to your strugle first time trying to fly in sim was a pain in the beginning but now its alright still playing on k/m. n a general tip for playing ground sim the gun sight is no longer in the barrel its where the actual gunner optic is. sorry for broke england lol
Tom's screaming was perfect hitting the planes!
i played simulator once.
I got killed by my teammates all the time.
10/10
More sim gameplay plz !! 😍
PART 2 NOW!
Sim + Tiger II Sla.16 is a great money making combo! (Only if you can get kills tho lol). Panther F is also good with the rangefinder
@@kylelyons1939 hahaha i feel you, iam german main but also i grind the US tech trre and enjoy it very much! Its always fun to see how most tanks struggle to pen my Super Pershing in a downtier match 😂😂
Honestly simulator battles are the bomb. It’s the only way I play air now. The wait for tanks is too long so I stick with RB.
Once u get the hang of it, it’s great
another peak comedy from Malzi
that one part where you forgor to put off bushes really got me 💀
It feels amazing seeing a busher suffering
Yes please part 2😊
The different BRs are always in rotation.. That's why it was only low tier.
But I'd love to see you play different BRs was fun to watch as always 👍🏻
Very funny seeing someone that don't play sim battles playing or the first time and figuring out the controls to fly a plane and the complicated that it is but also very funny.
Except when you enter a flat spin that you can not get out
Omg your first flight, yeeeeees, fly high king wowooowowo❤
i would advise using a controller (only for planes) and setting custom controlls and training flying goofing around and doing cas in custom battles
I NEED PART 2 ABSOLUTELY !!!! thats so funny
Don't feel bad about that 5-minute wait to get into a game, hell I get that when I am trying to get in a regular RB game most of the time But that was amusing Thanks for the Vid
Successfully taking off was one of the harder things to learn in sim lol, WWII planes have such high P factor and I was not expecting it
Next video idea: air sim (but change controls to relative instead of screen joystick lol). Love your content
NEED A PART 2
that was awesome
sim battles is such a niche game mode. takes like 6 minutes to find a match if you only play 1 region but its probably, in m opinion, the best way to play war thunder
the fucking takeoff man and the tom cruise clip way too funny and accurate too xD
If you want to be pro in simulator planes, you have to play thousands of dynamic campaign
Imagine trying to strafe a person for 3 minutes only to find out you killed your team by accident
Malzi, always put the flaps in take off and control ur plane whit q and e
watching you learn how to fly in sb was funny, but well done finally taking off lol
Now you can feel us sim players pain when some noob shoots at you after they crash into you and you die
Dat loader changes his seat pulling shell back from gun breech lmao
That last clip is so true the am1 any type and not take off it always leans to the left and the A-1H is even worse with a full payload
