I’m general, water in your water heater is less sanitary than from your cold tap. Full of weird sediment, never gets fully emptied or cleaned.. That’s why momma and recipes say to cook with cool tap even if you’re just about to heat it up anyways.
Am I missing something in this. It seems like both methods might keep plastic out of the water you drink, but it doesn't break down the plastic. Just clumps it and it stays in the environment. By the way, a modern distiller is about $90 still. Worth it if you have a CPAP.
Personaly I boil my tap water and then run the boiled water through a filter. After my boiled water cools I can see a film ontop. Filtering it removes said film
I have a water runoff area on my property. My neighbour’s land has tires somebody burried long ago - probably to combat erosion. Those tires now become exposed because the microplastics they release slow plant growth. I built a swale on my side. The water is pitch black after it rains. I add a chalk based flocculent and a few days later I pump the clear water over to my dam. But what to do with the trapped black shit? Next problem…
Soooo… kids don’t really like environmental science, and adults don’t like being spoken to like children so… know your audience or the channel will fail
I wonder how much heating the water to 50C, as in a domestic water heater, reduces the micro plastic. 🤔
Great to see you here Cody. I really appreciate you supporting smaller channels.

To quote the Martian: we're gonna have to science the shit out of this!

Great video, awesome concept for the channel, happy new subscriber
Thanks for the knowledge!
Good video, imma check out your other stuff for sure.
Science FTW!

I think she'll be alright.
They, they are nonbinary and this is only a small part of what they do. Good to see one of the videos getting some traction.
some of us aren’t so fragile to be this upset by their choice of tone of voice lol, some of us are here for the science part.
