About time.....I got tired of scrolling through YT & seeing 60 yr old men with massive DEDICATED home theater basements with expensive homes they brought 20 yrs ago 😂. Most 🇺🇸 live in the cities & apts.
hey budy! came back to tell you.... Upgrade is complete. I got the Denon 3800, the Martin Logan F2 series, and Martin Logans all around, I just had to get the Motion C10, center channel with woven fiberglass cone woofers because you just dont cheap out on your center channel, except for the highs, I used the bose satillite speakers I had and they hold up very nicely. Once I compared ML with Klipsch.... Martin Logan's are so detailed in their sound definition.... wow! it was a done deal! Also added 2 SVS 1000 series subs and wow! I went from a 5.1 to 5.2.4. I treated the walls with some absorption, not a lot. I also added the Nvidia Shield and what a game changer. I added a keyboard and mouse and am able to play my one and only fave game "Hitman". The Dolby Vision in this thing is so noticeable! It is so immersive, its overwhelming! Went over budget but it is so worth it. Today I get to add the seat rocker I ordered, 300 watts.
Great setup! Some theater feedback. You want your LEFT and Right Towers equal distance from each other and your main listenning position. this is called the Triangle Rule for speakers. That way you can put your sub on the other side of the right tower speaker. Your placement of your rears is way less important as your front sound stage since very minimal sound is played thru them during a movie or show. I have heard some fantastic 3.1 setups that I preferred over 5.1.4 or 7.2.4 like I have in my dedicated theater. I would put some acoustic foam or rubber acoustic feet on your center channel and get it off that glass shelf. that glass is vibrating for sure when playing movies/shows. Great setup! a few tweaks and it will be even better! Also invest in a SPL meter and level match all your speakers.
I love near-field HT. This is more like near-field to mid-field but still. Kudos for you for using on-wall/on-ceiling height speakers at the 30 degree angle. Such a friggin cool setup. I love it. Even sounded great through YT! Also, I would recommend spacing your L+R further out and still facing the MLP. Maybe even getting that left channel on the left side of your shoe rack and pushing your shoe rack up to the HT console and then mimicking the same movement in your right channel to match. Don't you just love unsolicited advice?? haha. Couldn't help it. I'm a fanatic as well.
Thanks for the advice, I’m going to have to do just that very soon. I’m about to purchase the lg C3 77 inch so it on my list. I try to save one move at a time to make more content. But thanks again keep the advice better it will only make me better!
When that car exploded felt it. Mad setup 😊. Look into getting a buttkicker for home theater. Looking to buy the new version. Old one is good but it cuts off when it over heats.
As your new best friend from Australia. Please let me know when you get your new home. I'll bring the pizza and the beer, and then we can do a Star Wars binge fest.
To be honest the seating distance versus screen size is subjective, it's more of a preference. I'm sitting around 9' to 10' away from my 85" Sony TV and 120" projector screen.
Very true indeed. Let me correct my self by saying I’d rather have my 83 inch G3 and my 4K projector once I have my dedication man cave/ home set up. That way I can be as creative as possible with things.
@BodyBySteve Nice! I hope you get a great man cave. You obviously know what you are doing. I am sure that you will have fun setting it up. Enjoy your AV Journey!
Same as you when it comes to the consoles. Got my ps5 and Xbox one x. Love your set up my space is quite small too. Got the 4 atmos too but I got my speakers hooked on the ceiling. P.s i think your tv is too high up. Meant to be eye level with middle of the screen. Please don't take offense just trying to advise as I used to have my tv way up like that when I lowered it, it was a lot better.
Yeah I want to do that with my height speakers as well does it sound better? What brand do you have and is in on the ceiling or hanging height sort of. And I agree with you as well I’m getting a 77 inch soon and in order to clear my front stage I’ll have to put it about that high as well.
Thank you for sharing bro I also have Klipsch speakers question on your Center channel is that the 504c I was thinking of getting the 504c I wasn't sure if my ankle 7100 would be able to push it
@@neomatrix2722 it’s actually the 404c it’s still a beast. To be honest it will sound good but I recently brought an OSD 5 channel amp and boy does it bring the center to life. I would say it sounds good with out the amp as well you just have the turn the center channel up a tad more after running your EQ. After all the avr will only be given it about what 75 - 90 max with all channels driven which still is good. all in all go for it, your center will sound more present and widespread
@StevetheTechBro thank you for the quick reply my only wish my Anoka 7100 had amp Oates which it does not building a home theater is a learning experience I'm not sure I'd be able to power that Beast
when you get your home I can't stress this enough get rid of that AV receiver get a preamp and a amplifier and it's nice that you put your height speakers up high on the wall not on the ceiling people will argue this over and over but height speakers for Dolby Atmos is way better than in the ceiling because if you know anything about speaker imaging you're going to direct that imaging directly toward the floor with ceiling speakers . Stay with height speakers as far up on the walls you can get . The only time you should use ceiling speakers for a Dolby Atmos system is if you have a ceiling that's like 20 ft high . Also if it's in your means I would seriously upgrade to a projector .
Fronts could use more separation. For home theater you should have a minimum of 7 ft separation but ideally the same distance from the screen to your MLP. You should also have your towers a minimum of 1 ft away from any surface such as the back wall, TV stand etc, speakers need breathing room and it makes a big difference in sound quality. Also your subwoofer placement probably isn't ideal as up front next to the towers is typically not where you'll get the best room response even though it looks the best. I'm sure you're familiar with the subwoofer crawl method, I would definitely recommend that. Also you should have some feet on your center, it looks like you just have it sitting on the glass shelf which is a terrible idea. It needs to be isolated from the surface. Nice setup though.
@@StevetheTechBro No problem! Just search "subwoofer crawl method". Essentially what you do is put your subwoofer on your sofa where you usually sit when you watch movies. Then you RUclips "bass sweep test" and play the sweep while you crawl around with your head at the level that your subwoofer is at when it sits on the ground. I don't actually crawl around, I just play the sweep with my head at floor level in all of the various places that I could put the subwoofer. Wherever the bass sounds the best while you do this is where you want to put your subwoofer. It will make a gigantic difference-You're going to be blown away! Let me know how it works out for you.
I dont know what to do, I am trying to figure out how important is atmos for me.... My designated area is also very small and honestly, I feel I can do with out atmos. Right now I have 5.1, am upgrating to the 8060 series klipsch . A/V supports 7.2. no atmos. I honestly do not want to get another A/V. I am considering using the other two sides I dont plan to use as cealing.... your thoughts?
I can honestly say do what’s best for your home theater. If Atmos isn’t important to you right now that’s perfectly fine. In the end you happy to be happy with your sound. I say get it when you’re ready no rush Atmos isn’t going any where just yet. There’s plenty of 7.2 even 5.2 avrs that sound great without Atmos. And when you’re ready to get a new receiver just make sure it’s future proof and has all the bell and whistles. Thanks for watching my channel, and I’m always happy to give feedback back thanks!

Hey how are you? thanks for taking the time out to explain your set up. To be honest I may need to see a picture of your set up to give the best option. I’m more of a visual learner.
After reading it again I understand what your talking about. If I understood you correctly you’re using your A135 as your center speakers now? But you said you’re also willing to use a tower speaker as a center correct. If so why can’t you take you A135 speakers and put them as your center under your screen and just build a shelf? And keep the other speakers in their place and use them as your front left and right and the other as you surround back.
I like looking at stuff I can actually afford like this system. There is another home theater channel but them systems are in the 10's of thousands of dollars, even more. @@StevetheTechBro 💯💪🏽! It’s worth it ! High quality amplifiers! Crispy clean sound ! I still love blu ray movies as well lol
Nice use of the smaller space. I can picture playing Xbox nice and cozy

About time.....I got tired of scrolling through YT & seeing 60 yr old men with massive DEDICATED home theater basements with expensive homes they brought 20 yrs ago 😂. Most 🇺🇸 live in the cities & apts.
Awesome system!!! I love the enthusiasm breaking down your system setup. You gotta do an audio reviews in the future and build your channel.😉👍🏽
hey budy! came back to tell you....
Dude you have to post your set up it sounds awesome! The upgrades sounds amazing I can’t wait to see them!
@@StevetheTechBro Do u have facebook? I dont do any uploading to youtube. I wish you lived in tampa, we can learn from each other.
Much appreciated I’ll look into all those things especially for when I move to my dedication home space.
A very nice home Theater.
Yeah those things are awesome. They really change the overall experience of the movie thanks.
great setup sounds awesome even through youtube, i have a small room but still manage 110 inch projector screen and 7.4.2 setup
Yeah I’m about to update grade to an 77 inch C3 at some point this year.
Nice setup bro
Nice video. I remember back in the day in an apartment how my system sounded.
My aim is to get this home and be on your level some day respect ✊🏾
It takes time. You have to get your bricks first as that is the priority.
Love the setup man
Thanks
Man a quiet place part 2 has amazing ambience and atmospheric sound in that movie
hey man nice set up it looks good, I got a Klipsch set up also thumbs up from Winnipeg Manitoba
Thanks man much appreciated!
As your new best friend from Australia. Please let me know when you get your new home. I'll bring the pizza and the beer, and then we can do a Star Wars binge fest.
@@rikkidee you have a deal my friend!
Nice set up..
To be honest the seating distance versus screen size is subjective, it's more of a preference. I'm sitting around 9' to 10' away from my 85" Sony TV and 120" projector screen.
I do the same thing. I just wrote a similar comment.
Enjoy your Home Theater 😊
@@JesusSavesSinners Thank you, and you as well. 👍
Very true indeed. Let me correct my self by saying I’d rather have my 83 inch G3 and my 4K projector once I have my dedication man cave/ home set up. That way I can be as creative as possible with things.
@@StevetheTechBro 👍
What are you using for a TV stand? Is it a separate piece from the rest of the entertainment center or is it all one piece?
If your talking about what I have the center channel on. I brought two laptop raisers to lift the center channel to my listening ear.
Super Nice!!
Where's the Nvidia Shield Bruh? Sweet system!
I was thinking about getting one but I use plex on my Xbox so i had no need to get it. Because outside of plex I use my Apple TV for everything else
Wow nice setup!!! I heard you’re a Bucs fan!!!!
You already know Tampa bay, every one thought it was over after Brady lol!
@StevetheTechBro thank you for the quick reply my only wish my Anoka 7100 had amp Oates which it does not building a home theater is a learning experience I'm not sure I'd be able to power that Beast
thanks bro stay safe.......👍👍👍
when you get your home I can't stress this enough get rid of that AV receiver get a preamp and a amplifier and it's nice that you put your height speakers up high on the wall not on the ceiling people will argue this over and over but height speakers for Dolby Atmos is way better than in the ceiling because if you know anything about speaker imaging you're going to direct that imaging directly toward the floor with ceiling speakers . Stay with height speakers as far up on the walls you can get . The only time you should use ceiling speakers for a Dolby Atmos system is if you have a ceiling that's like 20 ft high . Also if it's in your means I would seriously upgrade to a projector .
Thanks for the advice I’m going to keep that all in mind. Honestly everything you said was correct an in my mind to do for the future lol
Care to show us how you have stuff hooked up? Like the connections between your Blu-ray and consoles and TV etc.
your neighbors are probably like wtf lol
Yeah man lol I lucked up there she’s pretty chill about it.
Nice
Thanks for all of your recommendations. I’ll be sure to correct them all once I get my home when I have the space to do all of those things
Nice set up! Where did you get those atmos and klipsch signs from? I definitely want those
I got them off of Etsy
Hey what's up! Great video and it's good to see people maximize there space. I was wondering, where do you get your home theater signs from?

Hi, I have 2 jbl stage A135c center speakers vertical on the wall each side my tv. I also have 3 floor standing speakers in 3 corners, front left front right and back left corner.. I have 2 subs and 2 bookshelf.. my avr reciever denon AVR-X1700H.. I cannot have 1 center speaker above or below my tv so I need help trying to set these up best way possible.. I was thinking about using the back left or front right floorstanding speakers jbl stage A190 as a center? And use surround L/R for both my jbl A135c center speakers. Do you have any suggestions that may help
Nice, setup... Keep a Eye on ur wallet - lol... Upgrades can kill it....
Tell me about it 😂😂😂😂!
wait what is that center?? you said RP-44C?? Never heard of that model. Did you mean 440C or 450C?>
I said the 404C
Where did u get ur Dolby signs?
Do to Lowe’s and get u some inexpensive wall wire hiders, that stick onto ur wall and hides ur wires. Wires out like that look tanks.

I like looking at stuff I can actually afford like this system. There is another home theater channel but them systems are in the 10's of thousands of dollars, even more. They are pretty to look at but so unattainable for me. And then you have the guys that spend thousands just on speaker wire. Like it's just copper man. Or was it dipped in pixie dust?
