Love making my own DJ Edits & posting them online for other DJs to play in sets
No greater feeling 🔥
Greatest invention to add to a DJs resource!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥
Aaaahhhhhweeesomeeeee!! So happy I supported Serato Studio from the Beta days! This is a game changer!
So stoked to have you here with us!
this is a fantastic and concise set of tutorials for exactly what Serato Studio's strengths are. Thank you for doing this.
Glad to hear this!
Fire!
Thank you Serato.
🔥
this is awesome!
Now you got my attention. Bravo Serato!
❤️
U are a good teacher bro... now I have something new to learn
Bravo!!!!
This is a dope addition
It sure is.
Cool vid🔥
Dude I literally spent a little more than 4 hours in Ableton last Sunday making a harder kick onto a classic rock track mimicking it's original feel and sound which was inconsistent in tempo and pattern changes throughout. My time was spent on drawing in kick with each one having different velocities to recreate near original feel. I like owning all my programs and I get where Serato is going with this, Op showed the simplicity side of editing maybe I might give it another try one day.
It can be really frustrating! This is the perfect feature for adding some personal flair to tracks in your DJ set. Keen to see how you get on 👊
Think it's now time to get into production! Great software to make a start.
Absolutely! Keen to see how you go.
I just cried!
Thanks very helpful I like the videos of this presenter just good info no joking around or showing off

Whats the background song playing in the vid? It's so groovy
Nice.
Love Serato studio- however the tutorial moves way to quick for us to follow along and doesn't fully explain.
Waaaaaaaaay too quick if your not familiar
Yeah i got bits of it but even some of the language it was kinda hard to follow but im learning 😂
Been a big fan of Serato since 2006, got Ableton but wanted something quick and easy for DJ edits - have to say I'm disappointed that the videos don't represent the user experience - this one suggests to drag a song to an empty space to add it but mine won't let me drag any tunes to the song view; plus the Digital DJ Tips tutorial says that when creating something new you get a choice between new DJ Edit and Beat, I don't get these options either! So it may be simple but the videos need to match the user experience - if this changes due to version updates etc then make sure this is clear to the user. Think I'll go back to Ableton!
Hi David, sorry to hear about your experience. Please email us at support@serato.com and we'll happily help you out. Cheers.
Is there a solution for this?
Please, we need more beginner tutorials because I think the serato Studio audience is just starting people. How to create multiple genres step by step the easy Way.
Awesome suggestion! We understand how this would be great content to offer our users. In the meantime you can check out the below video on making a Trap beat using the concert hall pack.

Is the down beat detection better in studio than in dj pro? In pro, it can’t seem to tell the difference between a voice or kick when setting beatgrids when analyzing.
how about editing songs with drifting tempos ie old school funk and/or rock n roll ? audio files is a game changer for sure !
Hey, great video man. This may be a rudimentary question but would be great if someone can help. I'm currently using serato studio to do sound designing but hit a wall. There's no immediate feature to fade out audio clips. Could anyone help me out?
How do you know the actual volume of the track when you’re adding that compression on the master? Like if it’s too loud or too wiiet
please keep these tutorials coming
Glad you're enjoying it them
Hey I have a paid subscription of serato studio. But watching your tutorials the language is something that I don't understand. what is truncate to four bars how do I see four bars. Look I am very new to this studio stuff help me understand what you are doing
yha but which version of serato is this? is it the beta cos mine doesnt do that drag and drop feature
Is it possible to make "clean versions" of our tracks using Serato Studio with using effects like the tape stop and reverse?
Hi there, Serato Studio doesn't allow you to automate FX on audio tracks, which means making clean versions of tracks isn't possible yet. Hopefully we can add this ability in a future release. Thanks.
I Don't have eq parameters in practice mode in SERATO DJ PRO IN which release it has been Added?
You will need Serato play expansion pack in order to have EQ parameters show. You can purchase this pack at serato.com
Its about to get real
It sure is.
@@SeratoHQ GIVE US CHORDS AT THE PRESS OF A BUTTON
@@SeratoHQ please give us cord mode and some of the same features the SP 404 has. Btw 1.4.1 was cool but I really wish we had in overview video thanks for taking the time to listen
Do i need midi keyboard? Or can I use it with my serato mixer?
You can find all of the hardware Serato Studio supports at the link below.

Still having trouble shorten/slicing a track without messing up the beats/sync - tried it with quantize on and off. Also the key locked all tracks to the same key - some mashups sound like chipmunks - can't find a way to turn it off.
Hi Pablo, send us an email to support@serato.com and our team will help you out. Thanks.
Do you need a controller to use Serato Studio?
Nope! You can use it without hardware
How can you fade out the whole scene ?
We recommend automating the volume of of each instrument/drum/sample in your scene which will allow for a fade out effect. Thanks.
Way too fast to keep up. Especially for someone who is new to Serato Studio or making edits/beats. Also, could definitely explain a little more in detail.
How you drag and drop in the song view??? I cant do it in windows!!!
Please send us an email and we will help you out. support@serato.com
It’s not allowing me to drag and drop the song once I slide it over to song view, also the endless slicer doesn’t come up as an option, can anyone explain? Thanks!
Hey there, send us an email at support@serato.com and we can help you with your questions.
@@SeratoHQ it would be really informative to other users if you could actually explain here in the comments how to solve the problems anyone faces. Otherwise youre constantly answering private emails and aiding no=0ne else in the process. Makes no sense
Bro do you think you could help me on making beats because I love making music and I will love to become a producer somedays
Can you isolate vocals from a song
You cannot I'm afraid
this drum kit is not in my program
What's the song in the background? 🔥🔥🔥🔥👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Why when I drag the song to the song view tab, the song doesn't stay there?
Send us an email and our team will try find you a solution. Thank you.
Dragging it to song view doesn’t do anything
Sorry to hear this - please email us at support@serato.com and we can help you out :)
I can't even get into it, without it saying lost files 0/5 star review.

Great apart from the horrible music you worked your magic on.
Really frustrating tutorial. Races through it and doesn't explain most of what he's doing.
Feel free to ask us more questions via email support@serato.com :)
I think serato studio is awesome for music production but I had to cancel I have enough subscription sorry but that's where they lost me
