We need a Serato Studio controller that is made specifically Serato Studio! Something like an MPC or Maschine controller that allows you to do everything on the controller without having to look at the computer screen or mess with the computer keyboard.
That would be very cool!
ijm 809 there are plenty dedicated controllers, your serato decks lol I think that’s the whole point of serato studio.

we need support for midi clocks and drum machines, so you can plug in synths and drum machines then send midi out to them and be able to record back in
Lost Belongings what? you stem out your project then mix it with your serato supported decks into serato dj pro. Don’t over complicate things.

Please...if anyone else found this video confusing, please post so I don't feel stupid. I came with just a familiarity with Serato Studio to learn how to use it with me Mixars Primo. I'm terribly sorry but now I know what it will do, but have no idea how I can do it after watching this. I don't seek to change the way these videos are made, but if someone else has the same experience I'll have the motivation to continue. Otherwise, Serato Studio is going to wind up in the trash and I'm going back to Ableton 10.
Can anyone help me out. I have an akai mpk mini. I can use the pads but the knobs and assigning then doesn’t work (like filter to filter)

While MIDI mapping is something we'd definitely love to look into, this is currently not a feature within Serato Studio I'm afraid.

Currently no Rane product is supported by Serato Studio.Serato has promised a new wave of supported hardware about a year now,even though I do believe they are working on it lately they've been silent about it so most likely this "new support wave" will be delayed. Hopefully the reason of the delay is because the new support list is quite ambitious and hefty.
You can find the supported hardware devices on their site and various discussions about such subjects in their dedicated forum.
The Ddj xp2 would be perfect hardware for serato studio. Why isn’t it compatible?

Hey so I have a Numark Mixtrack Pro 3, and I am having trouble using the pads. The bottom pads work, but they take the place of the top one. So the bottom row plays 1,2,3,4 and the top row doesn’t do anything

Yes you want to record a scratch while the track is playing get software like abelton live This damn stuff is confusing to me

Hey! The DJM-S7 is not officially mapped for Serato Studio, so we can't promise that they will, but it's likely that the pads will still work.

Is the rane 70 mixer supported please?
Will older dj controllers be supported later on,like for example numark ns7 fx,but regardless will older units in general that were compatible with serato dj be with studio too?

Sure - all other third-party non Serato-compatible MIDI devices should work with Serato Studio, however mapping may differ between third-party devices.

Can you use a midi controller?
Absolutely. I've used three different midi controllers so far (Akai Advance, CTRL49, & Keystation MINI32) with no problems.
is the ddj 200 compatible?
You could use this device as a generic MIDI device, but most features of the hardware will not interact with the software.

Does it work with denon prime4?
Hi there, you will need to map Serato Studio to your Denon Prime 4 device as it's not an officially supported device for Serato Studio.
