With time phrasing becomes second nature and you can just "feel" it, there's a conclusion at the end of phrases, sometimes a fill - little things to look out for
this is a good idea by serato, but i really wish it was a $125 one time charge and like video games (if you want) you can get bonus paks for $9.99 if you want to add new drum kits or bass. That will be awesome,
Get out of that way of thinking. DLC's are the bane of video game industry. Why pay for a product and then pay extra for things that should already be in it? Look at the entire cost of Train Simulator on Steam.
Great tutorial! Easy to understand. A question though, can you please explain how to make say a 2 bar Intro (just drum beats) before the song actually begins and an Outro at the end of the song (just drum beats) for a DJ to mix out? Thank you.
Try adding the two bars at the start with a drum loop from the Make Beat dropdown :) then have the track that you want in there, and then towards the end add another two bars using the drum loop that you used for the two bar intro.
so do you have to save a new file, or is it like flip the file is just instructions from the source file. that would be a game changer for me, no need to export to new file. hope you understood my question
@@digitaldjtips ok. This is still new to me. But based on what I have researched, this one looks more user friendly than most other because of the serato format. Has that been your experience?
It's definitely user friendly but it's also nowhere near as featured as most DAW's, it's more like a beat making software - you're not going to make a track start to finish in this like you would Ableton for example. It's great for making quick edits and that sort of thing (which DJs do a lot)
You have to set cue points for every 8 bars yes, but he could have just copied the section and turned off the previous cue point and activated the new one.
Great video. Serato made a good move allowing DJs to be more creative
Excellent video. Can't wait to try Serato Studio for myself. More of the same please.
Thanks! We'll see what we can do :)
How did you know where each 8 beat section started so quickly? I use serato studio and have to go back and forth to try and figure it out?

It's not like flip you will need to export it as a new file
Great tutorial video - Serato Studio recently added @Ozone9Elements as a plug in. Do you have a video on how to use it with Serato Studio?
Not yet but thanks for the heads up!
They may have to ditch the subscription model. That will hurt sales.
They are providing new content monthly.
Where can i get tht program
What are reruns in music . please explain
We assume you mean "Redrums"? If so watch the video and it'll be revealed :)
What's the separation between serato sample, and serato studio???
Serato Studio is a basically a stripped back mini DAW

So you have to do this for every 8 bar. This will get old fast

Don't you need to mix the drums after it? EQ, Compression, etc..
This is a real basic tutorial, that stuff would take a lot of time to cover so best in a different tutorial :)
