Thanks for this info. I'm also working on this too. I'm currently doing my business analyst training with Tritek, almost wrapping up the work experience project. I just want to ask, what band is the NHS role you got... And also, how many applications/interviews did you have to go through before you got your offer. Thanks
Hi, thanks for tuning in 😊 and happy you are moving in the right direction already. To answer your question- Got a band 7, applied for a band 5/6 a year before didn’t get it. Did one application and interview to get the job. Aside doing training I worked as a BA for 2 plus years before NHS. I hope this helps.
Hello, First, you need to thoroughly read the job descriptions, focusing on both the essential and desirable criteria. These criteria form the foundation of your statement. Civil Service jobs also have specific required behaviors for each role, so make sure you're familiar with them. Depending on the job level (e.g., EO, HEO), there's a link provided with examples of expected performance. Review these carefully. The key is not just to meet expectations but to provide examples that exceed them-this will give you a competitive edge. It's a straightforward process but requires strategy. I can’t cover everything in a chat, but let me know if you’d like me to explain further through a RUclips video. I’d be happy to create one for you.
