As far as the Zoltun Kulle chest, it opens at whatever level you are. Thus, if you leave it, complete the bounties, level to 18, and come back, there's a chance at finding diamonds, without having to recreate the game and find bosses later.
I've returned to D3 after several years. I wish I'd had these videos around when I first started playing, cause back then the highest level I ever managed to reach was 50. But I've learned so much from watching your videos Filthy. I finally managed to get a character to level 70 (an Autobomb Crusader) and I was able to complete a GR85 before the season ended. So I'm really looking forward to the new season. I just need to decide which class to play this time :P As for your question, I think I prefer this condensed format with all the fluff cut out. The most important parts (for me at least) are your skill selections, gear (especially the crafting) and how you handle those tough mobs. Your hints and tips are also priceless (like salvaging your follower's weapons to get enough reusable parts to unlock the Altar).
It's hilarious, I'm in season 32 starting a character and it took about 9 tries to defeat Zoltan. After that, the next part of the bounty I got a Soul Harvest at level 5. Needless to say, I didn't need to steal the enchanter weapon. Let's hope the wizard has such luck.
If you've got higher damage than normal, don't sleep on wave of force for clearing groups of trash mobs (while you have ray of frost which ofc is single target), it's surprising how much damage it can do :)

Any tips on starting with WD if we don't want to pay for the Necro? The best way I've found is literally snapshotting the entirety of all 5 bounties, including level 2 caves, popping cursed chests, etc. It takes a while longer but WD just doesn't have enough power that early to do them efficiently.
The other option is to ignore the T1 bounty and get to level 18/diamonds and just train haedrig as high as you can. Then do visions on T1 with a 50 weapon at level 20 and get your DB from there. You will also stugglr for gold though
You can offcourse just use your challenge rift bag and get the L18diamonds craft 70gear and popoff. Since they nerved the alter the points you get after sacrificing the challenge rift bag is not so strong anymore. I would argue they only add bigger value when you really pushing high GR’s. And offcourse if you have less than 24h to play the weekend i also think just use your bag too.
IMO do not save the challenge Cache it's way easier to level, All these try hards season lasts about 3 months so there will be plenty more chances at a challenge cache.
If you plan to play upwards of 8-10+ hours over the weekend before the challenge rift resets on monday night then you're better off saving your challenge bag for altar.
haven't played in a while, how come he can make a lvl 70 weapon that's useable at lvl 1? From what i remember the earliest you can use it is at 40 if you have -30 lvl requirement on it.
Ohh please get out paladin and or necro guide!!! Also whats everyones thoughts on leveling an alt to speed farm cache and bountys, Demon hunter? Or do you just use 1 character only?

Witch Doctor is your second best best at T1 bounties but it will be much harder than Necro. You can always play the class you wish to start and unlock the Altar that way, it's just slower and you will need to do some visions of enmity to get the Death Breath you need. Good luck
is it even worth playing for those of us on console this coming season ?? leaderboards are hacked to shit with people having three sockets on any or all items with soul shards, ethereals and stupid bonuses like 10000 int or dex etc
I don't bother looking at the leader boards on console any more. I used to check out the strong builds but there's no point now. Instead I play against my previous performances like finding faster leveling techniques, getting to GR90 faster or playing the season without Haedrig's Gifts. Just trying new builds engages me for a long time. If serious competition is your thing, then I guess you need a PC.
@@tribaltalker1608 it’s not the competition, it’s the motivation, I enjoy playing the game and probably will play the season but not sure how long for, last season was about three days before I got bored, I tend to get to my limit and once I get there I push a bit until I know I can’t get any higher ( granted by this point I’ve normally played enough to be fully kit out with primal gear and augments of at least 125 lvl, last season I only had two or three before I stopped playing ), when it gets to the point where the only way I can get higher is by farming up paragon it starts getting difficult to maintain motivation especially since the alter of rites season where I cleared 150 before being paragon 800, I have also noticed that this coming season theme will not benefit my character of choice, that being the wizard, UNLESS using the orb of infinite depth ( I think ) could provide a better defensive buff than halo of karini .. though even if it can, the damage buff would be reduced as RoRg does not provide as much of an attack boost as the halo itself

@schitzy the Asia server is way ahead of eu and us, so the season starts earlier there. For me, i play on eu at 8 am my pst time, then swap to na at 5pm, cause eu is ahead. Let's you practice etc before it comes online for your region

I think just get the cube with the Necro on T1 and maybe do another bounty if needed. As someone pointed out, if you do the boss last, you might get the diamonds to drop but it also probably makes the bounty runs a little harder as likely to get gear off the boss
Peoppe still play this old outdated dead game? Play last epoch, D4 or PoE brother… they are all soo much better then this and actually being worked on.. this game is on its final decent to nowhere..

If you do a couple of visions on low torments you'll have enough materials for all lv 70 armor

for many people the season only lasts 48 hours. Gotta get it all done within the first weekend😂

The Altar of rites is now permanent and once you unlock node 2 of it, items have no level requirement. It's all in this play through for you :-)

The DH is pretty rough one to 70. You’re better off saying on the necromancer until you get at least 25 death breast and then move on to DH.
I'm going to do a Necro playthrough and get the DH set as an example on Season launch, so will have that up Friday before EU and US servers go live

Yes but with reduced power. All the quality of life features are still present but it now adds 1-2 GR Tiers rather than 5-6
