Even if it were boring - not to me - you would still deserve praise for the time and effort put in to this. You are helping to improve the knowledge of the airgun community as a whole, and that's a great thing! 😁
thank you and thanks for watching 😁
Thanks for taking the time to test, film and edit a very interesting segment.
thanks for watching 😁
It actually was interesting. Not that I'd personally have any use of the info (right now at least), but it surely did not get boring.
Thank you so very much for this one! 👍🏻
thank you and thanks for watching 😁
Another excellent video relevant to me as I have the alpha wolf although it's FAC. Hadn't even considered the effect of a barrel clamp very interesting results from a test covering lots of parameters. Graphs illuminated the results clearly, really well done and clear presentation you are a star.
thank you and thanks for watching 😁
Do not do yourself down, it was very interesting. Some points I would make, is it better to use a Torque screwdriver for tightening? it would be my conclusion that the harmonics of the barrel are changing the same as when the weight is changed on the business end. More experiments come to mind I await with anticipation.
we was going to use a torque screwdriver but thought lots of people wouldn't have them so just went with the feel 😀thanks for watching 😁
@@sub12airgunners if you did use a torque screwdriver, what would you torque them too?
very interesting mate . quite a difference for sure and as always it’s the wobbly bit on the back that is a factor for sure . what has always surprised me about guns is how the same make and model of gun can be so different in its firing cycle and what it reacts to . excellent video
yes that gets me they are all different 🤔thanks for watching 😁
Thank you for investigating issues like these..🎉❤
thanks for watching 👍
Excellent video Jake and Co....even though now I am fighting with myself...the side that wants the most precision out of my Ghost vs the side that says $178 not incl shipping for the clamp is ridiculous...
Are you, can you do this same testing for the Ghost's Barrel Tension System? I have so many questions as to how that really-best should be "applied" to the barrel to get "tension"...One video tensions it against the barrel grub screw...another uses the 6 grub screws on the spacer....
Not sure how much tension you can apply against one inset grub screw or 6 digging into the surface of the. barrel....
thanks Jake!
Time well spent and interesting to watch, thanks
thanks for watching 😁
You are not lacking in desire, I have two and when I change it bothers me until I check the zero, at least you do not change the distance otherwise it would be total madness, greetings and have a good day
thanks for watching 😁
Excellent - So refreshing to see proper testing in an organised way. Now.. How about doing the same sort of test using a barrel tuner of some sort.
we are testing barrel weights at the moment so stay tuned 😁
Very interesting to see. I haven't seen a barrel clamp of that design that sits more towards the centre of the barrel. All the ones I have seen are a lot narrower and positioned more towards the muzzle end of the barrel.
yes it's a nice design and give a little improvement 👍
Your videos are always interesting always enjoy watching 👍
thank you and thanks for watching 😁
Very interesting ..... Thanks for spending the time doing this and thanks for posting this video
thanks for watching 😁
never ever boring !! 👍👍
thank you
6hrs! thats my shooting quoter for the year :-) :-) very interesting to see the difference, so not boring at all.....
😂😂
Excellent in-depth testing 👍
thanks for watching 😁
That's awesome great testing thanks for sharing be safe buddy 💯
thanks for watching 😁
Hmmmm, very interesting. Food for thought...
thanks for watching 😁
thank you !
You're welcome!
Thanks Jake, just what i wanted to know
thanks for watching 😁
Interesting test. Even more interesting would be to see this done on a FX airgun. I'm thinking the FX would benefit more because of their liner system.
we have done a bit with the fx guns but it seems that a solid barrel is the way to go with them in sub 12
Always love your videos buddy 😊
thanks for watching 😁
Cheers mate - very interesting.😊😊
thanks for watching 😁
i like your graphs
Interesting video.
I have a ghost WR .25 hp version. Im going to try it and see if I notice a difference.
Did you use a torque screwdriver to set the screws, or by feel?
just by feel 😁
Like others have said Jeff, im another one who found this very interesting, and have those with the same rifles some to think about, Thanks very much for sharing this with us, Iv just bought a fx Dreamline light compact, in .177, and was wondering if you new if a barrel clamp was made for it, Thanks again Cheers 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
thank you and thanks for watching 😁
We want Precihole sports px100x3 pcp review🙏👍 or tunning 🙏
It is now available in UK market
we are hoping to do some of there stuff
@@sub12airgunners waiting ⏳👍
can you test some FX products? like M3. try to make a clamp for it in the similar way. i was very curious that if the float barrel which they claimed good is true or not.
Another great video
thanks for watching 😁
Cool...👍🏻
thanks for watching 😁
where can i get a clamp from like the one in the video
Daystate sell them 😀
nice one 😁😁
Thanks 😁
Great vid as always how much would it cost to hire you for some custom work on one of my rifles
I can answer that one as I see lots of people at Petes Airgun Farm ask. They are basically too busy on testing and producing training video's to take on much private work. The chances are very slim. They have been offered quite large sums to take on small projects so I would not hold your breath. Its nothing personal, just a workload issue and they have loads of projects running or in the pipeline which prohibits them doing much else.
sorry we don't do work on peoples guns 😥 as pb1ut9rz8i says
Interesting
thanks for watching 😁
😊❤❤❤
thanks for watching 😁
Amazing the amount of money spend on a airgun.....get your fac and get either a .22 rimfire or a .17 hmr and stop messing around
Why?
I think that you might be viewing the wrong RUclips channel. This is purely for Airgun enthusiasts. We can spend as much or as little as we see fit.
