That's a great addition to the voyager series, always a fan of the Vaquero, this one raises the bar.

Great review.....Love the ending LOL no reason why test material can't be dinner. After watching this and several other reviews I picked this knife up. For decades I carried one of the first XL Clip point Voyagers to come out (So old it has the plastic clip) over the years I have had other Cold Steel knives and knives from other manufactures kind of forgot about the Voyager line. Well this new Kris is a joy to carry, light weight, strong and sharp.
    Thanks again for the review

Hey Guys always like your tests.
But maybe add some layers of cloth like an old Jeans or something would like to see the difference.

On duty, I carried an Ed Shemp Kris . When CS came out with the Kris, I purchased it. It really has surpassed my expectations. Thanks for the test.

The waves create a high pressure point similar to what serrations do

The only suggestion I have is audio. Even if you have to dub over it. I'm also kind of deaf though lol.

you think this thing is worth the large price increase over the other voyagers like the vaquero?

This is a purpose designed slicing machine! Vaquero only if you plan on rope cutting. Serrations will without doubt heighten the cutting performance of any blade let alone done properly like cold steel does. As a NEVER USE purpose scenario (like a gun) and keeping this strictly for EDC Self Defense YES! This is the more wild better option. You can however bet your bottom dollar that either of them fill the bill 👌perfectly because its not going to be everyday that your whipping out your defensive blade and slicing a human wide open sternum to groin with fat flying out. One solid cut would do this if you know how to use a knife. IMO. Cold steel makes bar none the best (LARGE) defensive folders on the market. I carry a ZT 0850 sprint run for normal daily jack-assing utility/food prep tasks.. and a concealed Cold Steel Black Talon II tucked in front inside waist band. Hope this helps. Have a nice day ✌!

I am about to sell a coat to buy a sword so to speak, so this or the vaquero? I live in Europe, they do charge a premium over here. Great vids btw.

If I were just to have one... I would go with the vaquero.

Хороший нож, правда с изменением курса рубля к доллару, дороговат в России.
