Thank you for this story line I am from Canada and in Jan 2023 I lost my godfather to Muscular dystrophy and I was in the hospital room when he passed and it was heartbreaking this was so well done you should get the highest award for this it just made me bawl right now
I’ve not watched corrie in a very long time but I’ve looked after someone with MND & it’s an awful illness, not just for the patient or their loved ones but for the person who’s taking care of them 💔
Broke my heart watching your final scene Pete you are one hell of a good actor and I will miss you hope everything you do in the future goes well for you and thankyou from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful coronation street role as Apollo/Paul much love and respect ❤😢😂😂
This was so emotional, I can't believe how real it felt! The way they portrayed the family’s pain was just spot on. Makes you appreciate every moment we have, right? 🥺💖
I can’t deal with this it’s so sad at the end it felt really weird listening to your normal voice because no one is used to hearing that beautiful voice because you lost your speech xxxxxx
Reminds me of the time I lost my grandfather. I was too scared to watch him slip away but I told him I loved him, never spoke a word for more than 10 hours, and it's still my biggest regret.
Omg the music made it more sadder Goodbye Paul you beautiful Person and Goodbye Pete Ash it's so emotional it brought tears to my eyes what hits hard is when he takes his last breath 😭🥺
i don’t think i’ve ever cried so hard at an episode before. this storyline has been done so well and everyone played their part so beautifully. amazing acting
Paul was my favorite character on Coronation Street. My heart broke watching this. Thank you so much, Peter, for making Paul such an awesome character. You will be so missed.😘😘😘😘

I’m in floods of tears every one did amazing acting and showing the real effects of illnesses coronation street will always be a fantastic programme shedding light on situations and realistic topics well done to everyone amazing acting and storyline. The part where Paul sadly passed away brought a lot of emotions back for me when I lost my Nan in 2012 she were surrounded by all her family just as Paul were 😢
Goodbye 👋 paul in coronation street we will miss u in coronation street now and good work to Peter ash for playing paul in coronation street as well by the way.
Brilliant!!!! But I’ve been watching this storyline right through then the Olympics put the episodes out of kilter here in New Zealand and being away I didn’t get to watch these, so I missed these two episodes bloody hell 😬Paul at the flat dying & this episode. Now I’m watching it on You Tube … thank god for You Tube 🙏🏾🙌😆
Aww I loved Paul and Billy, they were a lovely couple. Paul will be well missed. It won’t be the same without him. I love Billy too. I’m like a spiritual person and Billy is a role model. He makes an effort to be good and kind to people. I really admire his character.
As someone who lost their father in April, and had to go through this real life saying goodbye this hit me like a tone of bricks, what a storyline, played absolutely beautiful. Gonna miss Paul very much ❤
Oh my heart. I'm absolutely crying. This is the same kind of thing that is happening to my own mum. Credit to Coronation Street for shining a light on this ❤
That was so heart rendering. I always had a soft spot for Paul. The acting was so convincing. Well done team. It was a similar set up with my mum when she died in 2023. You are sort expecting what is to come but that real moment when it finally happens destroys the very core of you. That is exactly what happened in this Corrie scene. It was so realistic!
No other soap can do a storyline like this then they did,had me in tears as i had a very close relative with MND and it brought back memories.Huge amount of applause for all Actors taking part, they played their roles brilliantly!Bring on the soap awards!
I will miss seeing paul on screen he really inspired me to be myswlf🥺😭 this made me cry so many times today because it reminds me of how i lost 2 of my family members and 1 of them i didnt get to say goodbye whilst watching the other die🥺😭 and its so heartbreaking
Peter Ash (Who plays Paul) did a fantastic job with the MND Storyline on Coronation Street in an effort to raise awareness, something that has been done on a soap before. MND is a cruel horrible life-changing terminal illness. Wish Peter Ash all the best for his future post-Corrie projects 👏
'This isn't goodbye, it's just see you later.' Love that.
After all Paul and Billy went through, it was incredibly unfair not to let him say goodbye
Thats what i thought too. Im disappointed the writers allowed him to miss his final goodbye.
Peter Ash is such a brilliant actor. Rest in peace Paul. One of my favourite characters ❤️💔
Did this episode had sad ending

Love for you on Corrie from Canada.
That is the most heartwarming way to die after a battle against MND I know it’s not real but you guys have made it real. That is brilliant

This was done excellently 😢
Rip Paul 😭😭😭
Could someone please tell me the music they play during this scene? Piano & violin, just beautifully perfect for this emotional moment😢
Think it was instrumental
Why are people calling the actor Paul? He's called Peter Ash. The character is called Paul
Probably referring to the character, not sure though.
Maybe not everyone knows the actor's real name. Why moaning about it?
Not everyone are aware of the actors name but their character's name.
So sad 😢😢
Peter ash great actor.rest in peace Paul..this isn't goodbye.its just see you later.farwell son.brother.uncle and husband.🙏🙏
