I think it's worth adding that the RC racer is also the only variant with boost.

Good point, I forgot about that. It does speed it up a bit, especially for jumps.

I have put laser weapons on the tr and it works great. No limited ammo.

Hmm it was working last patch. Perhaps they don't now. Haven't played much 3.19 so maybe it's not working now. We did it that way for years though.
