    « Omsk ! »
That makes me laugh every time Misha Auer tells his birth place : just one word told by the right actor at the right moment, this is Capra’s genius.

Love seeing Edward Arnold in these late 30's and 40's movies where he's such a stuffed shirt alpha male, because I've also seen Arnold in a bunch of comedy shorts and he was hilarious. Gifted, often ignored actor.

You are spot on in your analysis and thank you for it. I only recently saw this movie less than a year ago. Ironically, when I was in my last year of school before going to a university, I tried out & was selected for this play but didn't do it because it interfered with my job. I should have done it

Thank you :) Bummer you didn't do the play back then though.

We both love the same movies and director as our favorite, which makes us blood brothers. Therefore I love you, even though you're some kind of... foreigner and you sort of remind me of the guy who's face melted when the Ark Of The Covenant was opened in Raiders of the Lost Ark

My all time favorite movie is Stranger Than Fiction. Yes, the Will Ferrell one. It's the ultimate fight for somebodies soul between the devil and god. The writer is god. Writimg people lives, what they will do and even how they die, buy god is not truly aware of human nature. The professor is the devil. Going against the rules, living live as you want. That's my interpretation. I would love to know what you think about it.

It's one of those glaring blind spots for me... Unfortunately I haven't seen it yet. But your interpretation sounds very intriguing.
