Wow I was there at that match because I can remember us clapping Gary Pierce as he can on towards us in the second half and he was clapping us back with a genuine smile that showed he was pleased to see us again. Then when we started to sing 'Wembley 74' he turned round with a big smile sticking his thumbs up towards us. As we were leaving the ground I remember the police having to do there upmost to stop the home fans getting at us. Now 33 years later I realise why-the Leeds game had been cancelled so there were Leeds fans mixed in, that's why it was so vicious. Me and my mate couldn't get to the coach quick enough! My God of all the matches. I did not know it was even televised. Nice one for posting this my friend.

Love the kits both clubs are wearing. Classic Umbro.

I was one of the Wolves fans behind the goal that day, I was going to games less by then but went to Barnsley just to visit another new ground.. Barnsley and ex-Wolves keeper Gary Pierce got well clapped by us as he came over for the second half. "Wembley Wembley 74"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We usually had a go at our ex-players but not him! I had got a bit paranoid about the OB at football that time after the West Midlands Police were out of order with Wolves Fans at Villa 2 weeks earlier, but the Barnsley Police were fine.
