Making Chevy's dime a dozen Cavalier into a rwd V8 manual trans machine was a bold commendable move. Congrats on all the work it took to pull this off. I love unexpected automobiles.
I have a 96 Cav coupe body transplanted onto a C5 Corvette frame, complete with drive train, suspension and everything else. Had to move body 6” back to make the door opening fit the frame. Now working on fender flares and various weatherproofing panels.
Fukkin awesome, this is what I want to do to a 99 . I've had a v8 swapped s10 and would love to LS swap a mini me (mini camaro) I've seen a v8 swap 05 at a car show but she was kept fwd and I'd prefer your rwd set up. I love Cavi's but I've kept all mine stock under the hood,I've always liked v8 swapped 1st and 2nd Gen s10s and ASTRO vans as that's what my dad did. Although I've watched v8 cavis at nhra events in pro stock and other classes I had never thought about building one to drive but I'm 5.3 LS swapping my 06 rt magnum wagon
Know the vid's 2y+, but have a 97 cavalier just sitting in garage and hunting for sleeper swap outs instead of junkies (too reliable minus clutch/PS lines). Thoughts?
When you stop next to me at a traffic light and you hear the high compression v8 rough idle and you see the 4000$ brake kit through the 18" wheel, you know that you'll see the tail light.
This makes me moist. I have an 88 z24 square body I wanna do this to. The OG z24 before chev said 4 bangers were enough. How much work was it? Do you have any vids about the swap or anything?
@@thewotguy6424 I have a Cobalt shell sitting around, I been wanting to make a project build, I'm stuck between a 383 stroker rwd build and a k24 fwd build. How is the rear end and everything built? I thought maybe tube chassis subframe or possibly the back of a s10 frame with 9" rear end
Ye plaquer artisanal ou? Tu peut tu rouler avec sans souci? Ca tu ete compliqué? Pcq je cherche a savoir si éventuellement je pourait faite quelque chose du genre mais avec un z24 89’
I'd like to get a blue 94 cavalier coup like I had in high school and trick it out. It wasn't fast but it was small and zippy. I miss that car. "Lil Blue Rocket"
Hey man, I'm actually considering doing a JDM 1JZ GTE swap for a 05 sunfire. What major tips and set backs can you tell me you experienced and what subframe did you find best to use for your build?
Know i'm not him, but a 1jz is gonna be a long block to fit under the hood of a cavalier, any which way you spin it. More power to you, but are you sure it will fit?
@@cavalierliberty6838 the reason I'm confident it will, is I've seen plenty of videos of Civics getting Nissan engines and 2Jzs being fitted in. Considering the sunfires unibody frame closely resembles that of the civic, plus the extra space the engine bay has, it shouldn't take any more work to fit in that what I've seen, Just means more firewall and tunnel work.
@@TrueCanadianJustice fair enough. I will say that from what i know, you are looking a lot of welding and fabricating work. The original cradle should work, with some mods.
@@cavalierliberty6838 definitely a lot haha, I'm going to do an apprenticeship at a custom shop start January. Learn how to weld and fabricate, spring time I'll use my knowledge of cars, construction, and the influence of alcohol to come up with something.
That would be awesome. I sold my 1st Gen square body 87 cavi sedan 5 years ago along with my 90,94,99and 05s and a 1st Gen wagon or a 2nd Gen. I wanted to drop a 95-02 2.2 in one as to me they are much better than an ecotec but an LS swapped mini me wagon would be bad ass. I've never owned an LS swapped 3rd Gen camaro yet as I like my 'maros stock but I'm working on 5.3 4l60e swapping my 06 rt magnum wagon
The Crapalier that could 👌🤣 great build and I fullheartedly mean it. How hard was it to find a clean body in Quebec? I live in Ontario and clean ones practically dont exist out here
Dudeeeeeeeee I wanna swap my 2001 4 door cav so flippin bad!!!!! I've been saying it for almost 2 years but all the homies say it's pointless but fuck I want to make a damn sleeper outa my car damn it lol. What v8 did you stuff in there? I'd love to know more about this car man!!!! Same car as mine your's is just the nicer 2 door
I allways wanted to do this to my 99 Z24 but lower it a little with the stock spoke wheels or have some custom 12inch rear wheels but look like the stock just wider not taller, the wheels on this car are too big and ruin the look!

That little car is hilarious..
The perfect sleeper
We would all be thinking what happened, thats no 2.2l 🫨
The little Camaro of the mid 90’s and 2000’s the Chevrolet Cavalier is in my opinion as a RWD conversion
Awesome!😮
I love this car! CANADIAN SUPERMAN APPROVES
Dude, this gave me inspiration for my cavalier
Found you on TikTok, followed and and subscribed! Love this stuff!
Thanks bro
this is how I thought I looked driving my automatic 1997 2.2 back when I was 18 lol
Yeah lol. Same driving my mom's 1990 4-cylinder with manual transmission. I swear I'd buy it back if I could find it. Great little car.
this is always fun to watch 😂 can't wait to build my cavalier 🤙
Me too
Thanks man, let's go!

You’re a sick sadistic individual for making it that quiet 😂
Hahahahahaha yes man! 🤣
I want to do this to my sunfire . A 5.3 and a 4l60. Perfect daily.
I got the weirdest chub right now.... Awesome car/video.
En espera de ver más vídeos de tu Cavalier (Cavaro). El vídeo quedó muy bien.

I'm just waiting for the day this car is for sale. I will make the trip out to get it.
Awesome. They never should have dropped the V6 option, they should have added a V8!

Looks badass too

Im 23 years old this is my second car stick shift i plan to put a v8 in it like yours
Awesome
Love the V8 j cars think its something different

El cavalier esta mamalon❤
I saw the car at a meet in shawinigan i never thought i would say this but i kinda want a cavalier now 😂
❤
Was this the cavalier build mike sold? Everything's the exact same as the car he was selling 3 years ago
Exact bro! Mike giamp.

I actually had a v6 cav, they actually have power.
How much did it cost just to swap and make rwd

When can you come to Germany and do this to my Opel Astra cabriolet? Or my Golf TDI which currently needs a new turbo.
Invite me man! 👀🤪🤣
Too late, PCS back to the states last year. Had to sell my Astra because it was not 25 years old.
How did u do the front end
Love it
how much did it cost to do that
1 million dollars!
Would really love to have more info on this car i dont have any kinda social media accounts so hard to do
Daaamm!😍😍
I love how that thing go perfectly a Qcar
What rims do it have??🤔

I'm thinking about doing a similar swap on my sunfire, what transmission and rear axel did you use? And what did you do about suspension in the rear?
Gm t5, ford 8.8/ custom irs suspension and cv axle conversion for the 8.8. it's all hand made.
Interesting. I'm going with an 8.8 for my Beretta LS swap, but keeping it live axle. FYI, an explorer is the perfect width for a Beretta. Haha

Love your car and look forward to sharing my build cavalier
Yup.!!!!!!
Como se llama la pista del video ?😊
I have a stock 03 cavalier , can I do anything to make it better performance wise?
Not without spending a ton of money. They were all 4 cylinder, right? Is it a Quad 4?
Can you share with me more on frame work. ? I'm in build of mine
Sold
It looks like a mini gto from the back
For man! It was the same (almost) wheelbase and powerplant.
You still have this thing
Sold man
I want to convert a cavalier station wagon to rwd with an ls and make a drift build

Plus loin que ça, 2021. 🥴

I got a clean 1998 Z24
Coupe candy apple red forsale
im doing this with my four door cavalier
Lemme know how it went cause I’m thinking the same cause I have a2005 4 door cavalier
C'est malade en esti mon gars 😳🤟🤟
How much would you charge to do this to my 1998 cavalier
30k cad
Does it still have A/C
No bro, and the exhaust warm up the floor
The music kills the video. I’d rather just hear the car.
should run 11s right?
13.122 with semi-slick but no traction
I'll buy it cash how much do u want for it?
I have a 98 cavalier I wanna. I'll it as a sleeper
Is it difficult to switch a front wheel drive to a rear wheel?
Haha looks like my 2004 cavalier
👏👏👏💯🔥
Seeing how much the seat moves when changing gears, they weren't made for that kind of torque.

350sbc stroker (383) performance engine with a t5 transmission
Can you please show us under the hood? I want to see.

Awesome
Yeah man, for sure.
