It really riles me up that you can't make demands to all the countries you are in war with, you can get something only from one country. WHY ŁUKASZ?! JUST WHY?!
I don’t think he will as it seems hardcoded in the game, but yeah maybe if enough people ask he will. Does it suck? Yes, but it’s also nice to be able to annex a German city state as Prussia without needing to fight Russia or Britain for instance
@@PersonOfEarth117 It's too easy to become strong and aggresive expansion become ridiculous. What i mean by that is that in the great victorian era you can't annex the north germany as prussia without having a break every war because of the aggresive expansion of annexing every small states. However you could annex so many states from the austrian empire because the aggresive expansion is reduced in the peace deals when countries are bigger, but we all know that prussia swept the north in a month or three historically without any consequences.
I actually defeated a coalition against me, though it was germany of 30's in 1950's, i still could stand against them, what helped me: Infrastructure ALOT of military (focus mainly on military) Economical buildings
I think if you play modern world with all the super powers around is almost impossible with out a shit ton of nukes, good allies and a ridiculously enormous army, i guess that part of the essence of having a whole coalition against you for expanding to fast
you just need like 1 or 2 centuries in the game. By that you would have upgraded your military academy and military academy for generals and also some legacy. Which overpower your military so much while AI barely invests in them. So, if you have higher level military academies and some legacy spent on military. Then you can easily defeat a 70 division unit with like 38 division unit of yours. One more tip, Don't always annex, sometimes also keep vassals. They are your forever ally. Having multiple (3-5) of them overpowers you. They don't have to be large. Just enough to have decent army, numbers depend on how long the game have been running. Vassals have helped me win wars without my troops engaging in battle.
Did it with Bavaria, but got a huge problem for it, having Franca and the ottoman empire just after Russia left me alone made it a tough situation except that i united my 100 total regiments in Munich, go full defense, and let them come 1.4M losses for the coalition while only 70k losses in my side, and to dont have to deal with a all directions front ar i had to deal with the coalition before the leader[ottoman] 14years of war man- ☠️
Coalitions are easy 1. Boost economy 2. Then boost everything in quality(research, capital, discipline etc) 3. make good quality armies with strong generals 4. Wipe out few times larger armies
Unfortunately for my run as Prussia I was close to forming the German empire but when I declared war on France for the Rhineland I got myself into a coalition. I had just beaten France with over 120 troops but lost most in a battle with them. I had no more troops to combat the coalition.
My fav way to beat coalitions is through battle, specially if you're a big nation. Focus on stacking your army and taking smaller amounts of enemy armies, in no time you'll get enough WS to white peace, and if you're in good condition you can win the war and get some land from the guy who invaded you xD
Coalitions arent too bad, its mainly the larger nations you need to worry about, I just knock out the smaller ones and then try and steamroll the larger nation(s), isnt too hard late game.
It's actually pretty easy, just make your troops so strong they are just an army of terminoters lol, literally defeated ALL of Europe ,Russia India china Japan and north Africa , COMBINED, at once
Recently play as Brandenburg and just get jumpsacre by war declaration by England and a coalation of nation Lithuania, Moscovy, Hungry, Bohemia, and my fucking ally (teutonic Order)
Lukasz wrote this game in Java, but he uses an .exe file to run the game, which prevents the game from running natively on Linux, even though Java is a cross-platform language. In the system requirement of the store page on steam, there is only windows and mac OS
@Sanesytp Well that's a shame. I haven't touched Windows for over half a year. Maybe it will run with Proton/Wine though? The Steam Deck compatibility is currently shown as unknown.
I think score is given in terms of rank of civilization so when you reach top you get a lot of score and that's very annoying. It also does not matter how big of a country you defeated. Score is just given in terms of your rank. While in AoH2, score system was good, if you had trouble winning than you had low score but if you were able trash your enemy than you had high score. Rank also mattered but your Proformance also mattered.
Easy technique. Save some money at start then have a bit strong army. Annex some territory and make vassals. vassals will help you win wars and territory you gain from annexation helps your economy. After some time you will be getting an okay balance. Invest it in economy, economic buldings and tax. You don't need to maintain an army if you have 2 or 3 vassals, which in combined army are enough for attack and defence.

yeah, cuz secondary enemy are basically just additional enemy troops
