Unfortunately for my run as Prussia I was close to forming the German empire but when I declared war on France for the Rhineland I got myself into a coalition. I had just beaten France with over 120 troops but lost most in a battle with them. I had no more troops to combat the coalition.

Coalitions are easy 1. Boost economy 2. Then boost everything in quality(research, capital, discipline etc) 3. make good quality armies with strong generals 4. Wipe out few times larger armies

Coalitions arent too bad, its mainly the larger nations you need to worry about, I just knock out the smaller ones and then try and steamroll the larger nation(s), isnt too hard late game.

How to do you start a rebellion

Problem is that when you declare peace to the one that sent you war, all the others make peace and is block only for you and not for ai

My fav way to beat coalitions is through battle, specially if you're a big nation. Focus on stacking your army and taking smaller amounts of enemy armies, in no time you'll get enough WS to white peace, and if you're in good condition you can win the war and get some land from the guy who invaded you xD

Difficulty level?

Cara, eu tava jogando de Sicília, eu queria formar algo parecido com uma nação mercantil, para isso eu fui dominando alguns pequenos territórios pelo mediterrâneo depois diz algumas colônias pela América com capital colonial na Jamaica. Até aí tudo bem, só que aí minha pesquisa tava insana, tava cheio de riquezas e recursos, então pensei: "dominar tudo né" foi aí que depois de eu passar de 300 de "expansão agressiva" a coalizão veio pra me derrotar, o problema é que eu tava com tanque e eles com espadachim. Tá meio desbalanceado esse jogo

What IS your composition armies?

Did it with Bavaria, but got a huge problem for it, having Franca and the ottoman empire just after Russia left me alone made it a tough situation except that i united my 100 total regiments in Munich, go full defense, and let them come 1.4M losses for the coalition while only 70k losses in my side, and to dont have to deal with a all directions front ar i had to deal with the coalition before the leader[ottoman] 14years of war man- ☠️

It's actually pretty easy, just make your troops so strong they are just an army of terminoters lol, literally defeated ALL of Europe ,Russia India china Japan and north Africa , COMBINED, at once

I created the Japanese Empire using the Takeda Clan in this same scenario. It took about 200 years, but I managed to become a world power and compete with England.
