At the beginning it was the same to me, but i played it and the key is basically to spam farms and Eco and then you can put enough soliders to Just maul your enemies
In the beginning the most important thing is to find a somewhat powerful Ally and fight always together. This way you can just grab all the provinces at the end of the war. Love this game!!
I think the game as for right now lacks depth, but it is somewhat good if you are looking for a simple map painting game. This game have so much potential as a template for more complex mods, hopefully the modding community goes full swing. I even saw some people porting Kaiserreich and Millennium Dawn into it on steam, haven't tested them tho but i can see a bright future for the modding side of the community
Nice video! You should not spam whatever divisions you feel like. Instead, build 1 flank and 1 support for each 1 of the attacking divisions. It would improve your odds of winning battle, even with disadvantageous amount of troops. Also, if you click on the money to the lift of manpower button, you can change how much you tax, spend of research and army. If you make the taxing less, you’ll have more compliance and less revolts
Petition for Lukas to change the ai alliances to be not as annoying I swear literally all countries I have played as have lost because of it Just have an option to turn off alliances
As somebody who plays aoc2 mobile a lot the one change I was hoping for was more customisation in terms of leader portraits and flags, I was also hoping for leaders changing like for example FDR will be replaced by Truman in 1945 or when you change Spain to Facists the leader becomes Franco
Ngl he chose probably the hardest nation for begginers because the ottomans have alot of neighbours and if u don't secure an alliance with someone ur cooked
It would be cool to have actual units in the map instead of numbers, like Bannerlord, HOI IV or WC4 where you can see a unit model with a custom skin to the nation (different skin for UK, France, China, Mexico, Canada, etc.) and the troop type (destroyers, battleships, artillery, archers, marines, infantry, etc.) it gives more immersion
Bro i used to play paradox games but now i don't remember most of it so i came back to play this easy version of paradox games so i like your commentary and i would love it if you started a series or something in this game, great content btw
You were having a grand ol' time as the ottomans as your first playthrough, my first nation was Switzerland in 1440. I didn't know that I would be at odds with Savoy and Milan, I was basically in a cold war state because normally, in the AoC2, bad relations = war. So I was in constant fear while I was trying to figure out the economy and diplomacy game. I was defeated by a few city states, I survived, but I left the game. I wish I still had it so I could come back for revenge, I improved a lot since release.
He didn't get anything wrong, they're basically the same name, like Philip and Filip, I went to school where kids with Christian names were just called by the native pronunciation so it's easier to say.
One of the things I wanted to see changed was the relationship between puppets and the parent country (and maybe the addition of colonies). In AoC 2, there’s not enough control over puppets, like foreign policy or their military units. They’d often just go to war with whoever and cause problems. Have issues like these been solved?
