  • This is a box of slabs which came with a Facebook Marketplace lot that I bought at the end of July 2024. I picked up the equipment and the rocks in Toledo, OH.
I have a numbered dice in each portion of video with the slabs. If you have an idea on what the slab material is, please comment with the number and what you think it is.

What a great pick up. So many great slabs and love seeing the old prices. I don't know much about rock types unless they are from Michigan. Thanks for showing them and hope others can be helpful.

The rock on the thumbnail photo for the video is found with quartz and gold plus a few other gems. The gold will be either free gold, flakes or fine dustings that can be panned out once all rock is crushed finely for panning and you can pick out any big flakes while you're at it. Just thought I'd tell you. It's the yellow and black mixed rock. I have one right now that's a slab. Lots of gold.

Seriously. Lol. I think it’s just simply common jasper.

Number 6 is goldstone, a man made gem.

Thanks. I think that is definitely the consensus on that one.

#11 is probably gonna have some gold flakes or fine gold in the veins. Check it out if you're up to it.

#6 looks like goldstone which IS man-made but still considered semiprecious.

Parts of rocks you have are in geology created by earth heating sun and water chemicals not volcanic rocks jasper is mostly rocks in this group's quartz can mixed in also after granite are next family they more beautiful and materials chemicals different are . hematite is kind materials in different parts of earth it can change under heating
