I love a big ball of yarn, have been tempted to try Temu yarn, so thank you for confirming that I shouldn’t try x

It is sooooo tempting though right?! The ads are everywhere atm too. There’s always spare yarn at my house should you need it 😜

Milk yarn is reclaimed from milk protein to form an acrylic yarn.

listings would of stated sizes temu generally do 50g balls

That's the problem with Temu yarn it comes in no bigger than 100g. Which is like 3.5 ounces. I just found a great buy with 6 skeins/ 50 GRAMS each ball, which it is 300 grams. for $ 6.14 USD. I can get a 142 grams of acrylic size 4 thick for $ 4.99, on sale for $3.20. But it is not as soft as the yarn on Temu. I make wearable garments and I need soft yarns. Some of the yarn in Temu is scratchy. But the acrylic I bought it turned out very soft.

Yeah I liked the acrylic and the chenille, but the size of the balls does make it a real challenge for wearable garments. So many ends to weave in!!!!! Thanks for watching x

No bigger than 50 grams? That’s not true as I buy there acrylic yarn in 200g skeins for bit over 5£,100% merino wool yarn in 100g skeins in sets of 5 skeins for 18£ and Kashmir yarn of 90% Kashmir and 10% viscose I get in 400g skeins for around 18£ .You just need to search, read well description …

Most of the yarn details ie weight. Length etc are in the ad photos not the title (but not always) 😊. Also TEMU isn’t a brand it’s a distributor like Amazon, a lot of the wool comes from Japan as well. I’ve had far more hits than misses with craft stuff and clothes but just waiting now for my yarn order. Fingers crossed.

Oh thanks for the info. I think I’m such an impulse buyer/ magpie that I buy stuff and then worry about the details later 😂. I hope your yarn haul is 100% hits! 🤞🤞🤞

Any of the yarns I’ve bought have all stated how many metres each ball was. No surprise when I received them.

You need to read the description. It tells you how many yards or meters in each one.

Mole hair is a real pain to work with. The halo on it makes it difficult when knitting it and if you have to take it back, it’s very sticky. It usually is lace weight, the weight that you have there and it has a halo, haiiy. lol I can’t imagine crocheting that, and it’s artificial, so the halo probably is even more sticky than if it was real molehair

Ive heard that the chenille yarn in this video fades when washed, and it transfers a lot of color so be careful

Thanks for that. Definitely will not be buying wool from Temu. Will stick to knitting network. Got some good deals from them and have been really impressed with their yarn.

I hate ordering blindly. Temp drives me crazy with all their junky adds. I like Joanne’s, hobby lobby or Walmart , sometimes even Amazon if your lucky!, I don’t like poking my money down a rat hole.

A totally rip off, financially. I am wondering what chemicals are in the yarn so on the long run will irritate your skin and ending up with some other skin issues 😮.

She doesn't even try to have a good thing to said. She is the first person that doesn't find anything positive with the order received. Another place the ball of yarn are very small:hobbii and it doesn't make them less than a very good place to buy yarn. I hope , that it's better than she think it is. Also she can make a big ball with 2 smalls one.

She is giving her opinion. She did give kudos to 2 of them which I really appreciate. If it's not good I would want to know so I don't waste my money.
