I did this very sculpt on the creality ld 002dr resin printer 2 years ago . It took a lot of time to paint it i know what you went through ( great) job . I use the same paints i buy them at walmart . I had a cr10 and printed the same model it came out so so. I got rid of the cr10 because i had too much trouble keeping it running so i got me a peopoly phenom resin printer and its a dream machine . Again great work . Happy creating...........
Oh that’s awesome I bet it was a lot cleaner of a print than mine. Resin is my favorite for sure. I’ve got a cr-10 as well and I’m always doing some maintenance to it. 😅 at this point maintaining 3D printers for me is my second hobby.
@@ibrahimkesici9780 I’m sure you will it just takes practice. Start on something small and build yourself up. Just focus on getting a little bit better each time.
Very inspiring work you did on that deadpool bust.. I am also in the middle of painting the same model. May I ask what is that material you were applying to it during 10:56 to 11:02 part of the video? I am using your video as a guide by the way.. Thank you for the inspiration..
Hi there! Thank you for the kind words! What I used is an ink wash. I created a video series on my process of painting busts. I can share that video with you.
Question: did you first use dry brush and gave effects to the pouches before the color wash? Did you color wash everything without exception? Too fast to notice lol - great video!
Thanks! I connect my printer to a print server and use octoprint. It’s running octolpase which moves the print bed forward and takes a picture in between each layer change.
Technology has come so far; it's insane. This is fantastic. The level of dimension and detail are crazy, and the color work is spot on. It's cool to see something creative and different; I dig it 👌🤘 -Best of luck on your art and your channel, and much support from one artist to another. Liked and subbed.
Looks great. I did the same thing using a da Vinci mini but there are always lines on the outside... how come yours doesn’t do it... ? My print took about 5 hours for reference
@@motormusic1 this print took a few days. I use rustoleum 2x primer and it fills in a lot of the layer lines. I also printed this at 0.08 mm layer height.
Tallented guy, what would have made the video better especially for people like myself who has recently taken up this hobby, would be to put a small written explanation or title of what you doing. For instance put in a corner dry brushing or washing etc.
Why the initial timelapse done and reversed three times? Once is enough. Reverse is useless. 3 times normal and reverse is just boring. I came for the painting, not for three minutes of timelaps going back and forth...
thanks for watching. I do the multiple timelapses cause a portion of my audience likes to see the timelapse. You can always fast forward the video to the part you want to see.
@@ItsMeaDMaDe I love timelapses too! But (IMHO) once is enough, RUclips does give all the tools for rewinding and watching again, slowing down etc. I feel fooled when 3 minutes of video of "painting 3d printed bust" is a rewinding and playing again of the same part. Imho man, don't take it as an offence. Keep up the good work! 💪
Great job! Love the weathering effect the dark wash gives it. Add a 😃 smiley face to the back of the sword where the circle is.
Thanks. I might have to do the next time. I did this foe a friend.

Yeah but in the end of all the maintanence and aggravation you get your own unique sculpture .
Nice work! I think the layer lines can be minimized if you used a filler primer.
Thanks! Yeah I switched to a filler & sandable primer that does a lot better.
……..that’s an amazing intro
Hey! Thanks so much. Glad you liked it!
Great job how do you paint without visible brush marks?
Thanks. I’m thin my paints. I made a tutorial series where I go over it.
@@ItsMeaDMaDe thanks for the reply. i just started to go over those tutorials. hope to get better :)

What you use in 10:56 ?
That is just a black ink wash.
Beautiful 👍
Thank you!
Cool!
Thanks!
Your videos need more views man, Great stuff!
Thank you so much!! Hopefully in time they will 🤞
I'm starting this bust right now and found your vídeo. Love the way it turned out ! Going to follow the same path of colors. +1 sub !
Awesome thanks and glad you like it. Good luck with yours!
Hey quick question man. What did you use to layer over the red towards the end to make it look like shadows on the suit?

Which model Air gun kit you are using for painting ?
I’m just using the master air airbrush.
Quick question did you enable z hop for this?
No, I did not.
Question: did you first use dry brush and gave effects to the pouches before the color wash? Did you color wash everything without exception? Too fast to notice lol - great video!
I dry brushed the pouches and ink washed all the red. And didn’t ink wash the leather at all.
How do you get so much paint coverage without Painting layers? Looks so professional
Thanks! I water down the paint and just make sure I have a good coat before moving on to the next part. I do sometimes go back over areas.
What layer height and nozzle size are you using?
For this I used a stock nozzle .4mm and layer height is 0.08mm
PLEASE made a video on 3D Timelapse bro. No one explains it well. I have everything to do it I just don’t know how lol. Thanks. Loving your channel
Thanks a lot. Not going to lie it was a huge pain to figure out. I will see if I can figure out how to properly explain it.
@@ItsMeaDMaDe please please do
One thing you forgot to mention what paint codes you used for the paint :)
Sorry I honestly don’t know what I used. I have a lot of paints and I just grab what I think looks good. I can do that for future videos.
How did you shoot the printing without moving nozzle? Pretty cool!

Wow, thanks so much for your support! I’m glad you liked it a lot of time and love went into this piece.
What settings did you use in your slicer
I have another video where I show what settings I use in Cura.
How many hours take to do this piece? And, do you have to make improves to your printer or i can get this quality just like the printer comes?
It took me around 5 hours to paint it. This is just using a stock ender 3 pro with a glass bed.
@@ItsMeaDMaDe thank you, amazing work 👍
Awesome! After printing, you went straight to applying first coating? Or you did some sanding first?
Thanks! No sanding just applied a primer base coat of paint then started.

Do you have a list of the paints you used to do this?
Unfortunately no I don’t. I used folk art acrylic paints to paint it though if that helps.
what were you specs on the print?
My layer height was at .08mm and speed was 15 mm/s. Everything else was pretty standard.

Awesome but is to bad that wasn't a resin print...
Love this print, you have done an awesome job. I printed a resin version about 1/10 scale :) Mine looks better than yours :P (joke) XD
