0:46 Clearly this guy. Heahmund is the brain of the Saxon army😂
"I am a cripple, not an idiot." Great line. xD
I love all the effort Ivar does to walk each step, his face even shows the pain he fells step by step. He is extreme and does the extreme to be respected and show he is equal or better...
really good acting, even had watery eyes to show the pain and still it will not stop him, nothing will.
@LynchByinch I know, isn't it great? All of those tiny details make this show amazing. Actors are doing an amazing job. Alex eyes tell us a LOT more about Ivar struggle and feelings than his words, people should pay attention in those little gifts actors are giving us. Jordan is also unbelievably good in this season, emotions in his eyes are superb, and he is copying Travis mannerisms too, he walks and moves like Ragnar!
Ivar is as smart as Ragnar, but is so much more Ruthless! I love it! Let’s go Ivar!!
Yes :) Exactly how Ragnar hoped he would be :)
"And you will know my brother .... In good time"
He Sounds just like ragnar😍😍😍😍
liquide gum Ragnar told Rollo about most of his plans including his desire to raid west.
Ivar treating Hvitserk like how Ragnar treated Rolo
Ragnar loved and respected his brother, i cannot say the same thing about Ivar. He doesn't have emotions.
Youre right. The scene just reminds me the 1st season ragnar and rollo relationship. Ragnar always acted like hes always one step ahead of his brother until rollo attempted to betray him. then he started to respect his brother after that
JigSaw Gaming
Na he does have emotions. They’re all just based on anger
@P Dav - Bingo. xD
@@JigSawGaming The why did he took hvtserk to Russia instead of killing .
I just love how forward, earnest, and assertive Bishop Heahmund is. He says what he thinks should be said. Promising character. I would have loved to see him in scenes with the likes of Ragnar, Ecbert, and Aelle.
You know what, I am enjoying season 5 more than I thought, in fact, I think this transition from older, established characters to the newer ones has been handled far better in Vikings than in Game of Thrones, don't get me wrong I like AGOT but I prefer Vikings
I need to ask, when were a transition in GoT ? I mean, they are basically all the same characters than from the start, minus the ones that died, there no such thing as newer characters.
I spose but I guess I meant character development more than new in that case, more how Jon Snow doesn't seem, at least to me, the reliant, hardened king that the show is trying to portray him as, whilst Bjorn for example has become a hardened veteran, Aethelwulf has matured well and even Ivar has matured a bit.
I agree. Aethelwulf is really impressive in this season. Showing himself as a very mature and good king. Amazing, the same about the others, even Ivar, is maturing slowly to become the great leader and genius he was and that we couldn't see well in season 4. Ubbe is also maturing, and I love to see his mistakes, similar to Ragnar, when he believed the Saxons in the past and was betrayed by Ecbeth. Now by the end of this episode we can see he is thougher, wiser, and heartbroken, what def is part of how he is going to be shaped in the future as a leader.
You are right. The problem with Got is that there are not more books to follow and the writers are not that good as we can see in later seasons compared to the first ones.
Every character in got has changed a LOT. If u cant see that, man, u just dont get it.
I like Aethelwulf. But he handles situations so poorly. If he was as smart as his dad he would be such a powerful character.
he was never the smart king his son alfred on the other hand is known for being wise
I like him because hes a simple dude. He has everything that the characters in the show want. Money, power, fame etc. But he doesnt yearn for more. He uses the things he has for what he believes is right. Hes fighting for his country, for his people and for his god. Compared to most of the main characters in the show who fight for riches, for fame, glory etc. In a way, I see him as englands version of Ragnar Lothbrok.
I love Heahmund. Him being an extreme fanatic to his religion makes his character stand out and unique xD and how yet brutal he is in a fight for a bishop. "HEATHEEEN!"
Bros a menace in the chapel and the battlefield
At first I wasn't a fan of Irvar but he's growing on me a lot, 👍 Great characters
In history Ivar was a genius who never lost a battle, expect more cool stuff from him.
I hate him :/
I don't really like his attitude anymore
shut up idiot you have no norse blood in you. I have true scandinavian blood in me and I know Ivar the great future king of Ireland was a great leader. You are soft go back to watching kids shows
I pity the poor fool who underestimates Ivar Banlaus!
ivar really needs to get along with hvitserk
He doesnt respect his brothers. Someday they will all abandon him and then he will be alone.
Manny Lugz eh he doesn't need them.
He will die in great suffering then, although his achievements are one of the best among vikings
LOVING season 5 it looks so real you guys are amazing actors!!
OMGs Ivar walks!
You gotta be careful when fighting a commander as clever as Ivar the Boneless.
Jonathan is excelling in his role. He shows a lot of intelligence. Athelwulf you're going down.
I love Ivar 😍 😂
And l love you dear 😍💗💗.
Ivar looks like a ragnar from season 3
"Anyone who must say they are King is no King"
ImTheWaffleman g o t quote
Bullshit quote from a bullshit tv show . Such a cheesy quote
Yazid Benomar *TRIGGERED*
Ali Chaudry I'm just making a quote. People need to calm down, it must be an inferiority complex Vikings fans have or something. Just because I quote GOT to something that's very true it triggers people. God I'm so sick of people being babies and getting their feelings hurt. That's not directed at you but pretty much everyone who replied. Like grow up people Jesus
ImTheWaffleman
Oh right that was a quote from a guy who got killed by a midget while he was taking a shit. Yeah what a wise man he was.
Thank you so much for the upload!! 👌👌🔥
I woke up early just to see this 😂😂
That is why IVAR is one of my favorite characters in the show clever
I
“Any man who must say I am the king is no true king”
😂😂 I love that Ivar always brings up the fact that he’s a cripple when faced with having to explain why he does certain things. Like having guards or in this case having a plan. Also I like how they portray that he’s constantly in a lot of pain just by moving around with his crutch. He’s Ragnars son without a doubt.
Aethelwulf cracking the shits is hilarious.
The bishop is too much loyal...
....except the Pope!
Ivar loves to clown, but hates to be clowned....
I love Heahmund in this scene. "Creatures of rags and bones" haha. I think Christianity as a whole needs a young brash guy like this to Lead cause the Pope just isn't cutting it.
I am posativety throbbying for the next season to come out
I have a feeling at somepoint we will get an ivar that walks without any help
2:18
Ya, no humble pie to be eaten here.
*EVERY TIME YOU FART, THE DEVIL SENDS ONE DEMON TO EARTH!!!*
Aethelwulf is beginning to resemble ecbert

Best thing out there. 😁
WHEN will we get to watch Season 5...I wonder !!!!
Never trust a Bishop who is lead my visions.
Although he's right. The Saxon army should have waited and starved the Norse out!
ivar is single handedly gonna start the dark ages....with the whole rat thing...
Sake of England ? You are about fifty years to early ...
Hannah Dyson though you’re right historically, this show is a little bit loose with historical facts and you can see the English kingdoms have pretty much united by this point under Athelwulf into one country.
More like 60 or 70 years earlier.
lool the bishop his smart the king of kings is JEsus!!!
Wow. If they listened to Bishop Heamund, they would probably have won...
That's weird... Eoferwic aka York looks like if it came out from 13th century England, doesn't look like a small 9th century town.
It was a major roman garrison city
Should have listened to Heamond
Should’ve listened 🤷♂️
Ivar's plans... the Roman aquaducts
If Aethulwulf had tried to do anything to Heahmund that would've been the end of the king
Where is everybody watching the show? Don’t have the time to watch it on TV
gomovies
Serienstream
The Romans were clever atill they wasn't
Great warrior, poor tactitician even a poor listener. I likw him but come on.
They need helmets
Henry the 8th!!
Is Ivar talking about the battle of Alesia?
how does Alesia fit into this? I'm thinking Ivar discovered the old Roman sewers beneath York and is planning on using them to ambush the English, attack them from behind, trap them in town and burn it down, or something as imaginative
blub what I was thinking was that Ivar read about the battle of Alesia and how Cesar trapped the opposing side in the city, which is what the Saxons are trying to pull now. I believe that Ivar learned from the mistakes of the opposing sides and found a loop hole so that they could trick the saxons into thinking that they were all straving to death. I may be wrong but it's just a theory.
blub yeah you're probably right
no no, you're definitely at least part right =) Ivar knows the value of deception and misinformation. He's definitely going to use this situation to the best of this advantage ... we just have to wait and see how he utilizes whatever it is he found beneath the town!
Strange, but i'm sure at this point Eboracum, the roman York, was nothing but ruins.
The anglo-saxons built Eoferwic perhaps next to such ruins, but they never lived in roman towns.
People try to relate ivar to Ragnar but what they get is ivar is the least like Ragnar and if he were acting like this and Ragnar was alive then they would not be standing together ubbe Ragnarsson is a lot more like Ragnar so is bjorn ironside
If Michael Hirst and Vikings stick to historical facts, then Ivar and the vikings will be defeated in the battle of York. Having said that Michael Hirst creativity is second to none.
Umm no? The Heathen Army is defeated by Alfred (Athelstan son) but when he's older.
wow
This is the most propaganda I have ever seen. They were not clean shaved and women rulers were unheard of.
Where would these shows be without rich nobles wearing post-apoc biker leathers? Just give them mail FFS. At least try to make it "realistic".
