Mazda MPV gets a shout-out in the Wu-Tang Clan hit C.R.E.A.M.! Supposedly Biz Markie got one first (he actually got 2 right away), and DJ Premier got one soon after. Premier set his up with a crazy aftermarket stereo system and it became famous in the NYC hip hop community. Biggie Smalls even shouts it out. You've got a legit piece of old school Bronx hip hop history in that MPV!
I've always been partial to the MPV as my late 80s/early 90s minivan of "choice". With the 4WD and/or the towing package, that's a pretty awesome rig. 5-speed puts this one on the next level.
Clayton's yard has gotten to me! I WANT YOU TO MAKE THE CORVAIR PICKUP A DRIVER! I rode to elementary school in a Corvair van. The main problem was that the fan belt would break, delaying our homecoming. I knew Corvair pickups existed, but I hadn't seen one until this video! Too cool and rare!
@@joeboxer3365 I know I saw the backend of the cab. The front doors and front end of the cab are the same as the far more common Corvair busses. There's some hope. I'd like to see Scott work his magic on an air cooled flat six!
Man I'd love to pack a lunch and just look around at the cars this guys has!! What a treat to be able still find some of the old space ships of the early 60's. What a time to be alive and what amazing cars from that era. I love that CWM is dedicated to reviving the old forgotten feild cars of that era. What a treat to watch history being saved and cherished!! Keep up the good work guys and now I'm looking in old forgotten cars for dart packages!! 😆😆😆
Love junkyards!! You saw some real gems! (Haven't seen a Cordoba in at least 30 some odd years!) "My Classic Darts" -hilarious!! That Mazada..can't be that bad. It still runs good( like my 94 Exploder). Like a Timex...Takes a lickin, keeps on tickin..
The first video I saw of yours I saw was you buying the 60 Fury out of the pasture and splicing it then I saw the one of you splicing the 58? Savoy hardtop onto the four door Regent frame and then I watched your others, Now I want to see you move your cars so you have all of the forward look cars you own lined up in a row so we can see how many you have and see which ones can be made better with parts from the ones that are completely gone, Like putting the engine from the four door donor Fury into the Windsor so it can be driven to the road and back! You have me hooked on on the forward look cars!
Dang!that's a 73 Montego GT with the 351 Cleveland, either a 2v or 4v carb. They only made 5000 of the Montego GTs in 72 and 73 so they're a pretty rare-ish car. I had 1 back in the early 90s with the 2v Cleveland and after a little tweaking and some Cragar SS's on her,she screamed! The Montego mx's were much less rare compared to the gt's. Man I just love old junkyards! I want to fix everything i see though, lol! thanks again guys. Alright! A politically correct show about cigarettes! I endorse this content as 100% fantastic! Especially being brave enough to try darts from the golden age of historic vehicles and tobacco that's actually a tad bit older than me! I shall light 1 up in salute to you stalwart fellows!!! ▪☆☆☆▪
@@joeboxer3365 I've learned to never assume an old car is in good shape by its appearance. True, you won't need rare exterior parts, as far as we can see, but this is a Canadian Pontiac, among other things it'll have a Chevy engine in it.
Thanks Scott for another brilliant video! I'm really enjoying the Classic Darts show. Having the host of Darts and Stripes along is an added bonus. Loved all the classics at the junkyard. Looking forward to the next Straight 8 Challenge episode. Still the best car show on RUclips.! KEEP IT TIDY!
While not a dart aficionado myself, I must congratulate you all on another fine My Classic Dart episode. The camera work, scripting and pace are just about perfect. Good job guys.
This is one of my top 5 favorite episodes, what could be better than my favorite darts. Anyone who doesn't like this is just not my kind of person, I am going to test out all the new people I run into with this episode if they aren't absolutely entertained by it then out of my life they go, this is my litmus test. Be careful with the lichen some of it may be on the endangered species list.
@@aliceshaw8265 I understand your thinking on the cigarettes! I quit smoking about 20 years ago when I got sick and couldn't hardly breathe, I have two older sisters and they both smoked and when they would get sick I would try to get them to quit smoking too. The one sister kept denying that I got sick from smoking she kept saying it had to be the paint fumes and body shop dust because I have a body shop! I told her that if that was the case I still wouldn't be able to breathe because I still was in the body shop ! She kept denying that the cigarettes had made me sick that it had to be paint fumes and she continued to smoke until she got lung cancer, They took part of a lung but when they opened her up the cancer kept popping up all over her! they operated on her about 4 or 5 times but there was no saving her! She died on December 11 2018, Two days before her 66 birthday, My other sister kept smoking but she didn't get lung cancer, Her kidneys shut down and she had a kidney transplant about a month after the other sister died. She is alive but says if she knew how sick it was going to make her she wouldn't have had it done!
@@aliceshaw8265 I'm your age and have smoked since i was 14, at times i drank until I thought my eyeballs fell out, almost died a couple of times in a race car and if i die tomorrow i can honestly say that i did what i wanted to do and had one hell of a lot of fun doing it.
spending a saturday afternoon cruising the local junkyard. oooing and ahhhing at the totally trashed rust-buckets with small bushes and young trees growing out of the engine compartments. what fun!
We genuinely enjoyed the , junkyard safari ride , through Clayton's , in the Mazada 🙆♂️😄👏👏👏👏🔩🔧🏁 Lots of interesting automotive archeological projects 🤔
mmm ,That '61 has a real slick roofline,,,,love it! P.s just discovered how good that Norton Expert paper is, Thanx Canada for that and my fave show too, Frankers was there too,,,mmm Stella was such a star though, but hey ho loons, chin up.
Oh man all of those "bumpside" (67-72) Ford trucks! And a crew cab even!!!! I sure could use some parts from those. Just a bit of a drive from North Carolina though unfortunately. Absolutely LOVE the 61 Plymouth and I can't wait to see you work your fabrication magic on it. All the best to you, Frankers, and the agents from North Carolina....
It's like the fender was always on it ! Excellent find. Surprised that Mazda isn't knocking yet , they all seemed to do it around 70k. Odd to hear they are rare in Canada.Tons of them in the U.S. filling up wrecking yards, and can even be found rotting in yards out here in Hawaii .
WooHoo Sunday morning and it’s time to watch the latest from CMW. Have to take our fifty Dodge out to the local harbour to celebrate 80 years of our new port . But have to watch my classic darts first.
Not a lot of us remember but back in the day the Biscayne was a very nice car, sure there were faster cars and other nice cars that vintage Thunderbird with the wraparound back seat comes to mind, but I always liked the Biscayne
James, the 59 aqua one he tidied up and got running was the first video and sucked me in. I love the fact that some of these cars, other collectors or restorers would reject, Scott takes them in, they get a tidy, and most of what I've seen get running and even somewhat driveable.
yes, l like the Biscayne too. btw, they could be optioned with the biggest engine, 409 in 61 l think, any available transmission and rear end. so they could be very, very fast as well.
Alright, let's try this again(somehow I lost the original comment)...Today on "Why aren't I in Canada?" I discover that I haven't watched enough of the early CWM magic, as I'm under the impression that you guys are holding the automotive equivalent of the Magic Kingdom across the border. Coyote Auto - you've got at least 6 cars I want - starting w/the 2 Cordobas, then there's some Furys, oh yeah - & that Canadian Pontiac Sedan Delivery would make a nice work(as in fun) project. No Scott - I'm not forgetting about your collection - if you ever hear about some nut winning the Lotto & announcing a trip to Canada...hide the Belvedere. Unfortunately(or fortunately, depending on your POV), I've got more sense than space or money. And that's depending on who you ask - I believe I mentioned how many cars I had at home back in the late '90's (& that was a home w/a carport and 2-car garage) & I still found something to drive home in. So Agent 7889 is not the only one who might need time w/a shrink :) So, Frankers is getting her own channel, "Classic Darts" is a riot - I'm sure there were some ex-smokers reaching for their #oxygen masks, as the hilarity caused them to lose their breath...and the '61 is slowly becoming more attractive, there's tons of great old Iron across the border - w/a collective determined to keep them from being lost to history. Did that last run-on sentence make any sense? No? Good! I'm looking forward to the next installment of the "Straight 8 Showdown"(I'm still pro Buick), the '60 Fury build, the '61 Belvedere, and anything else in between. Gentlemen, I salute you.
SPIN-OFFS!! Well, now that I've gotten the abdominal muscle cramps settled back down from all the belly laughs, I can type fairly pain-free finally. :-) Seriously, there aren't many better ways a fella of my advanced state of deterioration can occupy my time in the wee hours of a Sunday morning and I do look forward to it so! "My Classic Darts" is just taking on a life of its' own. As I enjoy my own Salem Gold 100 (plastered all over with government warnings BUT still packing artificial menthol goodness, the way God meant it), watching that segment is pure tobacco enjoyment, by George. There goes SWM spin-off #1, right there... "Will It Bolt?" starring Frankers the wonder pup is still in the development stages, but it's got the making of an instant classic if I have any idea here (and I don't). Spin-off #2! Look for it on CTV, coming this fall! I love the junkyard trips too. Made a lot of them back in the day, when there were still junkyards that had anything interesting in them AND you were actually allowed in them (there's several in this part of the country still, but they've all gotten in trouble with the tax man or some such and have been closed for years now). It's probably for the best or otherwise, I'd wind up with a Scott-like situation out here on the ridge, too. I'm big on rescuing dogs as it is - imagine if I had the chance of rescuing junker Mopars, too!?!? Holy hell...the mind fairly boggles. Be safe up there and know your efforts go a lot further than simple entertainment for some of us, -Ed on the Ridge
Nice trip through the wrecking yard the days of yards like this are long gone in our state the state came triugh and crushed them all so many cars and yards love the 59 chevy 2 door wish we near you guys so many buildable cars and parts .
Great Idea from watching this video. Put a small solar panel out side the your 1959 Dodge Viscount, place a battery and different color led lights inside the cars and have a cool light light show at night, power from the house can be used, lights come on only at night!
Love the van. Even more obscure and unloved than my 1 st gen. ‘97 Honda Odyssey ( yes, I know the quad dune buggy thing from around 1980 was actually the 1 st Honda Odyssey). The classic Run Til Failure. Then abandon without regret
That 59 Stratocaster was so cool, take it home, pleeease, and the 61 Biscayne, the aqua is lonely and would like another of its kind. That Pontiac delivery would be an awesome editon and what's the gray 4 door off to the right at 14:38, it looks very complete. Oh guys I'm just lovin all these beautys and would like to take so many home, but I can't so you'll have to do it for me, just like I found a home with you guys of seeing some of my faves ,wish I had, cars and all the other unique ones and that you just save them, make them operable and even presentable. Thank you Scott
Hey thanks for saying so: We do have fun with that stuff... I just wanted to do something that would be unlikely to get ripped off, haha! Cheers from me and Frankers and the Agents...
we had a 98, automatic mpv. it was cool AF. diff lock, nice 4wd, but the head gasket blew and it never ran right once we got her back together so dad traded her lol but it was like an suv mixed with a minivan lol strange vehicle. The ebrake handle was only accessible to me (i'm the only one who was small enough) console placement wasn't well thought out LOL.
Mission accomplished, The Belvedere looks like a real car now. Hope to see more of this project, that car has made a Exner fan out of this old Harley Earl supporter.
So many cool cars! its a shame that Montego is so trashed. The buckets and console is pretty rare on those. People that wanted that option usually went more for the Torino. The Pontiac sedan delivery looked pretty decent and complete. I would be on that like a fat kid on a donut. Thanks for the romp around Claytons. Cheers.
Enjoy every episode of cwm. Love the tour of the auto parts yard. Nothing like seeing autos that were once new that someone used daily. Ready to give someone a part to keep going. You guys always make me laugh. 61looking good
Anyone who drives around an old junkyard pointing out the Biscaynes is all right! But you missed a pretty red ‘61 Biscayne or BelAir early on. Keep having fun! It’s fun to watch!
"My Classic Dart" was PRICELESS! Al is the man! Watching that trip to Clayton's was therapeutic for me. Yards down here in Pennsylvania don't have THAT many old Mopars, that's for sure. As always, great video!
I'm seeing more of this vintage Chrysler product at car shows. Even the station wagon restorations. They are so unique in their styling. I used to think they were ugly, but now they're coming around again. -Alec W. Minnenoplace, Minnesota
Ahh yes, another page of "Classic Darts". You have me laughing hard at 05:30 in the morning. I smoked for fifty years and quit almost 2 years ago. I did all what you're doing with darts in my garage at one time or another. You guys take me back FFS. This is better than any TV show or other stuff on You Tube....keep it up guys, you are a funny bunch. The automobile sections are very entertaining and instructional as well. Thanks for keeping it real in a complicated fucked up world !
"My Classic Dart" reminds me when I visited Peterborough Ontario in 1972. I was performing with my high school chorus (from Pennsylvania) in a singing competition. As the day wore on, I felt my manhood ebbing away. When we got back to the motel after the competition was over, I snuck out and bought some Canadian cigarettes out of a vending machine. They were ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Completely stale! Made me think Canadians would smoke ANYTHING! This episode just proved my point!
Alan Bradford That's funny Alan. We Canadians used to think the same way about American smokes as we thought they smelled like burning rubber. Stale smokes from anywhere suck so i can understand your feelings.
I once found an Embassy Regal down the back of a fireplace and in typical fashion I decided to smoke it. It tasted like mouldy shit paper and tea leaves. Not bad.
You guys crack me up 😂. I thought you were just going to break out the roach clips! "Oh, I don't really get much of a menthol taste", he says. "I give it a 2". Bahaha. Funny as shit! Anyway the fender and bumper looked great, I can't believe you found a white one. Really enjoyed this after a long day at work guys, thanks!
I said it before I'll say it again I never comment always like but never comment. But I gotta say you and all your agent post the best videos. From Courtland Al. Thanks!!
The classic darts segment was outstanding! This video was a little short on Frankers time, but as she getting her own channel that will be taken care of. Thanks for the video.
Hello from the colonies guys, I must say you guys are killing it with your ideas and what not. Am totally on the edge of my seat with each episode, especially with the newest added catagorie of "Shit Work". My classic darts running a close second. =;-) Anywho good look to both teams on the straight 8 challenge, All of ya'all are winners for even allowing yourselve's to be filmed whilst conducting such shenanigins. Keep on keepin' on gents and much luck from some guy that feeds cows.

Bob I thought the same thing, but it looked like the whole front end may not be there
@@joeboxer3365 I know I saw the backend of the cab.
Yess!!! CWM on a Sunday morn , kicking back with a beer an' a smoke . It doesn't get much better !
I find this stuff more riveting than most of my 5 years at the art academy.
Maybe because once in a while riveting is actually involved.
Love junkyards!! You saw some real gems! (Haven't seen a Cordoba in at least 30 some odd years!)
"My Classic Darts" -hilarious!!
That Mazada..can't be that bad. It still runs good( like my 94 Exploder). Like a Timex...Takes a lickin, keeps on tickin..
Classic Darts made me laugh more than once guys. Great episode.
Yes-Justin casually smoking in the rain: like a CWM commercial! Morning coffee, high af, and CWM-shaping up to be a good week.
Every one of these cars was someone's pride and joy at one time!!! I love going through a good junk yard!!! Keep Rocking it out!!!
That 55 Pontiac sedan delivery is super rare. Save it
On top of rarity, it's pretty!
@@BobPegram All of the above guys and it also looks pretty complete
@@joeboxer3365 I've learned to never assume an old car is in good shape by its appearance. True, you won't need rare exterior parts, as far as we can see, but this is a Canadian Pontiac, among other things it'll have a Chevy engine in it.
Oh, Clayton stores quite a few cars for collector friends... I assume that is one of them. Otherwise, yeah, I'd make an offer... Cheers!
Any other 55-57 chevys or Pontiacs in the yard?
Retro/vintage...Dart session is a special tuch...l recon....Nice...Thanks muchly...Ky.USA over and out...!
Super Classic Cars & Darts.... You're makin my day here!
Ah a cold beer after work and a Cold War Motors video all I'm missing is a fat joint and some good munchies
spending a saturday afternoon cruising the local junkyard. oooing and ahhhing at the totally trashed rust-buckets with small bushes and young trees growing out of the engine compartments. what fun!
I am very entertained by watching your video's and I like seeing these old cars and love the comedy you and your agents do.
Meteor dents, the bane of all body men.
Gotta love classic darts
We genuinely enjoyed the , junkyard safari ride , through Clayton's , in the Mazada
🙆♂️😄👏👏👏👏🔩🔧🏁
Lots of interesting automotive archeological projects 🤔
Clayton magnet. What a good Indian
mmm ,That '61 has a real slick roofline,,,,love it!
It was just like watching a factory tour, you guys fitting the new wing. Just brilliant.
Seems like a great bunch of guys to hang out with!
Really good, classic darts had me howling. So much fun. Clayton's is a gold mine. I can't wait for the next straight 8 episode.
WooHoo Sunday morning and it’s time to watch the latest from CMW. Have to take our fifty Dodge out to the local harbour to celebrate 80 years of our new port . But have to watch my classic darts first.
Hey Scott , I think you “need” the sedan delivery....
Player's Light, a perfect cigarette in the perfect package. Think I left that box in Lethbridge around February 1977.
OMG, this is the best channel. Forget television!
I had a teacher friend who bought an MPV 4x4 when it was new. He loved it. He liked the 4x4 function for taking the kids camping.
That MPV is friggin awesome
Exner.. "You want space age, just a sec, hold my beer!" - hilarious
Me encantan tus vídeos, y sobretodo poder ver algún día esa colección de autos de los 50tas, saludos cordiales desde México.
love your videos! Old cars, old cigs, and wild turkey! Good times.
SPIN-OFFS!!
Well, now that I've gotten the abdominal muscle cramps settled back down from all the belly laughs,
I can type fairly pain-free finally. :-)
Seriously, there aren't many better ways a fella of my advanced state of deterioration can occupy my time
in the wee hours of a Sunday morning and I do look forward to it so!
Made a lot of them back in the day, when there were still junkyards that had anything interesting in them AND you were actually allowed in them (there's several in this part of the country still, but
they've all gotten in trouble with the tax man or some such and have been closed for years now).
It's probably for the best or otherwise, I'd wind up with a Scott-like situation out here on the ridge, too.
I'm big on rescuing dogs as it is - imagine if I had the chance of rescuing junker Mopars, too!?!?
Holy hell...the mind fairly boggles.
Be safe up there and know your efforts go a lot further than simple entertainment for some of us,
-Ed on the Ridge
Thanks Ed! Glad you got a laugh out of this one like we did making it...Cheers from me and Frankers and the Agents!
Nice trip through the wrecking yard the days of yards like this are long gone in our state the state came triugh and crushed them all so many cars and yards love the 59 chevy 2 door wish we near you guys so many buildable cars and parts .
I liked the Mazda things neat
I LOL'd at this episode of Classic Dart...Editing, dialogue, and camera work resulted in an entertaining "window".
Hey thanks for saying so: We do have fun with that stuff... I just wanted to do something that would be unlikely to get ripped off, haha! Cheers from me and Frankers and the Agents...
@@coldwarmotors - HaHa! Yup. I think CWM will have *that* hard-earned territory all to itself.
Clayton’s yard always fun to see..darts always good fun..I’m impressed with the 4 wheel drive van from the 90’s ..that thing is dope
You guys got me drooling over all these cars!
we had a 98, automatic mpv. it was cool AF. diff lock, nice 4wd, but the head gasket blew and it never ran right once we got her back together so dad traded her lol but it was like an suv mixed with a minivan lol strange vehicle. The ebrake handle was only accessible to me (i'm the only one who was small enough) console placement wasn't well thought out LOL.
“My Classic Darts” had me laughing so hard I about coughed up a lung.
I wonder if any darts were smoked during this escapade to Clayton's junkyard?
Do smoking Nazis ever try and "convert" these guys to non-smokers or raise "smokeless" hell on the forum?
Bob Pegram luckily no
@@colinstables Good to know that none of "those people" show up on CWM! If they do, they forget how to type!
They actually might learn something useful if they did!
Glad you could find one man👍🏻👏🏻
Love hanging out with you guys i had to pause the video at the 22 minute mark to twist one up, lol.
Mission accomplished, The Belvedere looks like a real car now. Hope to see more of this project, that car has made a Exner fan out of this old Harley Earl supporter.
Excellent episode...Funny bastards..
“It’s the Cadillac of Minivans!” ~Get Stephen

Minnenoplace, Minnesota
Major improvement on the '61, and...
You guys need to host another back yard demo derby jamboree like the one 5-6 years ago.
thanks for the laughs
Back at 3am to watch the extravaganza - but here's a pre-emptive thumbs up until then. :-)
-Ed on the Ridge
Ahh yes, another page of "Classic Darts". You have me laughing hard at 05:30 in the morning. I smoked for fifty years and quit almost 2 years ago. I did all what you're doing with darts in my garage at one time or another. You guys take me back FFS. This is better than any TV show or other stuff on You Tube....keep it up guys, you are a funny bunch. The automobile sections are very entertaining and instructional as well. Thanks for keeping it real in a complicated fucked up world !
Enjoyed it...love roaming around in wrecking yards...
The highlight of my weekend
Love the dart museum
Barry McGuire called and he wants his Mazda back, best line in the video!
If nothing else it keeps part of your driveway dry!
Wonderful video, loved the tobacco museum experience.
Should tell that Clayton guy to mow.
Great episode Scott! Thank you for making my weekend!
Not bad.
Maybe got the tea leaf taste from sitting.
I can't imagine having to bundle up like that in August. Though even down here in NC it was only 69 and drizzly yesterday.
I love the classic darts specials!
I said it before I'll say it again I never comment always like but never comment. But I gotta say you and all your agent post the best videos. From Courtland Al. Thanks!!
LOL "and we're back" I almost lost my pepsi! Spot on bud, crazy people!
Some younger viewers may not understand what was edited out there.
Yet more fun. Stevens Mazda a real rarity, only a single door on the drivers side.
Scott 5 ⭐️ almost time for a another rally episode before the snow flys. The bumper was a score.
Love this Plymouth. Very cool. Don’t we just love adding new finds to the collection!
Plymouth is looking much better now very nice parts
Classic Saturday afternoon viewing. Thanks, cheers.
