the best part of this dream build is you didn't use any torque wrenches but instead a multi tool. sweet build, I did my own status 160 a few weeks ago but more of a "parts that I had build"
I am looking at a specialized status 160 for my next bike since the s4 ( lg ) has 30mm more reach than what I have currently( s3 has 12mm more )but the headtube is shorter by 10mm and the seat tube angle is 1.5 degrees steeper. I've thought about downsizing for this frame. I'm 6'2 and currently on a Commencal HT/AM Meta LG that has a reach of 450mm and is the perfect fit for me. I've been running it with a 170mm Marzocchi bomber. With the shorter reach, I'm still able to keep the front end down easily on climbs. My riding is mainly done on local trails, flowy, small jumps, and rollers with some punchy climbs. I've always enjoyed a smaller bike as I do not ride for distance and I've always liked a smaller frame. What would be your opinion?
Great video, well done. Do you remember which BB spacer did you use? 4.5mm did not work for me, so I went with 6mm, looks ok, but I would like to confirm which one you used.
@@peer_krueger slathering your headset assembly with that much grease ends up attracting dirt and leads to a creaky front end. A light application will keep things quiet for way longer and is all you need to prevent seizing and corrosion.
Sooooo ein geiiiiiles Produkt
😂😂🙏🏽😘

Wish I got to see some overview shots of the bike at the end. Looked super sick as far as I could tell.

Awesome build. Do you know how much the bike weighs?
Round about 15.6 kg 🙌🏼
@@peer_krueger yo that's sick because this bike usually weights like 36 pounds in stock configuration.
Have you learned since riding it that there is such a thing as too much grease?
What do u mean exactly
