I'm a 69 year old woman and I love your Chanel because you explain things so people can understand it. I've only been welding for a year and a half so I'm still learning but I'm enjoying it. Thanks Nancy
Thanks Nancy! Your not alone here. There are several female welders that follow this channel. Some of the best welders in this trade are women 👍 Thank you for your support. I appreciate it!
Rural Oregon here. I'm a farmer teaching myself to weld for farm projects. Your channel is the best channel I've found so far for the type of welding I'm interested in. Thanks Brandon

I am tuning in from Melbourne Australia and have gained so much from watching your videos.
I only recently started weling at 56 years of age and your tips have been so helpful for my son and I.

Thanks Michael! It’s a great hobby! Congratulations!
Hey Brandon Here in Oklahoma. Just started my fabrication journey about a year ago at the age of 55. Have learned so much from your you tube channel. Thanks for all of the great tips to help me in my journey
@wroberth1205 That is awesome! Thank you so much! 🙏
I have lived in New Mexico most of my life. I am a Contractor by trade and I'm always fabricating something at home in my shop. I think your videos are great. You have some great ideas and tips.
Thanks Garry!
Howdy from North Carolina, I do enjoy learning and seeing real folk doing real stuff. Thanks be safe and have fun
Thank you so much Bill! I appreciate it!
Georgia is where I live and have lived for about 10 years,,always interested in making stuff and last year I started teaching my self how to stick weld, your videos are my favorite especially the one where you fix an old trailer with you son, that inspired me to build my own low profile material rack for my truck out of scrap, thank you
Right on brother!
I’m from northern Ontario Canada I have a 14 year old son we watch your videos a lot to get some pretty good ideas we made your rifle target stand an that was fun. We use scrap metal for every thing we’ve made so far
@Rezkidgaming Yt thats awesome man that you got your son involved! You are passing on skills to him that he will use for a lifetime! Right on brother! 🙏👍
The chart was how I found your channel. I downloaded it to my phone and use it all the time. Thanks

@Brian-1ratbite1 thanks man I appreciate it! 🙏 good luck! 🤞
I'm just setting up my shop for personal use. I love your videos.
I'm from Maine & grew up, starting at 10 years old, doing mechanic work with my dad.
My Great Uncle Gerald Simpson owned a garage and did a lot of fabrication back in the 40s and throughout his career.
I've learned to fabricate and do many things with minimum tools let alone the proper ones...and they come out very good usually.🙂👍👌 As did my Great Uncle Gerald Simpson.
I like your style.👍
I would really love to have an awesome helmet to start my welding adventures.
I'm 63 and need good eye protection LOL.
I'll be doing MIG TIG and using a plasma cutter.
This would be so cool.
I usually don't win anything cuz I never enter anything, but thought I'd try this and see what happens👍😇👌
Right on David! Welding is an awesome hobby! I appreciate your support and good luck!
Victoria Australia, how ever I have been watching your videos for the last few months and been in the metal fabrication industry for the last year. Love the tips you share mate.cheers
Thanks Matthew! You are who I do these videos for. I just wish you lived closer lol.
Twin Falls, Idaho....Every one of your videos are very important to me as I am new to welding.....I tried wood working first, and while I understand the basics, I found that it is not for me....Then I found you....I now have a Millermatic 211 with a spool gun so I can learn to weld aluminum as well....Thank you so much for inspiring me.
Thank you so much for your great comment. 👍 I appreciate your kind words and support 🙏
I'm from New Brunswick, Canada. I'm still use my old optrel helmet I bought when I started welding 20yrs ago. Time for a new helmet. Love the look of this one.
Right on! Thanks for watching and good luck!
Hello from Arkansas! Just wanted to say thanks for all of your videos, they're all very informative and very helpful. Gotta say that the fabrication table and the porta-band saw table were very useful. Thank you for all that you do to help all of us who watch you.
Awesome, thank you! I appreciate your support!
Tennessee, the patron state of shootin' stuff. Really enjoy your videos.
Thanks for watching!
I’m from Queens, New York. I’m getting started on my own welding shop. Was working with my dad for a few years but it’s my time now. Great videos and I learn a lot from you.
Thanks Luiz I love NY! Queens and Brooklyn. Its been a couple years since i've been. I drove through upstate last year for the first time. OMG It was the longest damn state ive ever seen lol.
Alabama. Just a hobby welder and trying to learn more every day. Thanks for all the content.
Thanks Adam I appreciate it 🙏
Montana, I really like your way of teaching and way of explaining what you are doing fabricating. This helmet would be a fantastic upgrade from mine. Thanks
Thanks EZElk I appreciate you supporting the channel!
Pennsylvania - My 3 favorite videos Grinder Stand, Mag Drill Press, Porta Band Saw stand
@John Mclaughlin thanks man those are mine also. Build videos are always fun to do ;)
IOWA- You have motivated me to do more welding projects- having a lot of fun creating artwork, or fixing trailers and frames and fab work.
I appreciate that man! Now get to work! Lol. Your in! Good luck! 👍
Coming you from Texas. Started learning to weld last year at the tender age of 60. That helmet would look great while I'm building my cattle pens and chute. Great site and videos. You've been an amazing source of info.
Thanks Leon I appreciate your support and good luck buddy!
Illinois here..love your regular guy making stuff type videos. !!!
Thanks man I appreciate it! @Deranged Motosports
Brandon,
I'm in North Carolina. "My cup runneth over", and while I appreciate the opportunity to get that panaramic-helmet, I have no complaints with what I've got. I'm happy to learn from YOUR videos, and call you friend,( because you're in your element...you're a good teacher).
I'm a "newby", and I originally found you because I have to repair a cracked exhaust manifold, and do some other repairs on an old Dodge truck,( YOU introduced me to "Muggy-Weld"!) I'm trying to learn welding by videos as well as spending time with 5 High School seniors that are learning from the local Community College. This is something I've wanted to learn for a long time, but I've found myself in recent years saying I NEED to learn. Every time I turn around I need something welded!
Thanks for the videos!👍😊
Aww man I feel honored. Thank you very much for your support and encouragement 🙏 @Kent Hawkins
I like the common sense content. I have been upgrading my shop - I love to weld, fabricate and build things, so keep on putting the content out! I’m in California
Thanks Kerry I appreciate it! 🙏
From Oregon here. Thanks for all the videos. I really appreciate the simplicity you use in explaining things. I am getting ready to build my fab table soon. so the template video was immensely helpful. Anyway, thanks for the consideration. My current helmet is very poor quality and almost dangerous. It will revert itself to the lightest preset after sitting for a couple hours, so I have to keep all my presets at a weld level so I don't accidently forget to switch it to a weld setting.
Thanks Paul! And good luck in the giveaway!
Mr Brandon your channel is the best i was addicted to made in Poland .
However u explain all your doing and why .thank u for all the effort u put into your explaination .wayne from South Africa
@Wayne Pearson thank you very much! I appreciate your support! 🙏
Ohio! Thanks for being a stand up guy and trying to give stuff to the people that really watch the videos. I haven't been here long but I'm learning a bunch. You've answered my comments and helped me out. So the least I can do is watch like and comment. One of the best things about RUclips is helpful people like you my friend. Thanks for doing what you do.
As for this project. Don't they make those? I have one on my quad that has a 2 inch ball and a hole for a cart. Now it is no where near as nice as what you built. I got it long before I bought my welder. LOL just messing with ya. building
Where did half my comment go? Sorry... it cut out half my comment. I basically said building as you want it is more fun and better. But I did expect welded in pipe for the pin holes. If for no other reason to keep wasps from building a nest in there. Maybe that is a Southern Ohio problem.
@ADVJason thanks man! I really love the community we have here and I love that I'm able to give back to the people that support me. Thanks buddy I appreciate it 🙏
@ADVJason YT and FB have been acting up lately. I thought about adding a pipe but then I wasn't sure of the pin OD so I skipped it. If it gets wallowed out I'll have him send it back and I'll do it :)
@@BrandonLund I don't think he will have any problems. I just tend to overthink things sometimes. I'd more likely think bugs could get in there than ever have a problem with the metal.
Maryland here. Slowly learning to weld and this channel has been great.
@Rob H Thanks man and I appreciate it!
FLORIDA is the sunshine state. We weld year round with the bigger rods. Thanks for all you do for us Brandon and take care!
Thanks John I appreciate you being a part of the channel! 🙏
Hi Brandon, I'm currently building my shop from the ground up, just a hobbiest, I enjoy your videos and have learned a few nice tips from you, I especially like your honesty when you got the porosity. I'm regularly viewing your videos from California. Keep up the good work!
That is awesome! Thank you man for your support!
From the Good Ole State of Wyoming. Love getting your insights on your welding ideas and Fab work. Helps with developing and working on my own Skill Sets. Keep cranking out the High Quality videos. Thanks!
Thanks Taylor I appreciate it!
Michigan - My second-ever home welding project was bodging up a 1/2 inch NPT to 1/2-13 stud adapter with a HF Titanium 125 while creating a adjustable grill rack out of old pipe which suspends over the fire pit. My buds dubbed it practical art, and the steak was delicious. A better helmet will aid in precision. Love your simple direct methodical approach.
@Jeff Watson that sounds like a fun project!
Lovin your videos in Wisconsin. Very cool that you are trying to make sure the give away goes to folks who actually watch your videos. You have a great way about you that makes your videos informative and entertaining. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Chad I appreciate your comment! 🙏
Thanks for your videos, and how you describe exactly what your procedures are. I’m here in Hawaii and that welding mask would come in mighty handy, thanks for the opportunity.
@Reinhard Burkholder thanks for being a lont time surporter of the channel and good luck buddy!
Brandon, I am from Tennessee and I try to watch ALL of your videos because they contain so much information and I have learned so much. I have also bought so many of the products you use and have been happy with all of them. Take care my friend and I look forward to many more videos!!
Thanks Jim I appreciate your support. I won't talk up anything I'm using if I don't personally recommend it so I'm glad to hear you like it 🙏
Hey Brandon, I made something like that foe my brother in law awhile back. I'm from Illinois and love the way you explain things.
Thanks Steve! I appreciate your support on the channel and good luck! 🙏
I learn with every video you post I struggled with the end caps as I have no formal welding training. Will get bigger magnets and urilise my vice. Many thanks for eduecating whilst entertaining. Can't wait fir the next video. Blessings Johan Jansen Mpumalnga Province South Africa.
Brandon, Hello from Pennsylvania. Thanks for all of these videos. I bought a YesWelder 205DS after your review and it's been awesome so far! Plasma cutter next! That helmet would be a great addition to the setup.
As an aside, your technique videos were super helpful in getting started. I got a few lessons after watching and my technique advanced quickly. My instructor told me I was a natural but I know it's because I had a visual idea of what it should look like! Thanks again for helping this budding hobbyist!
Awwwww man Robert thats awesome! Thank you for sharing and congratulations on your machine!
Another good video. Wisconsin here. Pretty cool to make it available to only regular viewers. In the off chance I'm selected I would like to see it go to someone just starting out in welding. I've been welding for close to 40 years and have plenty of equipment myself.
@Mike duhm that's very kind of you! ❤
Texas Here! Hey Brandon, nice video. New welder here just about to try out shielding gas for the first time. Thanks for the explanations, they really help.
Thanks Joe! Good luck!
Nice fix on that stand and that hitch turned out awesome ! GOD Bless and stay safe TANK

Indiana here man. New to welding and fab work so I’m really enjoying your channel. Thank you
Welcome aboard! Thank you! 🙏
Windsor, Ontario, Canada but born in Ann Arbor Michigan. I'm not sure if Canadians can enter but here it goes. I enjoy watching your videos as you remind me of me as I do a lot of DIY fabrication from steel to wood to tinkering with small engine repair and auto repair as well. The best thing you have shown me is to utilize your basement as your workshop. I am planning to do the same finally as I have a 4' by 4' hole that goes from my garage to my basement. Thanks for all the videos. Oh I have a Post office box in Detroit if that helps. lol
Thanks Daniele you've been a long time viewer and this is who this giveaway is geared toward. The folks that watch for the content, not a giveaway thumbnail so ya a Detroit address works brother! Thanks for being part of the channel
Hello from Texas. That helmet will go well with my Yes Welder. Thanks for all you do on RUclips.
I agree Marty! Which one did you get?

Texas. Love your videos, especially was helped out by the layout advice for the fab table. I’m currently rebuilding my table and will be using a template like you built to help ensure accuracy. Of course that sweet welding hood would help that project too 😁
Thanks man I appreciate it! Good luck with your build
That’s a wicked nice helmet I’m still using the old jackson hood and I’m in need of new one but I can’t say I never win anything cause I’m still wearing the rock rooster boots I won from u keep up the good work there is a whole bunch of the younger generation that should be watching ur videos here in Maine

Thank you for the Great Content. Keep the video's coming! Ohio. I used your idea, the video you did about making a hitch for your mower. See ya next Friday.
BTW 2nd lol
Nice work on the piece you built, I am going through some of your older videos to pick up tips, picked up a few on this one.
Today I got the YesWelder gun for the vintage miller 250 to see if i could get it up and running, hooked it up but the tip that came with the YW gun was like 23 maybe 28 and I only have rollers for .35, hit a few stores because the welding supply was closed picked up some tips (not the same type) wasted about an hour doing that, got home and decided just to drill out the original tip that came with the gun, carefully got that done hooked up the gun, put on a 33lb spool of .35 and made several adjustments as I was not getting smooth travel with the wire and three times it knotted up at the roller site, Finally gave up on adjustments and just took out the liner in the yeswelder gun and put in the old miller liner which was quite a bit larger in diameter, then I had very little to no problems welding, it welds ye haw, right now though I could make better welds with my tomb stone lincoln, I need to play around a bit more with the mig. fun day learning as I go.
It's probably going to take some tinkering. It's good you went oversize on your tip. My LSW surprisingly carries the exact tip that came with the YW. A couple things, make sure your wire reel tension is low enough that it spins easy by hand but stops within a a quarter turn. Also make sure your drive rolls are set tight enough. Squeezing the wire tightly between your thumb and forefinger as you pull the trigger you should be able to make the wire slip through your fingers and slip on the drive rolls at the same time. If you can easily stop the wire coming out of the mig gun, you need more pressure on the drive rolls. Sounds like you are real close to getting this dialed in.
@@BrandonLund Now I didn't know that about squeezing the wire and pulling the trigger method I will for sure incorporate that tomorrow and give it a shot.
The massive cart they mounted this to is imo a waste of iron, picture a pallet jack handle going down to a spring and the two larger wheels, that what this is but even larger going down to the spring and two large three inch wide steel wheels close to a foot tall, and to top that off they wrapped around the front (minus where the handle goes down) Solid two inch stock square stock and 2/3 down the sides towards the back! and the waste is five inches on both sides from the welder, I want to trim it down on the sides get rid of the two inch square stock, weld a couple supports in the back after cutting Just to save space.
But yeah I am trying hard to dial this in, it really is a blast messing around with stuff like this and working out the bugs.
Brandon,
Thanks for your fabrication videos. I have the Yeswelder multiprocess 205DS and like its capabilities. The new Yeswelder helmet you are giving away looks awesome. It would be great to have the side visibility. Keep up the good work. Thanks for your channel.
@qfdforme that's awesome man I'm glad your enjoying it! That's a nice machine! 👌
