It brings a tear to my eye to see the greats paying tribute to my favourite ever musician. I’m 62 and I started listening to Jeff Beck when I was 14. A modest genius that accompanied me through my walks of life. God bless Jeff.
How blessed we are to have such talent in one house to bless a friend who is now a cherished memory, life is a journey and they have lived it to their fullest. Thank you for sharing this beautiful tribute ❤
🌈 Jah Bless 🌈 it's hard to believe, but I had at least something to do with Ronnie leaving Rod and the Faces and joining the Stones. It's kind of a long story but I was a Radio journalist and my assignment was to get an interview with Rod while Faces was in LA to play. Late one night, when I was sitting up with Ronnie having a few more drinks after closing time, in a drunken moment, I suggested to him that he should quit Faces and join the Stones. Then I went home and passed out. A day later when I showed back up at the Beverly Wilshire hotel, Ian Mclagan saw me and yelled "There's the MotherF***ER who broke up me Effing Band!" and proceeded to try to punch me out ! I’m overwhelmed with memories. I’ve been so fortunate to see all of these guys. Every song brings an emotional connection to the past. These are the songs that were the background music of our lives. ❤
This is quite beautiful, in every way, but it also serves to remind me that there never has been, and never will be, another person that plays the guitar like Jeff Beck.
As someone who never really followed Jeff or Rod, which is to say I never bought their albums, I remember when this song came out and I really loved it. This version being a worthy tribute to Jeff, just further shows what a great talent he was. The guitar work doesn't come close to the soulful scream that Jeff produced(imo). Rod's voice has stood the test of time beautifully. RIP Mr. Beck.

One of the absolute best recordings EVER, of one of the most beautiful songs EVER written, happened when Rod and Jeff released this tune! Kudos!! RIP Jeff Beck!!!
Rod Stewart what tone and sound that comes out of him, there ain't nobody like him anywhere anytime. Such an iconic voice. Ive been listening to him since the early 70's. To this day-no one has his presence and style. When he hits the stage he gets everyones attention.
Everything he sings sounds like a tailored for Vegas number. He's not even in the "greatest vocalists" conversation for the past half century of popular music.
Beautiful tribute to a family member, Jeff Beck. You guys have the most 🎉God given talent and it's sounding incredible 🎉🎉. Jeff is smiling down on his musical family. RIP,Jeff you will be missed 😢 💔

Spanning so many generations. Seeing Rod up there almost 80 years old. You can see the light of Joy in his face being up there with other legendary musicians all shining in their Golden Twilight years. I’ll never forget Junior high 1970-hearing some of Rods Stewart’s songs Blasting on the Radio. Beautiful young lady’s and a Nation In healing. The music at that time was Magical 🇺🇸
Great stuff from everyone who was involved with this great tribute gig to Jeff Beck, as well as the one on Tuesday. Big thanks as well to Matt Lee for the great videos. 👍🙏👍
I like how Rod hands his jacket to Eric Clapton😂 Eric is a good sport and folds it up and then carefully laid it down. Some other artist would have been taken back like "I'mnot your wardrobe person". Eric is a class act😂
Eric Clapton must enjoy putting these sorts of things together. I think he was instrumental in the Concert for George. Seems that he likes having a reason to get all these friends and talents together to play, while they are all still able. Nothing like losing a friend to make you want to get the rest of the gang together! ❤️ Really nice version of this great song.
Good to have an old friend you can hand your jacket to, and you know he’ll take care of it.
