Fun fact: This is the very first show that's *confirmed that Moony used his double bass drum Premier kit, which would soon evolve into his famous Pictures Of Lily kit in '67.
thats right Ian it is on that great website that says all about his kits what they are made of and stuff , it is thanks to that Iam able to identify birch drums by their "bang "and the 70s mahogany [african ]by the warmth and depth . apparently he had 2 of the red sparkle kits made , there is a guy I think it is on Yt or google image , who bought up a collection of 60s red sparkle and eventually had his twin 22" and 3 toms and 2 flloor toms he also had the correct Rogers hardware and 60s premier cymbal stands , I last saw it for sale on google images for a really cheap price
Its to bad that the sound quality is so bad, because this seems like a really good show. Dancing In The Street and Daddy Rolling Stone are the highlights. Its also interesting because of the very rare live recording of A Legal Matter. My copy of this show has some very badly off speed sections. This sounds a little better than mine.
you are being very generous with the C+ on this one - not quite as bad as the little terrible clips Ive heard from the NME pollwinner awards in 1967 though - I wish someone would find that show...
To ten który brzmi jakby ktoś puszczał to z nokii 3310 i ktoś inny nagrywał to drugą nokią 3310
Mój ulubiony typ nagrań koncertowych

+hellomcflyy Are you sure? There isn't even documentation The Who played there in '67 at all..?
+Ian Weil oops - I was thinking of Cream -but - the clip still sounds worse than this one...heh
This is no doubt one of the very worsts I've done. Can't blame it though, it's only 1966!
+Ian Weil you've gotta take what you can find...too bad personal recording tech wasn't just a little further along by the mid 60s -
This will be cleaned up soon. A diligent sound engineer could do it. Hours of fun!
