Congrats on 300k!!!!!!! I have been with you for like 6 years now and I have all of your books. You provided my childhood with something creative to do other than video games. I was never really a sports kid and I was introduced to origami through your channel. Fast forward a few years and I'm 15 now and I see how much work you have put into this channel and you are like the only creative origami youtuber left who is still making your own designs. All of the other big origami youtubers are not being creative and teaching designs from someone else. I have seen a steep decrease of creativity but it seems your channel has stayed safe. Part of the reason I don't do origami much anymore is because the lack of new things being made that I actually want to fold. Luckily I always know I have your channel!
Hi Cameron, Thanks for the super feedback! Ya, after so many years I honestly still love folding and coming up with new designs. But my designs tend to be simpler than a lot of advanced folders are wanting. For advanced folders who want more of a challenge, I recommend they check out Seth Friedman's channel, or Mariano Zavala's, Tim Rickman's or Henry Pham's channels.
JeremyShaferOrigami What is so great about your origami though is that it is simple, with a great result. Some origami models are way harder than they should be for the result. Yours are easy with a good turnout! Keep it up!
Great instructions! I mirrored the folding so I can have more of the serial number show for the case of a starred note and it worked perfectly. Thanks!
The best origami teacher on You Tube! Your instructions are very clear and concise ( with a little humor thrown in). I personally like the dolphin and the automobile. Keep up the great work.!😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Thank you for this fun and sharp lookin car! I especially appreciate the excellent camera work you use to allow us to view the small and difficult folds. Your pacing is also helpful!
Hey Jeremy, I'm wondering if you could make a Christmas tree topper. My family has never had a star for the top of the tree and I thought it would be fun to fold one. I've seen a couple but none of them pleased me. I'd love one that could actually be places on the top of the tree
Ah, now this is a sweeeeeet ride! I modified the tail a little by folding the white portion over the top and then bisecting that backward to make a small spoiler. Really, really nice model. I will definitely be showing this off! Thanks for the wheels, Jeremy!!! :))
Thanks! I hear some market places appreciate origami dollar cars (in both definitions of the word 'appreciate') so folding this model really is a good bet. You see, I encourage people to try to make money selling models of mine that they have folded. Vincent the origami Artist sells dollar origami on Ebay and that's fine with me, but I do request to be named as the designer in the description. I know you weren't really asking about that, but, oh well... you got more than you bargained for! ;-)
You actually don't have to unless you want to. The car will be a little wider but it should still look good (except you'll have to imagine (or draw on) the wheels.
Hi jeremy I was just wondering if you saw my demo and tutorial on the 1$ FIDGET spinner and if you could teach it on your channel. I'm OK if you say no.
Yes and I saw your tutorial too. I do it similarly but I try to tuck in that middle flap so that it looks exactly like the one from a square. I actually like making the Simplest Fidget Spinner out of a dollar because the weight and strength of the paper makes it spin extra well. Yes, I might teach it on my channel but not as a Wednesday video... or else I will face the wrath of a large segment of my viewers who are anti-fidget-spinner. The irony is that the Simplest Fidget spinner video I did last Friday has more views than my last four videos combined!
Hola Alberto... Y esa es algo positivo??? Donde vives? En Peru, Jodiendo es como bromear pero pesadamente, y en Mexico creo que es una palabra vulgar. De todas maneras... gracias por tu appoyo! Saludos!
With the 3 X 7 rectangle its the same. The only fold that uses the pattern on the dollar is the first one, and that can be estimated or omitted all together (the car will end up a little wider).
JeremyShaferOrigami thank you so so so much for responding this made my day i knew you would understand I got one question to ask you what camera do you use for your tutorials ☺😃 PS keep the beard ☺
Jeremy, Leave the Beard and Please Please Please make a video showing how to make the Dollar Bill Milk Carton. I have been dying to make that model for years now. And also If you could do The Dollar bill twist box on "HIVE" that would make my century. I hope you are at the Origami Convention In Redondo Beach Ca. this year so I can finally meet you. I have been a follower and buying all your books etc. and teaching people where I work. I Love your stuff. Your models are absolute Brilliance and I have been folding for a long time Now. Any way this model is my new Fave.
I messed up. I NEED A REFUND. JEREMY GIVE ME A DOLLAR BACK XD. Nah man I love your vids keep them up and btw I would love if you could make a easy flash bang thing because all the others I failed.
Hey Jeremy you know it works with a piece of printer paper cut long way half and fold it in half and you got almost the same size but cut it of course👍

If I try to fold it from a 3 by 7 Rectangle , do I need to make those wheel marks and fold across?
You actually don't have to unless you want to. The car will be a little wider but it should still look good (except you'll have to imagine (or draw on) the wheels.

With the 3 X 7 rectangle its the same. The only fold that uses the pattern on the dollar is the first one, and that can be estimated or omitted all together (the car will end up a little wider).
just use those fake dollar bills in kids stores. easier than tracing a dollar.
