Seeing how Sonic CD was one of the few classic Sonic games fully developed in Japan, I think this game reflects very well a more eastern philosophy, where balance should be the ultimate goal and all that good stuff. Or maybe I'm just overthinking a kids game from the 90's lol
@@gabrielshishido9965 it’s alright, the themes are expanded upon in this game so will that they may seem too complex for a kid’s game about a blue hedgehog. The entire sonic franchise was carefully constructed until 2006 and in my opinion, this game is a sequel done right.
We must learn from the past, use it to improve the present, and then we'll get a good future. If we act carelessly and selfishly, we'll get a bad future.

Lil’ story here. So I was playing the level select in CD and started on Palmtree Panic Good Future. But for some reason it kept putting me in the Good Future as I went through each zone. I could never get that to happen again but it was nice while it lasted.
I like how that one OC Remix track titled it: Whackass Workbench. Gosh it’d be fun and worth coming back to if the floors didn’t send you over freaking moon in uncontrollable and unconventional ways before your unwanted SpaceX travel deal is due short by JETS OF NITROGEN or EXPOSED TESTLA COILS

I have a weird head scratcher about this game and it's that stardust speedway and collision chaos have cities even though there are literally no inhabitants of little planet to live in them other than the animals and the past version of stardust speedway which seems to be a greek/roman like city along with the secret statue in wacky workbench past time could there have been an ancient civilization in little planet i don't why I'm overthinking this.

Why the heck does this make me want a Modern Sonic only version?! I HATED PLAYING SONIC CD! The Infuriating UFO Special Stages and Asinine Machine placements will haunt me until the day I die. I did the Christian Whitehead version too. So I can’t imagine how POed I’d have gotten if I had to play the original.

I always had an affinity to oldschool house music, even learning to dance to it. Guess I owe that to Sonic & SEGA for introducing it to my childhood.
