Tidal Tempest still changes, but turns into a giant aquarium instead of Robotnik's aquatic landfill. The quartz is probably still mined in Quartz Quadrant, but in a safe, environment friendly way. Same can be said about the factory in Wacky Workbench - safer, smoother, probably powered by green energy. Robotnik's fortress in Metallic Madness is still, well, very mechanic, but its machines are now used to breed rare plants. The future is not about abandoning progress. Just sidestepping to avoid being reckless.
100% agreed. The message in Sonic CD was never 'technology bad, progress bad, nature good' but that these things are not mutually exclusive to one another; they are two sides of the same coin-too much of either will result in negative effects on both society AND nature.

Excluding Speedway and Quartz USA and even though i like the USA Palmtree i still give the edge to the Japanese palmtree, the rest of the Good Future tracks belong to the Japanese soundtrack.. the Bad futures on the other hand the USA tracks trounce the Japanese versions for me

I think both are wonderful, but I'll always prefer the American OST because beating a boss with THAT music feels like not being scared anymore. You don't just beat the boss, you also defeat the music by making it stop.

Just destroy the generator and metal sonic hologram, then travel to future. If you restart the level you'll still be in the good future
