From what I could gather from Sunny’s Mom’s case… Sunny’s isolated himself in his room aka “whitespace” for over 4 years, and the mother wasn’t at home most of the time, stacked dishes everywhere, he couldn’t take a bath, let alone therapy or at least emotional support is never mentioned in the game alone. If we’re theoretically speaking she wasn’t usually there at the house because of this tragedy. And for Sunny’s case he had his own headspace where he had these purified versions of his family, friends, and people around the world. So it’s highly possible that Sunny might’ve had some type of vision for his Mother to be a sweet and loving mother, but due to her grief and how tragic this was she couldn’t. And she ended up having some type of disorder that further plummets her down leading to her neglect of Sunny thinking he would’ve actually taken care of himself instead of embracing the hurt that was brought to both of them. Speaking of which there was barely if not none of any nutrients in the refrigerator besides expired steak. And in the game it is implied he hasn’t come out of the door even when Kel tried to knock on it after so many years. So yes, the mother is neglectful, and it’s pretty realistic how angry the court is at first. However, she was understandably in grief over her oldest daughter, but she was the adult in the situation and had the responsibility to emotionally support Sunny and make sure that he was well fed, hydrated, and able to get out of the room if they couldn’t afford therapy or have a psychiatrist talk to him. So in conclusion, Sunny’s mother would’ve been sentenced to prison.

Dude this feels weird like genuinely weird, Omori feels like one of those comforting games that is personal, and everything feels excused despite everything. Phoenix Wright is where the *law* is involved, like two atmospheres in one it genuinely feels so weird.

Random data here It's implied that sunny's parents knew what really happened, but still because both the victim and culprit were siblings, it was an accident and all, sunny's parents chose to not do or say anything And that's the problem, they never did anything to help sunny, damn I'm sure they resent him, sunny's father supposedly left, and his mother leaves him stale steak, well at least they didn't ruin his reputation and staid silent, but still, I think the way sunny's parents got throught the ordeal is much more sickening that the accident and how basil and sunny staged it because they were 12 when it happened, they were children and panicking, sunny's parents are adults and could've supported their remaining kid, i get having resentment, but don't show it Is it just me? The shi ids aren't bad by any means. They just have no other support besides the trio that we have atm. Maybe in the future their potential will rise with new (hopefully) shi ids (ryoshu). It is still fun to see them in action every now and then.

what i really like about this video is that its basically the best outcome if sunny told the truth, not only does his closest friends forgive him, and the judge giving him a sentence of community service for one year with 2 hours a day which is not that bad, but he gets to actually stay with his closest friends by getting adopted by the kel family instead of moving away which is just sweet asf😭😭😭 also another thing is that ik that sunny's dad left the family and sunny's mother rarely comes home every now and then but i dont think i remember anything hinting towards sunny's mom being verbally abusive inside the game but whatever, a fan-concept is a fan-concept so things can be off character or plot, still awesome video👍

Honestly Forever would've made an interesting passive Stand character, a character who summons objects to attack and ensnare the opponent. However that would limit him to just a specific stage, it'd make no sense to fight him at any other stage.

for all the haha funny memelord edgy teenager content in this game, the writing gets actually heartwrenching sometimes. the dislogue in the id boss battle will haunt me for as long as i live. at 2:54:44 when it says "look at my giant, ugly body. isn't this punishment enough" i fully started crying because it felt so raw and relatable idk
