- Hi guys and girls,
On today's video we fished a new area. We started off the morning really early throwing red bait, but the water was crystal clear at a spot we knew we might find some musselcrackers!
Soon we will get them, and i am very excited for that!
We moved to a few different spots, looking for some colour in the water... and finally between te kelp we found some nice brown water moving in. Luckily we packed the right bait, fresh chokka and Octopus and we were on! We are so used to fish in the kelp, we had a big advantage!
My Dad was fishing with us and on a trip like this it's only a succuss if there is a keeper for the pan. I kept my first fish, a nice 5kg plus SIlver Kob and we enjoyed eating that.
We caught the fish on Saturday, ate some of it on Monday, and also finished editing the video Today so that it can be uploaded and be ready for tonight! It really does take a lot of hours editing these video's, and i would really appreciate if you SUBSCRIBE to my channel, (it's Free)

Awesome video as per usual, lekke fun with the cobbies, 1 question, why do you guys strike with a circle hook, isn't that the reason you lost some fish?
100% We call it ‘Viskoors’ just an reaction, but normally i give the fish a second or two, Kob is quite aggresive, so 90% of the time they just pull you flat or your line just fall flat, this is what happend. The fish came towards me and didnt turn his head yet
