Kob, my favourite fish! Stefan and I headed out to target a big kob, my focus was on catching a big kob on lure! Stefan managed to land 2 decent kob on live mullet and I managed to catch a smallish kob on a paddle tail!

Wicked episode mate I love a big octopus leg when fishing the beach in Australia.
Would love to see you travel over and fish the beaches you would love fraser island in Queensland Australia. Some spectacular scenery and catches.

Great video! I am trying to figure out what reel I should be using to fish for kob in the surf with lures... I have seen a variety of suggestions from 4000 to 6000... sizes differ from brand to brand as well then so not sure what I should be targeting... the budget is 2000 so not wanting to go crazy in the higher-end models... any suggestions would much appreciated as I have been all over the place trying to figure this out and comparing specs, etc...

Am fishing exact same set up as your Championship #5 , thanks for the heads up on the JDB DNA actual weight. with your casting the 6 Oz weight plus mullet what leader are you using . Great videos as always !!!
