Stunning location and beautiful weather. Over the years, and from watching many yak fishing vids from multiple content producers I get the feeling that the general CT area has been fished hard and that all the big fish have long been taken leaving only small to medium models. Would that be an accurate comment or because of the cold water and natural species the size of fish caught are generally on the small side?

Hey Rob, thanks for the comment. I don't have first-hand experience with old-time fishing and sizes but I have heard that the fishing was waaay better back then.
I'm not sure if the sizes have decreased over time but there has been some decent size Atlantic Bonito and Yellowtail landed that I have seen. Not every day though.
The species of fish (Jacopever) caught in this video don't get very big. In fact, one of the fish I caught was 38cm and set the club record for this species. Pretty chuffed. Lovely tasting fish.
