Agreed. I watched this a lot in Austin when I lived there. I’m 44 and hung around a lot with people 10 years younger than I and introduced them to this. This is her best era I think.

I discovered Kate in 1980 in 1992 my boyfriend at the time ripped the vinyl off my record player and threw it across the room violently crashing it to bits while claiming “she’s a witch” I was listening to The Dreaming at time. Made me love her even more.

The amusement park Efteling is still there and very popular. If you ever find the time to visit the Netherlands, the Efteling is a day worth spent to visit. I don’t recognize the location of the first video. Probably near Vrouw Holle and Snow White, but those locations have been renewed 2 times. ‘Wuthering heights’ was filmed in Spookslot. ‘Them heavy people’ was filmed in the indian Lillies (and Spookslot). It’s still there. The lake in ‘The man with the child in his eyes’ video, disappeared even before I visited the Efteling the first time (1982). I guess it’s where aquanura is now.

Ik vindt het zeer apart. Ook trad ze toen bij muziek programma Toppop. Leuk om terug te zien. Echt tijdloos.

I agree that without RUclips we would never ever be able to see such wonderful lost and unknown video clips such as this. It would be so wonderful to have someone do a 4K scan of the original film used to make this special. Since almost all of her promotional videos were shot on videotape it would be awesome to see this and other documentaries on Kate shot on film in high resolution scans. Hey, I can dream....
Never saw this before. EMI put a compilation of Kate's videos together after Hounds of Love came out. Then I started to get into her more and went backwards because of the video compilation. She did this before videos really existed. Not cheap then. But this from TV? I've never even seen pix from this. Groovy.

I’m still sour that last year Efteling closed and demolished the haunted house where the clip for Wuthering Heights was shot. Wonder what happened to the Kate Bush gravestone that was there. 😢
That sits in the Efteling museum, although the last time I checked, I don't remember seeing it anymore... Maybe it had to make room for other things, or it was relocated and I did not look well enough. Too bad that only a U-matic is left. I had this taped myself back then, but the U-matic is better in quality than I remember my own. Broadcast was way better though. Too bad the 16mm was lost (incredible, I cannot believe it, look better please in those archives...)

I'm totally in love with 1978,I really wanted the '70s to last forever esp after the horrific decade that was the hideous '80s.The 70's era Kate is the best,sadly I couldn't get into her later 80's stuff or beyond, like so much else around at the time it did nothing for me except depress me. The 70s forever.Too bad WoW wasn't amongst those songs.
