The best part about Secret Life is realizing what's going on after watching someone else's video. This is the first series that makes it 100% worth it to watch everyone else's perspectives. Sometimes it even makes the original member's episode even better, realizing everything else that's going on.

Bdubs, this is a formal thank you. While great Etho's last episode was considerably shorter than an hour, my routine was ruined and the only thing breaking the silence was the humming of my computer fan, but thanks to your formal apology he went back to his nearly an hour long ep(with more bdubs!)

the tag dynamic is such a good one; watching it play out both in episodes of the tag players but also in the background of others episodes has been incredible
Task Idea: Compliment 5 seperate people regarding a fictional aspect of their appearance. E.g. "Nice sunglasses" to someone without sunglasses. You cannot get called out.
Task idea: You are going through a personality crisis. After every interaction you have, you must take on the personality of the person you had the interaction with (when the interaction involves more than one person you can decide what person to morph into).
The game of tag had Bdubs SO PARANOID the whole time it was great! Also I'm really loving the Etho-Bdubs interactions this series is giving us

Knowing ethos task beforehand honestly makes for the best viewing experience for this one. Absolutely amazing seeing him desperately struggle in silence
Task Idea: you are the main character of the session. You must narrate your adventures. Any player you meet, you must treat them like an NPC and either make a trade with them or help them with a task successfully. You must interact with at least 4 players. You lose if anyone asks if you are the main character or if they accuse you of treating them like an NPC.
Best episode ever! More Bdubs and Etho, and the pressure every time Bdubs got tagged is always funny.
Task idea: prevent Bdubs from talking to Etho for the whole session

Right before Bdubs tagged tango, I realized that the way the task was written (assuming they were all written the same) meant they could all four win, but only if no one ever tagged anyone. And then...
bdubs just misunderstood the task at first. scot’s book said he was it first, so if no one tagged anyone, scot would’ve failed. bdubs explains it at 19:08
@@pogzz Scott's book was the same as everyone else's, but he went out of his way to ask so he was told he was it because none of the books actually said. So same result, but I still think if he hadn't asked _and_ Bdubs hadn't tagged tango they all would have successfully completed the task as written. ;)

@@carpedm9846 Yes, unless you read it exactly as written. Exactly as written, the win and lose conditions were clearly spelled out. Anyone who wasn't it at end of session and hadn't lost at the break wins.
Task idea: every time someone asks you a question, you must answer by saying something then immediately contradicting yourself. E.g: “how many hearts are you on?” “I’m on 19 hearts. Yeah feeling pretty good on 18 hearts. Yeah yeah 27 hearts yeah”
Task idea: Ask someone what their task is from last week, this is what you now have to do. If it’s impossible to complete then re-role for a harder task, also yellows have to guess the words in this book to make you fail! Good luck!

HARD TASK IDEA (I think this one’s pretty good):
Part 1: You must gift 5 people a flower and a compliment. The flower and compliment have to be unique for each individual. They must know the flower is from you, you have to hand it to them yourself, and you must give the compliment and flower at the same time.
Part 2: after you have given someone a flower and their compliment you must immediately run away. You are not allowed within 5 blocks of them for the rest of the session or you fail (this goes for all 5 people).
If either part of this task (the flower and the compliment / not being allowed within 5 blocks of certain people) is guessed by ANYONE you fail.
[is harsh I know, but a hard task is supposed to be hard]
Secret task idea: You are a shapeshifter. Put on another players skin and go hang out with a group for 10 minutes, you can stay silent and be crouching, but if you get called out, you fail.
To be honest Etho is WAAAY to good at confusing other people about his task
It's too bad that the tasks aren't tested beforehand. There have been so many tasks that were ambiguous. Just this episode where it wasn't clarified who started the tag and also it wasn't made clear that for Pearls task dispensers were allowed.
for pearl's task, it explicitly said it had to be in somebody's inventory at all times. dispensers shouldn't have been considered allowed
@@solarprogeny6736 but it was ruled as "in the spirit of the task" and allowed. That's exactly what testing could help clarify in advance.
If Pearl's task is interpereted exactly as written, it is impossible to succeed, as to give an item to someone it has to, under all circumstances, leave the player's inventory.
Testing is absolutely a good idea.

Task idea (inspired by what etho was doing, but this time it’s an actual task): You and [two other player names] must constantly praise [other player] for the whole/half of the session (whichever works better), the other two people you need to do this with have their own different tasks, so you must show this to them for them to join in, and yellows must call put everyone involved for you to fail.
Task idea:
You get two task books. One book is a real one, and the other is a decoy. Your real task is to give the other book to a random player and have them help you out with whatever the fake task is. Note: that random player cannot be a red. The decoy book can be a random task that involves another player to help. If the other player does not help you complete that decoy task, you fail.
Hard task idea: You must keep yourself at 5 hearts or less for the rest of the session, if you die you fail. However if you win you not only get your rewards for your hard task but can also select one player to do a hard task next session.
Task idea: find someone who failed their task, whatever their task was is now your new task, the person could've either failed their task this session or last session.
Task Idea: Convince at least 10 different people that you failed your task. You have to tell each of them a different task that you failed.
Secret task: get someone equipped with curse of unbinding leather armour chestplate. Could be done with dispenser or deception.
Oh that'd be devastating... Not only for this life, but potentially for the next one if it stays in because of keepinventory.

Task Idea - you are the Adoring Fan reincarnate - you must follow another player around, constantly reminding them how wonderful they are and shower them with gifts. For a yellow to successfully guess your task they need to use the words “adoring fan”
Task idea: You and {other player} both have this task. The person that has less hearts at the end of the session wins, the other fails.
Amendment: Color doesn't matter. If equal hearts, you both fail.

task idea!: repeat every question, or last thing said to you in a pensive mumble, as though you are taking notes or analyzing the other person like a doctor. pauses for dramatic effect before answering the interaction is encouraged.
