I love these setting videos bro! I will definitely be re-watching these vids as soon as I get a EOS R. I think it would be cool to have a playlist dedicated to settings and set ups? Like different cameras , mics, etc. Just a thought! Love it bro! Keep grinding!
Aye appreciate you man! Trying the best I can. Sorry to hear that too man, try to put that extra time into ur content if you feel up to it, it’s def helping me 👍🏻
Another great video! I also decided to go with an EOS R. I commented on one of your other videos on the RP that I was getting that, but I found myself wanting the EOR R more :D
1st thank you so much for your amazing vedios .. I am using that lovely cam , but I want to ask , On photo mode , why when connecting the cam to monitor with hdmi , the cam screen is off & only the monitor work ??? How can I make the cam screen & the monitor work together in photo mode ???
Hey man! Maybe baseline isnt the Best word. From what ive read/heard 400 is where this camera performs best. If I can find the article i read awhile back ill try to link it. Honestly I remember reading that once and also i heard Matii haapoja say it so it confirmed it for me! Might be worth some further testing tho. Thanks for watching tho!
hey man pretty new to your channel but wanted to say I like what you're doing and think you've got pretty big potential here with this channel so keep it up! 😀
@@JHawk I already saw it lol! Everyone else on youtube is posting 1 hour videos on the menu. No one posted the actual setting you change before shooting a picture or rec a video. Especially for people like me that are new to the Canon ecosystem it was really helpful. :)
I was just trying to figure up how to shoot a picture for some reason it won’t take it !! And I didn’t see those same setting as you even though I pressed the same buttons you did ..
Am loving your content for new mirrorless for canon. I was just wondering would you be able to make another video for the setting for canon eos rp photography ?
Hey thank you so much for watching in for the comment! I am also loving the mirrorless canons. Oh good idea maybe I will do that I will say I think a lot of these settings will apply to that one as well but maybe I’ll make a separate video. Appreciate you!
Aye thanks so much! Glad you found it helpful. The 160 is great for handheld, thats usually what im at, obviously lighting will always change things a bit but its a great starting point! Cheers!
Very good video! I would offer one nit-picking bit of advice. When you are recording in a close-up mode, using hand gestures can be very distracting to the viewer. Hand gestures add emphasis when at least a person's upper half is seen.
If you guys like this style of video let me know! Appreciate you guys watching, back to editing!
Wat lense are u using....
@@michelleadeyinka2972 he says it in video
Trash button to bring the focus point back to center was worth the whole watch!
Haha thanks for watching!
Yeah right changed my life

Aye congrats! Its a beast i think youll love it. Let me know how you like it! Appreciate you watching.

@@Francisfphoto_ Will do! Unsure, maybe ill do some testing!
JHawk did you find the Sweet Spot ISO for the RP bro?
@@Francisfphoto_ Can't anywhere no, ive just been sticking to 400 or under if I can and looks great for me

@@JHawk thats what im having trouble with finding photo mode
Personally i shot a lots in CRAW, don't really find the difference in the quality with the RAW files, it saves pretty much of space in my card too...
That is a good point! Honestly haven't tried that out much but thats a some good info. Might try it out, appreciate you!

Hi JHawk, nice video. Just subbed!
Will get out your video setting and interesting to know about the 1/160th SS and 400 ISO baseline

Love this!
what if you want the whole picture to be in focus. what do you set it on then?
Need your aperture to be higher then like f11 or above
Thanks dude
No problem man!
Hi sir need help my high speed continuous is not enabled. Do you have any idea how can I enabled it? Thank you so much!
Hmm not sure, must be in the wrong shooting mode, youd have to mess around a bit. It should be there!
Thank you for the video. Which focus could you recommend for 24-105 lens?
Depends on what you’re shooting! Trial and error
May I use this settings for a 24-105 lens?
Don’t see why not!

Thanks for the feedback ill keep that in mind
When I try to take a picture with my EOS R, it keeps saying busy. What can I do?
Hmm maybe its a bad memory card??
Hola, una pregunta, hay diferencia entre la RP y la R en nitidez en fotografía??
Very nice video….I just had to slow down the video as you spoke too quickly.
Thank you!
Can you send me some photos that you taken from this camera and video too..
Haha no sorry, included what I like to share!
Dope video. Only thing wrong with it was that “Ohio Against The World” flag in the back lol. #SteelersNation
Hahaha ah damn! But appreciate that man, thanks for watching and for the comment. I’ll let it slide with my browns 🤣
