AMAZING video, thank you so much!!! Did a double fan replacement using this video and it was successful. IF YOU ARE ONLY REPLACING THE FANS - You can skip the battery removal part entirely (The video for you is from 15:00 - 27:00) - You do not need to remove the wifi module bar but you do need to disconnect the wifi cables from the logic board. Apple is so annoying for this lol but I appreciate your overall clarity in disassembly. Saved me thousands of dollars

Hi TEKDEP, I just used your video to replace the keyboard and backlight on my macbook pro 2021 16". Went without a hucup and all now working beautifully, thanks a million and keep doing what your doing (y)
Hi, unfortunately I found your video after broke that flat on 2:14 where you say that is easy to brake, I didn’t unlock just pull the cable! I would like to know if I need to be worry or is just change the flat cable?
We did need the keyboard intact, but if we come across a laptop that we can disassemble the keyboard in to pieces than will for sure make a video for that Alone, probably it won’t be as easy a the older models I assume.
Is the speaker grill just for show? Like it's not a hole at all? Since it seems like from the video that the grill is just on the outside and on the inside like there isn't any hole. It's just solid. Anyways good video!!
Good one! i have checked that and the answer is that the speaker grill has actual hols but only about 20% of what you see is actual hols and rest is only for show, if you want to see for your self than visit this link below that takes you to our website to see the actual pictures that is taken against the light and the hols are fully visible . good luck and thanks for watching :) tekdep.com/2021/12/11/16-macbook-pro-a2485-model-2021-speaker-hols/
Luckily no you don’t, you need to remove antenna module since display cable pass from under the WiFi antenna, next disconnect the lcd to logic short video flex cable, remove the hinges Covers cap and the Actual hinges Screws that are holding the LCD ( both side ) and last disconnect the sleep sensor cable ( tiny flex cable) from the right side hinge tip that is Connected to the logic board and you should be able to remove the entire display. Good luck
Great video - thank you for that. Do you have a video how to remove the keyboard? (mine has a foreign keyboard, which I'd like to replace with a US keyboard)
Thank you so much, we don't have a video for only keyboard replacement but we have the English US version keyboard part if you need that, link is below A2485 Replacement Keyboard for 2021 16″ Apple MacBook Pro & Pro Max M1 EMC 3651 tekdep.com/product/replacement-keyboard-for-2021-16-macbook-pro-pro-max-m1-a2485-emc-3651/
We try our best to be the best, we will be making a video for a no display/black display A2485 as soon as possible! Thank you for your recommendation and support.
Hope all is well, you can find that on our website Tekdep.com Here is the link to the Lcd display Assembly tekdep.com/product/gray-full-lcd-display-screens-assembly-for-2021-apple-16-macbook-pro-a2485/
@@tekdep My son spilled some water on his M1 and I was able to tear it down, inspect it(no serious water inside), and reassemble with no screws left over and all flex cables intact. Started right up! I have disassembled a few old laptops before, but always caused some damage and leftover screws so I was pretty terrified to take apart my sons new computer that he requires for his job. This video was a life saver!
Everyone wants FaceID on the macbook but what they forget is that with FaceID screen replacements go from already expensive and time consuming, to eye watering expensive and impossible thanks to the fact that FaceID is paired to each motherboard for security.
There is no battery for Macbook 2021. Mine is 80% capacity just in 9 months. I only use browser, youtube, photos. No hard editors, no video editor, no gaming. Just like I did with my tablet. I cannot understand that I will have to change battery every 9 months.
What a poor design. What is sad is several years ago you could buy a laptop and if it needed a simple upgrade or repair, an end user could do it even if they had a minimum of experience working on PC's. On an older laptop, ANYBODY could have safely and pretty cheaply replaced a battery. This is a $3000.00 machine and if it is out of warranty, you are at Apple's mercy for getting it repaired. Hard drives, ram, and many other components were also pretty inexpensive. Even sadder is every year, more and more non-Apple PC's are being made the same way. The manufacturers get richer and the landfills get fuller. Great video though!
Wow, goes to show you how horrible the engineering is on Apple's part! The deliberately design those fragile flex cables to get easily torn or damaged and what's with that weird battery pack(s)? never seen something like that! should be just a single battery with a robust connector on it going to the motherboard and held down with a bracket rather then some weird tape strips! And no removable memory or SSD? UNACCEPTABLE! Horrible Apple!!!

Plz bro, make a dissembling video of the 14” 2021 too. Plz. Plz. Plz.
Absolutely, Next week will have the 14inch Teardown and ill post the link here :)
Hey TEKDEP, after i changed my keyboard now the fans are not working? Can you guide me please
Try reseating the fan cables into the logic board. If this is not the correct solution, try resetting the PRAM, SMC, NVRAM!
My display is broken, do you know where I might be able to buy a replacement? Thanks

I agree, basically they don't want you to repair anything so they can handle the repair almost for the cost of new device or you just buy a new one...
There are 6 attached batteries?
It’s one battery that has 6 cells

Sadly That is So True! I think we all agree that consumers deserve much Better Repairable devices specially when spending this much money..
