For podcasting I recommend using a dynamic microphone as it will reject a lot of room sound and background noise. The most important part is to make sure you are as close as you can comfortably be. Using a pop filter can help reduce sibilance and plosives as well.

How amazing is it that you became a youtuber about something you're so passionate about and then get to experience the start of people taking your photography seriously outside of the RUclips and digital space! So happy that CineStill400D transformed your photography arc! Very nice shot and kudos on the print sales. I did have the funds to pre-order 400D and instantly loved it. It’s my go-to color film now (35mm and 120) despite its steep price. That just forces you to think more carefully per shot so as not to waste it. Wishing you the best in 2023!

Great video Lucy. I've also shot quite a few rolls of CineStill 400D since it's release and it's such a beautiful film stock. Love how it renders the reds as well as how it looks with darker skin. Congrats on the exhibition! && Happy New Years!

I recently found (and bought) some Cinestill 400D from a camera shop in Palm Springs, California. I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful the photos turned out having been shot under the midday sun. Congrats on your successes! I’ve experienced similar just this year, had a piece accepted at a major art show in downtown Phoenix and am working on a zine. Happy shooting and great video!🙏🏼
Dare I say it? Reminds me of Kodachrome (RIP). Those nice bright and saturated colors! Congratulations on your gallery showing! I know what a great feeling it is to have one's work truly appreciated. 4 years ago I won grand prize for a Vivian Maier selfie contest (even with my ugly mug) at a gallery 3000 miles from me so unfortunately, I could not attend the showing (East coast USA). I currently have a multiple exposure photo hanging in The Walt Disney Family Museum in a special exhibit called "The Spirit of the Season" using a 1909 box camera! Sometimes it takes years to become an overnight success...
You are right. If you are doing the work, take the step to show it. do the best you can every time. You can't help but get better, and you will be noticed.

It just takes one person or event to change a lifetime. I love hearing stories of how someone with connections just discovered an artist and that she is willing to help. I have done a photobook of my city, got to show it to the historical society, but I kinda wish I could sell or publish it. I published it myself.
Yes so true it can be one moment, or one person that can change everything in life. I also love hearing others stories as there is always something to learn. That is awesome, maybe you can show it around more or send it to publishing companies? There is a great podcast I listened to on how to pitch to publishing companies actually. OMG, last week I bought a new Canon R10, and today I paid the equivalent of 167 AUD for what can only be described as a practically new OM 10 and the original "smells like the 80s manual". I had one back in the 90s when I was a teenager, and to be honest, I am more excited about going out with the Olympus tomorrow than I am about my new mirrorless Canon. Congratulations on your successes with that picture, but I am curious about that film, I was under the impression that film was only for low light situations? But there you are in sunny hot Australia in broad day light? Subscribed
I've been shooting Reflx Labs 400D - It's available in Australia and cheaper than Cinestill. I find if you pull the film, shooting it at ISO 200, during the day really makes the halation "pop".

Haha 😂 I bought lots of film before the price hike and i do get lots of film sent to me by my kind viewers so it hasn’t felt as much of a hit on the wallet. My partner and I both shoot too so it’s probably between us as we will share rolls so split between two people isn’t soooo bad right?? Haha 😆 thanks for watching!

Nice video and storytelling. Fyi there's this remjet-removed 250D branded as 400D that costs half the price of CS' 400D and gives you similar, if not same results. It's easier to find (at least in my country, Indonesia), you may want to look at it.
There's also 800T and 100D version of it as well, with 500T & 50D as its base respectively.
