Sped, it is with a very sad heart i say that the greatest female voice has just passed away. The incredible Judith Durham died some hours ago. The whole world just lost its only living angel. You Pommies took her to your heartsand made her and the rest of The Seekers world famous. We definitely will Never Find Another Judith. I'm sure you can appreciate what they achieved, in such a time when your Fab Four completely dominated. (i'm currently learning R+R from your vid!) Hugest thanks for all you do for us wannabe Jimmy's!
can anyone tell me what kind of drum backing track genre is on demo song 1 at 2:09? it sounds so tribal but mellow and calming. I would like to jam to this type of thing. if anyone knows let me know! I cant tell if those are congas or bongos or a regular drumkit haha
Does the new P2 have the acoustic options too? I can’t find any reference to that. Also the Mooer website doesn’t have any links to buy direct from them???
🙌🏻🤣 That’s wicked Christian and yeah it does sound cool; I’m all about the dimension and cosmic tones. Makes sense to include this update with the spare firmware slot. Thanks for watching.
Hey mate. Great video as always!!! Question: I’m using a Yamaha SLG200S for my whole show but wanting to swap my Roland GR55 for the smaller P1. Can I seamlessly swap firmwares from acoustic sounds to electric in between or even during songs or does it take a minute or two? Or can you save an acoustic preset right next to an electric? (I know, that’s two questions 🤣) Cheers, Wolfie 👍
Trying to figure out how much functional overlap this P1 and the Spark 40 have with each other. Any idea? Would be great to see a full length video on that.
@@lw1391 So the Spark i have has a similar app interface and you can essentially plug and play pedal tones and set some specific amp sounds. So similar but not as portable as this pedal. I feel like the Spark would be my go to bedroom player or preamp and this pedal would be what I would try to play or record with if I was on the road and had my guitar with. I also dig the acoustic update Sped discussed in the video. That is not something I've seen o. Spark setups at all.
Just bought mine today, plus there is a funny story with that. I am shopping for an electric guitar but just have an electric acoustic so said that will do until I get and sure enough I cross this video...the stars, galaxy and ducks are aligned lol
@@SpedSpedding indeed. Now just need an electric guitar and can really dive into re learning and add my own music to my channel. Any guitar companies watching and reading posts.... sponsorship? Lol🤣
Alas...it was short lived. Acoustic update took all day. Then I buy a electric guitar, plug it in, works great. Leave a moment then now the app is not connecting to Bluetooth even after uninstall app and reboot. Waiting for reply from tech support, if not it's dead Jim! ☠️
Looks great, and glad to have found your channel. I just ordered one. Question….I generally use multiple guitars (acoustic, electric, nylon) and sometimes bass in same show…will I be able to store presets for all of those types of instruments easily, or do you have to set something global for what instrument you are playing?
I love you Sped. Well, as much as any straight man could love another man he's only ever seen over the internet but, you really need to qualify what you want this pedal to do instead of your left hand. If only to confirm or deny, the quite graphic image I have in my head.
Hey Sped, Question: - Does the P-1 have the capability to make an electric guitar sound like an acoustic guitar ? - (Ya know, like some of those "acoustical guitar sound" pedals) 🤔 - PS. Love your videos, and your zany sense of humor !! ♥️🤘🤣🤘♥️
I just plugged it in for you to triple check. Yeah when you select the electric guitar as your input in the simulator it makes it sound like an acoustic. Slide the blend mode right over to hear the difference. 🙌🏻🔥
The P1 has Bluetooth in, so if you go into your phones Bluetooth and select "Prime P1 Audio", any music your phone is playing will come through on the P1. I've only done this after connecting via Bluetooth within the Prime app. Not sure if it works with just the single connection.
I'm a longtime acoustic player, but I just bought my first electric: a lap steel. I'm looking for a small system to give me a clean dry sound, but adding some compression and reverb MAYBE a little delay), and ability to run a volume pedal. Could I do that with this?
Yeah I mean, if you watched the whole video you will see that it can do all of those things and more. You could easily run volume pedal before it and make use of the in-built FX.
I’ve not tried so I couldn’t comment sorry. I do know that the P1 stuff sounds great though as you can hear. Also works well as a pocket sized interface.
Long time since I visited this channel. I like this channel but has had other things going on in my life for a year or so. I see my old comments are gone. I hope RUclips kept my upvotes at least.
But does it have mike inputs so it can act as a 4 track recorder? Maybe I'm being greedy. So sue me. And I want it to be a tone generator too with midi.
I wish you guys that would do these pedal demos would find the most terrible guitar you could possibly plug in to see how much improvement takes place. Considering that a lot of mid-range instruments these days exceed the manufacturing standards of the top end stuff from 30 years ago, it's difficult to gauge the effect of some of these devices when using those mid-ranged quality instruments
I wouldn't encourage anyone to play a terrible guitar, beginner or pro. I'd rather do my reviews with a decent affordable guitar that reflects a general audience. The point of the product is to expand your sonic capabilities with your acoustic rather than to save a terrible instrument.

Beautiful guitar.
Never enjoyed an ad that much! Thank you, sir!
Ah that’s awesome; yeah but it’s a fun pedal to play with. Check out the other P1 review for all the electric tones too. 🤘🏻😏
Soooo excited to get my P1 tomorrow!!!
Really cool…thanks Spedalorian 👍

does it have a pitch shifter?

Yes Ryan! Appreciate you. It was a dead simple riff, often the best ones. 💪🏻😏

I may need to go ahead and get one of these. Especially for when I don't have my Spark amp handy.

Isn’t it obvious Andrew? To help out with some wild vibrato. 😏
Vibrato! Of course! I thought you wanted help with your pull offs.

Great on all accounts.
Packs a punch for a little pedal doesn't it!
Excellent Video! Have you tried out recording loop? is stereo or just recording output could be stereo sound? How is the record quality? Thank you :)
Great riff, but you already know that. I like that little gizmo, can I have yours.
I might have to work it into a core idea. Fun little thing. And yeah it’s perfect for tones on the go. 💪🏻

Dude! I gotta ask, is your demo song 1 available somewhere?!
Is it possible to get the sound from the phone or laptop without using an amp?
