Omg she was my high school cooking (food tech) teacher. Such a nice & lovely woman. Wish her all the best.
Really, no way! My cooking (home economics) teacher was a bitch 😂
Don't lie
Aw this is great ☺️
That's amazing, I was one of the lucky students she slept with. She always graded me a A++ for my performances 🤠
Janine is so lucky, she always offers the worst deals and yet gets them.
I think shrewd more than lucky
I’d say Janine seems to leverage her contacts and personal knowledge in an industry over good deals.
Most of the deals I’ve seen her do, the entrepreneur goes for her simply because their product matches industries she has experience in.
She owns a food empire in Australia while Andrew can make some calls, but he is not well versed in the space.
And Steve just straight - look, I have nothing more to offer than money.
Her mouth is always open like she has some medical condition.
Power of having a killer smile
What a mistake. She should have taken Andrew for international market.
The best would have been to take both of them for international and domestic markets.
Definitely. Or at least bragained to have them both split it at 12.5 each, if she was that dedicated to having Janine. But I agree, Andrew would have been fine, she just seemed to have a "hard-on" for Janine lollll
She came to the show with Janine in mind. That was stupid of her
@@vikraal6974 "this is a global market that grows and globally and I tick many boxes, so I think I'll go with the local businesswoman instead of the businessman with international bussinss relations"
That was the best, most honest pitch I have seen in the tank so far!

Naomi : I love the business and the product and, for that reason, I'm out
"This is not an investment for me" is always an easy answer she gives.
Well if Steve says it tastes good then it must be good.
Nah... He was first time honest about it because he saw the money in it.
This is andrew every time, “i don’t know about this business but I have contacts in the us “.like what the hell
If only you knew how important contacts are in business
And he always makes offers... I like him
andrew is the definition of a real go-getter. especially because he isnt young, but he still puts in so much work. he puts in a lot of work in businesses that arent even his while being a shareholder or owner of numerous other businesses. him and steve will always be alpha chads.
~ I got a buddy of mine, let me call him he's an expert ~ Rick from pawn stars.
Wow this is the most likes I’ve ever gotten
I hate how Janine is always wearing a constant smile, and then does a 180 giving the worst valuations out of the sharks. Comes off as very fake...
Almost like Glen, never seen him make an offer and stick to it.
It’s because she mostly waits for the other sharks to bow out then force fed her deal to the entrepreneur, it’s smart but kinda heartless when your trying to help them build their brand, but I guess business is business
I swear Steve is the most normal person on the show 🤣
Right??? He's my favourite shark!
By far. A lot of altruism in that guy (gut it doesn't show). What he is not certain of- he asks about. The most curious of the bunch as well. And doesn't lowball like Janine.
Whenever Janine offers after another shark, it is ALWAYS for more equity
Because she "knows this space" lol. People actually fall for that sh!t lol. I would have taken Andrew or Countered Steve re not just finance, connections.
@@tasker1986 ha ha ha.
I didnt observe it. Great catch dude!
And the reason for this is because I know the space better than andrew 😂

When in the videos does it happen?

The Sharks forget to pitch their skill set. Janine has figured out how to pitch and so she pulls deals away from other Sharks because the entrepreneur hears her value.
Exactly. Just about the only reason I’ve seen people pick Janine is for skill set.
I’m thinking many of these entrepreneurs come looking not just for cash flow. After all any bank can give you a loan. They want to make a partnership of some kind.
And ironically half or so of the sharks don’t really ever bring up what they can offer aside from money.
Bingo
She should have asked Janine and Andrew to come in together at 20%
Those fake smiles when they say "I'm out"...
They are not fake they are happy they are out
Naomi 😬
Person walks into the room
Everyone: 😐 "Wonder how this is going to go"
Janine: 😄 "I'm so going to rip this person off"
If she basically decides, "The business will be worth $500k on your own or $2M with me," how has she ripped the person off?
Andrew is my favorite shark he just seems like he would care about your business more than any shark also I think Janine is the most greedy she always goes for the most equity and Steve is obviously the meanest
Steve: "I'm gonna make you an offer"
Other sharks: "Nani the fuck?"
Entrepreneur: "Nani the fuck? You just said my *vegan* food needed bacon. You're out!"
I like Steve. He's honest. Even in the past videos. Jeanne, I just observed, I always saw her offering a big %share more than the others lol. She really needs money money money. XD.
Steve would better be in Dragon's Den
Steve would better be in Dragon's Den
No janine is the Coke compared to meth....
she obviously walked in with janine in mind. the other sharks didn't have a chance.
*First time watching the Australian version*
I'm surprised she didn't negotiate
Good episode 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
I see you in the comments literally everywhere
She would've been able to negotiate to around 18-20% with Janine. With Andrew staying at 20% it wouldn't be hard to make a sensible counter offer
Janine knew she was looking for a mentor and as the saying goes time is money, so 25% was pretty fair.
The more skin in the game an investor has, the more they're willing to put in work.
It was stupid to not negotiate
She could’ve had a tag team of Andrew and Jenine for 30% split.
Or negotiate and get either of them to drop their offer by 5%
Best quote I heard on this show: "oof, I mean, how do you put a price on value?" - Andrew. Brilliant.
Lady in blue: I actually tick a huge amount of food intolerances
Shark: humm, that's good
But Naomi, that's Andrew's line! He's the one who always says "Just to confirm xxxxx" 😂
Exactly! I was wondering why Andrew had changed into a red dress to do the Valuation Summary line!
seeing austrilia shark tank and usa shark tank, it seem australia ones are only more more equity just for more contacts and have no interest in the growth and scalability of business
We need this in the US. It looks so good.
It is really nice to see that business is growing in Australia
i love andrew he have his own vibe
Just another day Steve always making great offers and being left out😂😂😂
He's a tech guy.
Would love to see a follow up on hold the business is doing in a year
Does anyone have a link? Where is the website where you can order the food?
New investor pitch going on:
Others: Doing the math to figure out financial projections and business valuation
Naomi: *writing down excuses to say "I'm out"*
Janine after giving an offer which is not better than other sharks:I know everything... You need me in your life... Without me you won't succeed... And that is why I need 100% of your company.
She's well spoken and honest, I like her.
Great episode. Both offers were great. Couldn't have gone wrong either way imo but Jeanine was the right pick.
Steve is the dude
Andrew is the narrator
Through them somehow the rest of the investors know where to go
Aussies shark tank is basically how can we all get a great deal at the end of it and make more money
The Aussies do it the best from what I've seen so far based on the rich sharing to get richer
i swear i have been binge watching ST australia and from what I recalled I didn't saw Glen ever closed a deal with someone, i guess i remembered him making an offer thrice but didn't got the deal, Naomi always says "I'm out" like Barbara in ST America but she closed number of deals already, what is wrong with this Glen guy?
9:10 That smile is beaming with love and joy 🤩
8:46 😂 Steve’s face
8:47 is better :D lol
I think she is a lovely and genuine lady
Naomi always smirks when making or rejecting a deal!
She was quick to make a deal. she could have gotten a better deal. but anyway she wanted something more than money and it seems came looking for Geniene.
She was quick to make the Deal because she needs the mentoring. Time is money.
Janine: “The reason for my high price is that I have knowledge in this market.”
This is a solid reason for her high offers, she uses it every time. It’s good, she has a great attitude.
steve and andrew just chowin down like some real alpha chads is a mood for sure
What is a try to buy ratio?
never been this quick to a video ever. give me the hype aha

you NEVER say 'delusional' to an entrepreneur. ,,,ever.
@Nick Trybull you're obviously not an entepreneur. The shopfloor is now global and the walls are north, east, south and west and not even the sky is the limit. (that's on my own website 808 investors in one zoom .com (room, works too).
@Nick Trybull either you are very young Or your just trying to be smart without any business experience and knowledge
@Nick Trybull should see, the things I've achieved thus far. Got 27 dot coms in the waiting room for my next project. Should see who follows me on Twitter! Bunch of famous aussies too LOL: not bad for a dutchman in New Zealand.

Steve is always honest but he should understand that contestants are not only looking for a money but also a mentor. Jeanie always wins because she always gives explanation for her offers
Where does she promote this?
Does Steve ever gets any offer accepted? 😂😂
Yes, definitely. It helps that there are some pitches where he isn't an ass.
Her company now has a net worth of 21.6M !!! Go gal!!!
It's nice to see vegetarian food getting popularity.. One step closer to build better world for humans and other animals
I honestly thought she was gonna deny Janine's offer cause she called her delusional.
Are the offers in US Dollars or Australian Dollars?
Why would it be US
AUD
It’s in Thai Baht.
Steve after eating vegan: chokes
Is Naomi ever in?
No, but she’s always out with a ‘far-que’ type smile.
Wow the packaged food cost almost the same as take away ! Very expensive for a bag of vegan curry 🤦♀️
Janine- I want 35% and I will give you $0. Because of what I bring to the table.
No one asked how much & wt's the margin ...
Janine talks to her like she’s dirt in the beginning and this lady still took Janines deal. I guess money talks and everything else walks. Why did she not come back for a counter offer though.
Nicole ...........
Naomi -- Hi Nicole, for that reason I'm ooouuutt
Andrew and Jenine would've made a great pairing on this one!!!!
1:55 Why does Andrew look like Naomi?
I am only a carnivore, and for that reason, I'm out...
simple, many of these meals you can simply add some sort of meat to them. stick some bacon in the microwave, then mix together and non vegan or vegetarian meal is created
When are new Shark Tank seasons starting ?
Naomi: This a great business at a fair valuation, and because of that I'm out
I don't have a business degree or the likes, so I don't understand Steve's offer here: "15% but I want a two-times return within 3 years". Ok, but what happens if she can't deliver in the end? Does he get the whole business or what? Unless they edited out his specific conditions, I wouldn't accept a vague offer like that either. Or can someone explain to me what his offer meant?
Yeah it was a pretty weird offer. I guess they would set some failure clause in the contract (like he gets more equity to double his investment)
Whats try to buy ratio
In the US the amount of kids with gluten allergies is insane. This will do amazing. I'm not sure how kids all of a sudden became allergic to everything. Peanuts especially. Growing up, no peanut table ever. It was very rare to see someone with food allergies the way it is when I was growing up in the 80's. We only knew of severe bee allergies and that was rare as well. Now everyone has an epi-pen. I'm telling you where I live in NY and even everywhere else in the US everyone is all about the healthy option even if they don't have an allergy. With grocery stores like Trader Joes and Whole Foods this product will be flying off the shelves. That's not with any allergies, that's just all the people who are all about healthy foods and being vegan. Now, with all the allergies especially gluten allergies this product will be doing extremely well in the US. Being a nurse who use to work with kids who have ADD/ADHD, autism, and other genetic issues this would be perfect for these kids. If she were to do food for kids with PKU, which she should look into, she will do amazing. These parents need food that won't cause the kids with ADD/ADHD to become even more hyper. She should look into these issues. Man the US really has a lot of issues that I don't think is as bad as anywhere else, MEDICALLY... LOL
How do the post new eps on this channel when the season is over.
Dean M you’re not understanding
How can I buy this in India??????
@Marten Dekker not stored in the fridge - ready made - just heat.
We need this in the UK asap
It's called Dragon's Den, you've had it since around 2004.
I've watched about 200 episodes so far. I'm only wondering, what is Naomi doing here?
Prolly just to make sure there's enough white people or something
Steve made an offer and didn’t even ask where she was from
I love this lady.
I have seen Dahlicious in Indian supermarkets in metro cities. Though India is not a potential market coz we do not have a culture of pre-packaged food, especially home cooked food. But I did try it and it is a good product and may be the best in the category. This should have been done by an Indian and all this while, I was thinking it was an Indian brand lol
I love Andrew's sense of humor.
Intro: Niko Omala
Me hearin Niko Omilana :
WTFFF NO WAY
I don't think I'm anything the boxes say this product is for other than hungry, yet, somehow, I still want to try/have some lol. It looked good, coming from a regular old US citizen (no special dietary stuff). Not sure if that's worth anything lol, but thought I'd throw it in there
Steve got SHUTDOWNED!
I’m confuse why she chose 100 for 25% over the lower percentage. Andrew has US connections with lower % than Janine. What am I missing?
She wanted the knowledge and mentorship if hows and whats to d o as its janine space and she is familiar within that while andrew has contacts but not the knowledge of her business where he can mentor her as he himself stated
Janine is understood to be better with retail consumables (she is in the drinks market with Boost Juice).
She literally could’ve gotten Janine and andrew both for 30% reducing to 12.5% each when she pays back that’s easily doubling her numbers with Andrew’s US contacts. Btw kick naomi out of the show she doesn’t have even the sense of a business women.
I believe she could easily have both of them for 20% if not 15%.
If she had to take one, she should have gone with Andrew because thats international market that she was after.
Steve is so crazy... He's the Undercutter
I'm in the Netherlands, Europe, and i would love to be able to buy it. Just letting you know. ;)
remebered the guy with similar concept which they had laughed at. so most is about presenting the person
Why did she not try to get both Janine AND Andrew and see if they would split?
Earlier it was annoying to hear Andrew asking about the valuation and now it is Noemi :D
Steve always goes right into the food first
I love this lady once she told steve straight where to go hahaa.
She should have used Steve and Andrews offer to bargain instead of shutting them down.
For a food business, Janine rarely tends to use the other sharks' offers as an incentive to bargain. "I know what I bring to this business, so this is my offer."
Why did she not negotiate
Naomi is so passive/aggressive ....
janine is the actual best! i don't know why i love her this much lol.
Finally a perfect 2-minute pitch
Could have gotten Janine down to 20% by at least acting interested in Steve's... that's why you don't dismiss offers even if you don't think you're going to take them.
