  • Hello Model Clubbers!
What a special treat we have today! Roll the MTV World Premier Video music! Just Paint It! sent me a surprise kit to open up and share with all of you. What a winner it is!
Below is the letter Jerry Frade sent me with all the information you need.
    Dear Model Club TV,
As an avid follower of your program, I value your opinions. Enclosed, please find the very first 3D printed fan art model kit produced by Just Paint It. Just in time for the 45th anniversary of the cult classic movie, The Warriors, I present “Swan.”
This is one of my all-time favorite movies and as such I have been on the hunt for a kit like this for a long time. Tired of not finding what I was looking for, I decided to try my hand at producing one myself. There is so much more that goes into producing a kit than what I had expected, but in the end I’m very proud of the final product.
Produced by - Just Paint It!
Sculpted by - Arthur Vergne from V3D Studios
    Engineered by - NY3D Creations
The figure kit is available in two scales: 1/8 Scale and 1/6 Scale. Included with both kits is an extra left arm holding a baseball bat.
For a limited time I am also offering a “Subway Train Doors” upgraded base kit for the larger model, sold separately.
    Pricing is as follows:
    1/8 Scale
    • Figure only - $65
    • Base Upgrade only (Train Doors) $100
    • Figure with Base upgrade $165
    • Plus shipping
    1/6 Scale
    • Figure only - $120
    • Base Upgrade only (Train Doors) $155
    • Figure and Base upgrade $275
    • Plus shipping
On my RUclips channel, Just Paint It!, you will find a release video followed by a three part “how-to” tutorial series discussing prepping the kit for painting, painting the figure, and painting the base.
More figures from the movie are already in the works and will be released in the near future.
To Order please PM me on Facebook or email me (info below)
Thank you so much for taking the time to review my kit. It is greatly appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    Jerry Frade

Never seen the movie, looks awesome kit wise... Now to convince myself to either fund some kits I want created, or decide to produce...

Nice job Jason. Great to see the excitement and enthusiasm - not unusual for you as I’m sure everyone would agree - but the “surprise” really kicked it up to eleven.
And what an amazing package (not a phrase Scott has ever heard - or so I’m told).
A huge amount of effort, thought, planning & design was put into creating this kit - so well organised, so well presented (“the things in the box”), the engineering, the wrapping/protection, a choice of scales, multiple options & price-points. The idea of creating (and linking to) tutorials etc. is also very stylish/clever.
The sculpt is beautifully detailed (I especially love the “patches” on the back of the jacket!), and the keying of the parts appears to be pretty much perfect.
Genius work from *_Jerry Frade_* of “Just Paint It!”), *_Arthur Vergne_* (the sculptor - V3D Studios) and *_NY3D Creations_* (plus whoever did the quality prints of the actual kit!)
If I ever get round to commissioning any of the dozens of kits I have on my “to do” list, I couldn’t pick a better way of doing it than the route chosen by Jerry.
Loved this upload - thank-you to all involved!

This is a great looking sculpt and print. The detail in the leather vest is unreal. Congratulations on a great first kit and best of luck to you. Great review, Jason.

WOW! Thank you for the amazing review!!! I'm speechless. Glad you are also a fan of the movie. Now we need to get a copy of the DVD to Scott! Once again Thank you so much. The review was way better than what I expeted.

Always set your expectations low when it comes to me, that way a pleasant surprise is usually the outcome ;) Thank you so much for sending it in!!! And best of luck with such an awesome kit!
Scott told me he has seen it, once, a very long time ago.

Saw The Warriors in the theater when it was first released. Such an awesome film. Like how the first kit is Swan and not Luther. Base upgrade kit is absolutely bad ass.

Off the subject.. why not do a video on the paint that works the best durability and adhesion wise
Sorry , but craft paints are not for model kits and they streak..
and limited adhesion scratch off easy..
Since you collect paints.. I'm curious about revell .. Though, it's thick like soup
