Don’t let all of your life’s stresses build up - you have a lot to deal with, so taking time for yourself makes sense. That is much better than burning out. Staying available for your mom is a priority, so enjoy that time with her. We viewers will survive without your videos, albeit with less enjoyment, but we’ll be here whenever you’re ready. I really enjoy your honesty, the down-to-earth thinking and the ways you express things, and your willingness to try things you haven’t done before in front of an audience. I enjoy living in Michigan with all it has to offer, and woods are what I enjoy the most!

So glad you are taking care of your mom. I just lost my dad after caring for him over 22yrs. He had Alzheimer's, fell and broke his hip. But also had artery disease. But the fall took him away. So I understand how much your mom means to you. Thanks for everything you do in life and interacting with us all. Much respect to you.
My favorite video was when you and DaWolf went to the cabin on your property during a blizzard. Just watching the coziness and simplicity was so calming and peaceful. I also love to see you cook and such when you’re home.

I just love spending time with you virtually, you inspire me with every video. So whatever you do, I'll tune in. That being said, you asked, now...this may be waaay past where you are in your interest level, but I am an old lady, just considering my first baby steps back into camping, hiking, the wilderness, something I loved as a younger person, but got away from. I am not a joiner, I'm an introvert, so a local club won't work for me. I would love some videos covering any tips, tricks, or techniques on how to get back out there solo and have fun again, without fear or trepidation, or feeling the fear and trepidation and doing it anyway. I need some first steps. Hugs and admire you so much!

Well the thing is, you are creative in so many ways. I think artists feel boxed in if they only get to pursue one creative outlet. That's just my two cents. I am an artist, and after I did canvas piece work at home as a job ,I didn't pick up a brush for like ten years!! I enjoy your videos whenever you can get one out...:)

Life happens. Middle years where you are sandwiched in between your adult or almost adult children, aging parents, and coping with your own health really are tough. Brooke, I enjoy your channel. Your adventures take me home. I'm originally from Northern Michigan. I left in 2011 and moved to Oklahoma. My dad had 10 acres of land east of Gaylord. When my step mom sold it after he passed away, I had no where to go and commune with nature. Sure I'd go to the lake or go for a drive but then I was injured and could no longer handle the weather of Michigan. So watching your channel, you take me home to the woods I enjoyed. Having said that, everyone needs a break to recharge. Life happens and you cannot avoid it. Just watching the fire, I imagine I'm sitting next to it. God bless you.

I became a subscriber after seeing you on Alone in 2017 (I am subscribed to and watch all of your family's channels). I watch your videos to see you do things you enjoy. Spending time at your cabin or in your vardo, spending time on your land, sitting in front of a fire, cooking a meal, walking through the woods, talking to the camera, seeing your dog. All of these things are the norm on your channel, and what I consider to be great content. Creative projects are neat and all, but I don't expect you to have some new project every video; I think that's unrealistic and unsustainable. Take time for yourself, and make videos when you have something to share.
I have been a RUclips content creator for over a decade. I learned a long time ago not to force myself into a video release schedule, or try to have something new and unique in each video. I freed myself from burnout by letting it go and doing it for the joy of it when I wanted to share. I still go by this formula and it has worked for me, but I am not monetized.
You do you. We'll be here to watch when you want to make a video.

I loved your adventure down the river with your friend. I love your builds. They are so unique and whimsical. You don't take the easy route when it comes to your builds. I love your name. When I was young, I wanted my name to be Brooke. I love how you are your own person, fearless, strong, determined and down to earth. And I love that friggin' adorable pup. I feel the stillness of the forest, hills and rivers in your videos. It brings me peace.

Don't stress about taking time for yourself, we will still be here. Family comes first, as one who is also a caregiver to a parent I can honestly say there are days it is more intensive than a full time job.
I love all your content, cabin builds, renos, trailer builds, cutting wood, building campfires, cooking, canoeing, live chats , and heart to hearts around the campfire. They’re all enjoyable. I’d love to see more canoeing or kayak trips or maybe some hikes around your property. Just get outside and get happy. You definitely make all of us happy, and for that, I thank you. Even if I can't get outside to get happy this week, it makes me really happy to watch you doing so! Thank you for taking the time to document and share your experiences, but never feel like you have to sacrifice your sanity or happiness to do so. if you only made two videos a year, I will still joyfully watch! We enjoyed your update, and I agree with those that said don’t worry. Life happens, things change. My 92 year old mom calls it “the new normal”. She just got a pacemaker and I feel blessed to be available to help out when necessary, even though we live 800 miles apart. I’m glad to see you are putting family and your health first. I’ll be praying for you.

I'm a survivalist bushcrafter, and live a very primitive lifestyle in a tiny house in the ground with sand and concrete incasing it. No well, rain catching system, tiny solar system, no running water, composting toilet, biomass rocket wood stove, so I'd like to see things on that basis. 🙂👍

I'd like to honor the memory of my cat😺 Black Sheep who used to stay up at night watching your videos with me. You asked what we liked. I really loved your anniversary video where you guys were just enjoying each other's company and camping. I was hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and hadn't seen anyone in days so it was like I got to just chill with you guys for a little while.
I really love your build videos. I love that you pray on camera, too. I've been excited to see the properties that you guys have bought and are developing. I'll do the same thing someday and I really appreciate not just the knowledge and experience you guys share, but I absolutely love how genuine you are and how naturally you guys communicate. Btw, Dave has an unusually nice speaking voice.
I also really appreciate that you guys aren't pushy and you don't ask for likes and subs at the beginning of a video that we haven't watched yet.
You guys just seem like the type of people I'd enjoy hanging out with... and people like that prioritize life over videos.

You could talk more about splitting wood (I went back to that same eclectic shop and bought a splitting maul) you've cut a lot of pine but it burns colder than other wood... is it just for a good campfire? I'm still rubbish at getting a fire going, no Birch near me. I meant to go collect some from a trail an hour from here, I know where there is some but the summer got away from me! Oh, and I've enjoyed watching your boy! Maybe you could get your girl to make us some fancy coffee drinks, have a show and tell! Love to you all! I watched Bushradical too, his build a wood shed.

I am almost 77 years old and was an 18th century reenactor for over 30 years. I love watching your outdoor activities. The small cabin and the A frame are my favorite locations plus the walled tent and the way you decorate are amazing. Just you and moose spending time outside. I’d love to be able to do the same but at 76 I’ve missed that time. Take care of yourself first though.
Your health and peace of mind and spirit is a first do. If you are gone from over load, we all loose. If folks can not grasp this channel is a two way road then they are not friends of value.
