Land & Sea: Mushuau Innu learn to hunt caribou in Labrador

In this archival Land & Sea episode from 1979, young Mushuau Innu are returning to the Labrador barrens to hunt the migrating caribou, trying to preserve old ways of life.

Just to let you know I am a member of the Innu. I've been diagnosed with bipolar and pschitzephrenia. From being in jail and the hospital. It has taught me of my cultural beliefs that the shaman in my people didn't die out and it's all God who's trying to block the views of seeing the future of his and others.... when I was young I used to see this vision of someone using the shaking tent in Davis inlet and I would see a woman in the wooded area at the back of the airstrip using a feather in her hands with chants of another language. All I see is people trying to go inside my head and other people's heads on earth. It could be the Creator of God's in the people who didn't follow the path of humanity as God was writing it from seeing it in my head. The Creator somehow looks like my great grandfather saying that he's not a demon... and he said the land will be the innu's shortly after one innu man from natuashish and sheshatshiu will go up to the creator and one woman from Quebec but didn't say the names to me. The only thing that we'll be rich of is culture and knowledge of how strong the voices will be when you all stop doing bad cuz my great grandfather is the angel of this name Cree-edorour....... in the shaman bible that's hidden in the land of Canada somewhere.... is where his body's been hidden for so long in Egypt, and Jerusalem..... I am just the grandchild who doesn't like kidnapping, stealing, pedophiliasm, lying, cheating, killing, fighting, and childish behaviors.....also why do bad if you believe in God who is runned by the Creator. The things to be thankful of is peace, love, humility, serenity, courage, honourability and the presence of guide full people... why did the Caucasians invade our time on earth when we were doing the best we can to make other world's for all the different cultured people and it shouldn't have been evil if the rats weren't transported to earth on little cages...and the story goes on if u ask the right people cbc
