Hi Maddy do you know if there is a Hmart in Queens specifically the Flushing area? That is where I go to the groceries stores to buy Asian ingredients and food.
Your voice combined with the cooking is so super calming. Probably one of my favorite cooking channels right now!
😌thank you so much!!
Until you mentioned it I was confused for a second, I’m like “ Heinz makes fish sauce”.
same!! haha
Your videos don't feel overly staged like those "seamless loop" videos many content creators are doing right now. I really appreciate how natural your videos are. They are all about comfort, be it from your soft, gentle voice or the delectable food that you cook up or indulge in, and I wouldn't change a thing about them. Thank you for all the stories you share, for being real and vulnerable, and your words of wisdom. I love growing with your videos, and I hope your breakup is now over you ❤ What a lovely, warm bowl of Kalguksu.
Maddie, you are my comfort youtuber! Listening to your podcast marked the begining of my self-love journey and I'm forever grateful for that.
Thank you!! So happy to hear that :))
thank you for your videos! your videos makes me feel very comfortable and makes realise how it's okay to be on your own, like a life where it's just you and the things you like isn't exactly lonely.
thank you for including photos of what they look like at the grocery store!!
This looks super comforting and yum. But also can we get more Charlie content? He’s so cute!
😊 yes ! On days i dogsit him
I love the new logo in the start of the video, it’s adorable, I love it sm :))
🥰🥰its my new logo! Thank you!!
@@CafeMaddy :)) 🥰😊
Reminds me of 'mi soa' a chinese dish, my late dad always made , but he used little dried ebi instead of shrimp. And the type of noodles is different too. Eventhough my mom can also made it, but he rarely cook, so yeah.
i love your longer videos (though this isn’t very long haha) since you can get more in depth in the recipe. this looks so comforting, i’d love to try it sometime 🥰
Thank you! I like making longer videos too, I hope it eventually reaches a larger audience 🥰
@@CafeMaddy omg thank you for the reply 🥺 i hope so too, i really loved the podcast :D
As a foreigner, this is the first time I know Kalguksu, one of the famous noodles in South Korea. I really want to eat Kalguksu if I have a trip to South Korea.
your videos are so great at showing how to make leftover ingredients into something delicious!
I can feel the warmth from ur video
Even though i am not Korean i find your videos so satisfying to watch especially the cooking ones.
This video is so comforting
Your videos are so calming. They really help me with my anxiety disorder. Thank You❤
Maddy, I have made this twice now it is sooo good!! Truly like a warm hug. I couldn't find the broth packs at my asian store so I used korean bone broth instead.
I love your videos! Thank you for sharing them with us.
And Charlie is the cutest btw ❤
Found you from IG! Love your cooking content ❤ So comforting and relaxing to watch.
yummmmyyyyy lawrd heading to the grocery to get the ingredients!!! always love your videos
Really enjoying learning about new cuisine from your videos. I've watched so many today while sick in bed and planning when I can cook again haha.
Hope you feel better:) 💜
I just saw this as I was searching for Korean Air (saw what you ate on your 14hr flight - amazing!). Going to Seoul for the first time next year and want to see what Korean food is about. This was so satisfying and just before you added the fish sauce I was like, do Koreans use fish sauce in their noodles at all and wham bam thank you so much you added it in!!! What a delicious and satisfying noodle soup you made, healthy, nutritious and full of flavour. Thank you for sharing ❤ 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
Thank you for linking the soup packs ❤️❤️❤️
Np!! Hope u enjoy the recipe :)
This felt so comforting to watch. And relaxing. Thank you for what you do. Ps. Your new logo added to the warm fuzzy feeling
Your video calming me
Thank you so much 💌💌💌
I am vegetarian but this is looking so appetizing... I can totally skin the egg, fish sauce and add maybe paneer... I wish I could get those leafs you used but I don't think it'll be available here in India... Aaah... Looks so clean, warm and I love green chillies so 😍
I mean skip the egg 😅
Not sure how paneer would taste in this, but soft tofu is a very common ingredient in Korean soups!
@@Chris-vk8pr I haven't tried tofu before and I don't know if I'll be able to get soft tofu here... That's why paneer is kinda a safe option 😁
Loves your videos🤭its so calming 😍
🥰wau youre early!! Thank you💜💜
Always so healing to hear you and see your food journey.
Wish I can get this kind ready packet in France but kinda hard to find. I used to replace with dried shiitake and kombu when I don't feel making a pretty good broth from scratch
Ahh yeah the mushroom and kombu alone can make an excellent, clean tasting broth too 😊 hope there are more ingredients accessible in france!
Thank you..this gives me an idea
Yum! I wish I looked as elegant as you when I slurped my noodles! Love the new logo, and the little cute logo at the end too.
I’d settle for just being able to slurp noodles without getting soup all over my shirt… 😛
Nice! it looks beautiful and I bet delicious! Keep healthy and safe! xo
Yummy
im gonna try this :D
one of my favorite comfort foods. i’ve tried to replicate my moms, but it’s never even close to hers.
We’re all sick over here so now all I can think about is making this!
Ahhh hope u guys feel better!
the way i remember worcestershire sauce is woo - stir - sheer :)
💝💝💝
Bangs!
Another fab video Maddie! Just in case it helps, Worcestershire is pronounced 'woo-ster-sher' - from a British fan who was laughed at by my family for pronouncing it wrong 😂
😂😂😂ugh THANK YOU! Every time I struggle even if I’ve looked up how to say it so many times
Could you use dried jajangmyeon noodles as well in this soup?
Yes!
Can we put vegetarian broth instead if there's no dried anchovies in our country? Pls answer me
much healthier than processed reman
If comfort food could be human would be you
Or you can do what I did today and got out some instant gomtang ramyun. Removed the ramyun noodles and replace with kalguksu noodles. Instant bastardized gomtang kalguksu!
Hi Maddy! I actually have a personal question to ask you but I do not know where to message you since I can't really send it through IG/Facebook/ or TikTok
