Highly recommend this author to all my educator friends. Please note that Kevin is not saying that educators should be armed or that teachers should actively pursue very aggressive techniques that could harm or kill student assailants as a first line of defense. He and I both believe the teachers should always avoid violent interactions with students but have solid technique and know are personal capacities and limitations if we are forced to defuse potentially dangerous situations in the classroom. At the same time these techniques should minimize whenever possible the legal liability for those who are forced to do so. I look forward to reading this excellent volume
Thanks for the referral. Exactly right. I work with a lot of teachers and understand the despair and frustration they feel. They should not have to be security guards. Nevertheless, there are simple things they can and should do and others they absolutely should not, and clarity gives us power. I very much geared this book to the average teacher to give them achievable objectives and simple tactics to help keep them and their students safe.
Awesome content as always, Kevin. Do you have any coupons available for your courses at the moment? I want to purchase 4 separate ones and was wondering
This is perfect! I can't wait to get a copy. Question which combative form you've trained in utilizes side handle baton? Does Russian Systema have techniques for it?
I did a lot of traditional Martial arts: Kung fu and karate featured them, I’ve incorporated them into my jujitsu and “m a law enforcement instructor so I trained in various baton approaches.
@@colemorrow3333 absolutely. It’s an amazing tool. Sadly it requires that little bit of training and therefore funding that most organizations no longer want to invest in.
Sorry for the hassle. I don’t actually control the site. It’s an American company called pivotshare. You need to reach out to them at support@pivotshare.com. They’re the only ones who have access to your financial details and can reset passwords etc. You can feel free to cc me at kevinsecours@hotmail.com and I will help push if there are any delays. Normally they take 48 hours to respond . Sorry about the grief. I wish I could reset it for you .

@@Combatprofessor nice. Which baton is your personal go to?
@@colemorrow3333 I taught monadnock both solid and retractable for thousands of officers so it’s the most familiar
@@Combatprofessor nice. I like the side handle for the momentum you can get by swinging it but also can be defensive
