This game and Winning Eleven 2002, could have been the best football games of all time, only if few annoying things could be changed. But I guess, this will never happen.

But there are some bugs which if they would have been fixed, it would be the best football game ever made. - A lot of times, when a goalkeeper shoots the ball towards the center court, you already know if you or your opponent will "catch" it with the head - If you have less than 9 in "Speed" and you run along the throw in line, the opponent will ALWAYS catch you (overrun you) and take the ball. - The famous bug with goals scored very close to the crossbar and posts (the ball hits the outer side of the post, and the game registers it as a goal. Or the ball hits a crossbar, and the game registers it as a goal too). - Artificial Inteligence of the defenders is sometimes very bad. - One-two pass is too strong, but maybe this is not a bug, and can be avoided by not using the one-two pass. - Also this is not a bug, but it would be very nice to have it: a replay function, but at any time in the game, not only when you score the goal. Fifa had this function since FIFA 1998 maybe. - And a lot of other smaller things, which I forgot. All of them make WE2002, ISS pro a not the best football game of all time, in my humble opinion.
@@djordjespasic2179 I think the things you have mentioned dont really matter. As they dont distract from the overall experience.As the overall gameplay is just sublime. The ball hitting the post or bar and going in , i have never experienced that to be honest.I have been playing this game since 2001. I do agree that there should have been the option of a replay added. So many great plays on the midfield or a nice through pass ,would have been great to watch over again.but that does not matter in the end. I play this game on a modded ps1 ,crt tv with scart cable.. then i have patched the game with real names and zapper 2000 to change the output from pal to ntsc. This removes the black bars and the game runs smoother and looks better. Same like wide mode in winning eleven 4. I loved this feature.. which was only on the Japanese versions not all of them. As it was removed from we2000 u23 and WE 2002. What are your top 3 favourite football games ?

If in 90% of the time, I know which side (me or the opponent) is receiving the ball with its head, once the goal keeps shoots it towards the center-this destroys the unpredictability. If I am running with a player along the throw-in line, and my player has Speed
