I owned Premier Manager '99, and every time I got congratulated on the recent run of results, I would lose 5-0, or 6-0, to a team who were in the relegation zone. I remember, when I was Leeds United, and I was unbeaten in the 1st 10 games, and Middlesbrough were bottom of the League, and I lost 5-0, to Middlesbrough, away.
This was a really adictive game back in the day. I used to start on career mode (where your offered jobs) with Barnet. I loved Sean Devine, he was like a 4 star rated player in Division 3. I used to love it when Man City and Fulham struggled, cause if you did well in division 3, you would get offered those jobs. Time literally flew by when playing on this game. Spent many late nights on this, I used to always think 'one more season, then I'll turn it off' Next thing I know, it's like 2/3 am :D
