Bob making sure the dinosaur is always in the shot shows even thousands of miles a way, or light years, he still wants his kids to know how much he loves them.
They are actually "only" about 250 miles above Earth's surface, lol. Though since they have to orbit the planet a few times to meet up with the station, the journey is a lot longer. I agree with your sentiment though!
Ive got hope that people who want progress and growth can do it in space, and people who don't want to do anything can just chill on earth and be peaceful.

I just wish James would do more research about them. The fact that when there’s a dinosaur toy seen from time to time that tells us how much a little boy means a lot to a father who is far away up in the space.
Debatable. The amount of space junk, radiation and their environment all in itself is no optimal at all. Here you can still find isolated places that have no Covid, violence, etc.
Not really that far away from Earth. Just approx. 410 km (255 miles) above the surface, orbiting at a speed of 7.66 km/s (27,600 km/h; 17,100 mph). But yeah, calm, collected, and humble great guys indeed.
And just because they don't have to worry about corona, doesn't mean thet don't have any other worries. Up there you have to think and be careful about n number of things.
Yep. They are actually on earth trying to fool us into thinking they are travelling past 3500 degree heat in the thermosphere. No human or machine can survive the heat of thermosphere.
Yeah, astronauts always have a 2 week quarantine before going up in a rocket, just to make sure no nasty bugs end up getting onto the ISS. You're going to be isolated on the space station for several months, could you imagine the havoc something like a cold would do to the crew?
"Look now, look all around, there's no sign of life Voices, another sound, can you hear me now? This is planet earth you're looking at planet earth" -Duran Duran
James and his staff have the most creative late night show in decades. "I've spent most of my life wanting to be weightless" As you can see the dinosaur is still moving in a direction due to gravity or maybe not. Say what?? Thank you James for showing the astronauts. They may be out of sight but not out of mind.
the microgravity means that inertia is a lot more prominent in space. as the effect of gravity is ~0N, any force exerted on an object means that the object will continue to move in that direction until another force acts upon it, eg the dinosaur reaching the end of its tether, or the jellybean hitting Bob's mouth. look up Newton's first law if you are interested
Me and my sister got real sea sick deep sea fishing. The worse thing was we both were puking at the same time on the same side and my puke blew into her face lol

What a time to be a dinosaur !

dude, the sun isn't even close to a light year away, and the ISS is nowhere close to the sun!

After one month on board the ISS, Bob is still beaming like a fanboy who just got hired for his dream job.
I just wish James would do more research about them. The fact that when there’s a dinosaur toy seen from time to time that tells us how much a little boy means a lot to a father who is far away up in the space.
that toy is used in the shuttle because when they come out of the atmosphere it starts floating. it is used as an indicator.
@@annatomio3649 Their sons chose that toy personally. That's why its significant to them.
